Score from 75 reviews Good 7.6/10
The location is perfect for the Williamstown Theatre and the little shops etc. on the main street. Close enough to The Clark Gallery as well. The motel itself is old and slightly scruffy. It is what it is for what you pay. It's a good deal if you are not too fussed about decor and externals.
Cramped quality to the room. Not much connection with staff. Everything very worn and old. Very tired bedspreads.
Location next to Williams campus is outstanding. I liked having a lot of windows that open.
New furniture, very comfortable bed with enough blankets, overall a cozy room. The staff let me use their phone to call home as we had no cell phone signal.
pool was not open
Access to Williams College campus
Difficulty finding parking space at night.
I liked the price for what I received - good bed, spacious room, little fridge, internet, clean sheets/towels... great location for dropping off my son at Williams College
the use of disposable dishes at breakfast with no visible possibility for recycling them
Comfortable double bed, shower clean, plenty of warm water, towels
vinyl furniture, substandard inadequate fluorescent lighting, one lamp did not have an extension cord so it was useless, very average tv. Dark and noisy room right on the street. Noisy window ac
The location and low cost made this stay a good one.
The rooms were a little tired ...some updating is needed
The location, comfortable bed.
Needs an upgrade very badly. Overall appearance is very shabby, and the room had mismatched and old pieces of furniture.
Location is great backside of Williams College
Rooms smell and have not be touched or fixed up to look better. Breakfast is ridiculous, very little choice. Minimal staff. No one overseeing breakfast. Microwave in an area different from the tiny breakfast area. Hotel appears to be run by teenagers who do the front desk and gardening
Bed was comfortable and the location was excellent for what I needed a room for. Great value for the money.
The building is old, the floor creaked and the door stuck a bit. Great value for the money!
Pool area needs to be spruced up!
Bed was good
Dirty, staff was not friendly, Wi-Fi did not work
Bed was clean. Price was right.
Dated. Needs renovation.
The location is the best part of the deal. The bed was very comfortable.
The lobby is outdated, neglected, totally uninviting and to boot unpleasant staff who could care less about your arrival or needs. I asked for my room not to be sprayed with chemicals but my request was ignored. While the room is poorly decorated, there was some attempt to update it. All together the room is not in iting. I was happy to go on my way in the morning and return as late as possible to shower and sleep. The bathroom while clean is much too small and uncomfortable with no spac.
Close to everything!!
Bathrooms too small, and cramp!!
Location, price, staff friendly and helpful
4:30 am wake-up call never came, Room never vacuumed during our 4 night stay, Continental breakfast was only cereal, bread and apples. Really lacking.
Room had everything needed - comfy bed, good lighting, AC, easy access, wifi, TV, space. For a very reasonable price in walking distance from the center of this beautiful college town in the Berkshires. Even included breakfast! I rather liked the old-fashioned motel feel.
The grounds could use some spruicing up. While the pool is beautiful, the landscape and driveway needs work. The smell in the room was a bit "New England summer musty", but the AC helped a lot with that.
We were on the third floor, #334, w/no elevator. the room was compact--not too small--with a comfortable king-size bed, ample pillows and air-conditioning that worked. the bathroom was a good size, but needed updating, particularly the bath/shower. modest number of cable stations [less than a dozen, i think]. wifi didn't work very well at first but then was fine for watching netflix, etc,on an ipad. Nice mini-frige. Location was great, right across from Williamstown theatres and short walk to restaurants on Spring Street. Breakfast room was kind of dreary--better lighting needed--but coffee was fine, though we brought the rest ourselves and there were toasters to use.
The room smelled of deodorizer that was so powerful, it was obviously being used to cover up something more unpleasant. The room was drab and dingy. During check in the process was interrupted twice while desk person disappeared without any acknowledgement of his purpose. Overall, a most unpleasant experience. I will not go back.
the convenience of it, /the fact that you could open the windows
The bathroom. Too cramped especially sitting do2n on thee toilet
Wifi was good. Staff pleasant.
The worst room I have ever stayed in. The ceiling tiles were literally falling off and filthy. The floor was uneven the furniture horrible. The fridge would not plug into the wall. Terrible smell of mould.
The price was reasonable
Everything seemed a little tired and out of date.
The rooms smelled at first of air freshener and then when that wore off it was unpleasant.
Great location Price was very reasonable
Problems with lock, required reprogramming several times. Corrected with no hassle and an apology
The bed was uncomfortable and the room and motel really need an upgrade
