More than adequate for the price.
The rooms are outdated, but serve my purpose. Wasn't looking for a luxury resort. Just a place to sleep and bathe.
Northside is the most convenient motel to the Williams College campus. The staff are so nice. Parking is easy and off street. We've stayed there 8 times so far.
Not updated, at least the rooms we've stayed in. Not enough power outlets. Some of the outlets did not work or were so old and over used that our laptop and phone plugs would sag and fall out onto the floor.
The staff at the front desk was very nice. The location to Main Street was nice and convenient.
Listed as offering wifi-wifi never would connect; horrible musty smell the entire 3 nights-had to go the grocery at 10:30 pm to purchase candles on the first night because the smell was unbearable; cleanliness was poor-there was a black ring on the shower curtain, hair in the tub, overall dirty and found bugs indoors.
no microwave, refrigerator small,no shade in bathroom curtain torn, poor lighting in parking lot,not enough parking spaces, bathroom small, moth ball smells in room, ice machine outside not hooked up,pool in bad shape,no clock in room, coffee machine too small for anything
clean room, decent bed
TV was not high quality, small parking lot
The location is perfect for the Williamstown Theatre and the little shops etc. on the main street. Close enough to The Clark Gallery as well. The motel itself is old and slightly scruffy. It is what it is for what you pay. It's a good deal if you are not too fussed about decor and externals.
Cramped quality to the room. Not much connection with staff. Everything very worn and old. Very tired bedspreads.
Location next to Williams campus is outstanding. I liked having a lot of windows that open.
New furniture, very comfortable bed with enough blankets, overall a cozy room. The staff let me use their phone to call home as we had no cell phone signal.
pool was not open
Access to Williams College campus
Difficulty finding parking space at night.
Clean, quaint, simple, convenient to Williams College. Located adjacent to police station. Great value.
Location, safe being next door to police station. Available last minute, Allowed to bring my bike into the first floor room, nice breeze through large windows and sheets were white & clean,
Mold & mildew on shower curtain. Large patch of bed spread melted from previous guest evidently setting the hot flat iron on it both items were still in place as if they'd be used.Food left in the mini fridge probably the maid/owners leftovers from lunch, Gross!!
I liked the price for what I received - good bed, spacious room, little fridge, internet, clean sheets/towels... great location for dropping off my son at Williams College
the use of disposable dishes at breakfast with no visible possibility for recycling them
Comfortable double bed, shower clean, plenty of warm water, towels
vinyl furniture, substandard inadequate fluorescent lighting, one lamp did not have an extension cord so it was useless, very average tv. Dark and noisy room right on the street. Noisy window ac
The location and low cost made this stay a good one.
The rooms were a little tired ...some updating is needed
The location, comfortable bed.
Needs an upgrade very badly. Overall appearance is very shabby, and the room had mismatched and old pieces of furniture.
Location is great backside of Williams College
Rooms smell and have not be touched or fixed up to look better. Breakfast is ridiculous, very little choice. Minimal staff. No one overseeing breakfast. Microwave in an area different from the tiny breakfast area. Hotel appears to be run by teenagers who do the front desk and gardening
Looked nothing like the pictures old and smelly. No air conditioning, couldn't see the cable tv. It was the worst place I ever stayed. Complaining to booking didn't help they talk to a 14 old kid who was working there. I will never use booking. Com or recommend this disgusting place.
Place needs total remodeling. Third floor shouldn't be used. Felt totally unsafe. Hand written sign that Leeds to a room that looks creepy at best identifies a fire exit. Where does this lead? Arrived late and very tired but we couldn't sleep in this unsafe room. The bed was comfortable and reasonably clean but not a place I could have slept well in. We spoke to a person who I believe is the owner about our concerns but it fell on deaf ears. We found ourselves without a place to sleep and out $130.00.
Location. Location. Location
Breakfast was poor.
The housekeeping staff struck me as friendly and competent. I liked the fact that this was clearly a family-owned business with family members staffing the desk. The location definitely was good.
The pool was not too clean.. The ice machine barely generated ice. Furthermore, it was located outside, and there were insects in the ice. The toilet took some time to flush and refill. Also, it was noisy. The lighting in the room was dim.
Bed was comfortable and the location was excellent for what I needed a room for. Great value for the money.
The building is old, the floor creaked and the door stuck a bit. Great value for the money!
Pool area needs to be spruced up!
Bed was good
Dirty, staff was not friendly, Wi-Fi did not work
Bed was clean. Price was right.
Dated. Needs renovation.
