We liked the room because it had a fireplace and it was walking distance to Big Bear Village where the shops are. The view is of their parking lot, not that great. The thermostat did not allow us to set the temp to 70 degrees so we were too hot all night long. Also, the TV was inside a cabinet which was not visible from the bed. We had to sit in upright wooden chairs in front of the TV and they were not comfortable. |

The proximity to shops, bars and restaurants. All walking distance as well as the lake, also near the main road so very easy to commute. |

Location, front desk, Katy was extremely friendly. Needed towels, had to wait at pool for over an hour. No one ever came, had to hunt for towels ourselves. |

The hotel is in a great locations. It was not on the lake, but it was close by the town center which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It is a bit dark. We stayed in a room on the first floor that was at the back of the hotel (not pool side) so I can't speak for those rooms. The lighting in the room was dim and it would have been nice to be able to brighten it up a bit without having to open the window and be exposed to the parking lot. Also, the room was warm and a bit stuffy even with the a/c cranked as high as it could go. |

I am very pleased with my visit to the Northwoods Resort. The staff was friendly and helpful, my room was clean and the locations was more than I could have asked for because it is in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the village. Also the lake and trails was only a 15 minute drive. The bar as great specials in the evenings and the bartender was especially courteous, it felt like i was a local and not just a tourist. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want to visit Big Bear. |

Kamin im Zimmer, Internetzugang vorhanden, tolle Landschaft Zugang zum Fahrstuhl erst nach halber Treppe möglich. War für mich mit viel Gepäck etwas umständlich. |
