Location was close to subway which made it easy to get to everything we needed.
Hot plate did not work. Coat of paint needed.
Good location. Nice neiborhood.
A few maintainance issues, but no big deal. The problem is actually service. Keys are delivered in another location at the other side of Manhattan. A long and unconfortable commute with suitcases. Someone did come to pick the keys when checking out however she wasn't very kind. I've had much better experiences renting apartments at lower costs. It definitely won't be my first choice on another trip.
Other than the location, nothing was good.

Very comfortable beds and the linens were good. Well appointed kitchen and the whole apartment was very clean. Convenient location for groceries, coffee, restaurants and subway.
Broken kitchen faucet. Broken toilet seat, spraying bathroom faucet. Lock on front door sort of works but latch does not. Newly renovated but not well-maintained. Could not contact owners/managers once we arrived. Phoned and texted them but no response. Only one set of keys for 4 of us.
A really nice and cosy small apartment on the corner of E27 and 2nd Avenue. Just a few minutes to the subway, and walkable to many destinations. A small, but nice kitchen and three bedrooms - one of them rather warm, one medium and one, because of a window that wouldn't close, not very. Still, a home away from home, and, given the price, a very good choice for a small crowd.
Shower arrangements were a bit on the primitive side. Also, there is a sign on the door saying that you can send an e-mail and agree about leaving luggage in the apartment, which we did. On the day of departure though, we checked out at 11, our flight leaving in the evening, and had to explain the situation repeatedly to a very angry and primarily Spanish-speaking cleaner, who wanted to throw us out, but finally let herself be greased into giving us special treatment and let the luggage stay as agreed with the management.
Location is great, the apartment was large and nicely decorated.
There is no front desk, you have to call a random cell phone number, then wait while somebody brings the keys. Then they want you to go to ANOTHER ADDRESS, so beware if you don't know the city it could be a problem for you. The bathroom ceiling was falling down. Could not shower. On these reviews people have been complaining about the bathroom for months, Fix the bathroom already!!
Location - near to subway and buses, and walking distance to Empire State Building
The flat is in poor condition, with a big leaking hole in the ceiling, only one working heater in the entire apartment, insufficient crockery and cutlery, and no response from the office when we asked them to fix the TV
The location is good and having three bedrooms in NYC was great. The apartment is only 3 blocks from the 28th street subway. Although the rooms are small our family of four had plenty of space. The living area might be too small for more than four though as there is seating only for four. The television is a complex system (instructions would be helpful) and stopped working. Someone was sent to fix it the same day so a quick response. The lady who does the housekeeping was very helpful at the end of our stay when we needed to store our luggage (it gets stored one block away at the same place we picked up the key).
- Shower didn't drain properly. It was horrible standing in there with the water filling up around my feet. Toilet seat was broken - Cold! Drafts through the windows, snow actually blew through the window gaps. There was nowhere near enough heating for January. Only consider this apartment in warmer months. - Wifi only worked 1/6 days. After the television was fixed we could see the connections but couldn't connect. We did ring twice but it was hard to get information and we were too busy doing other things to spend more time trying to address the issue. -It didn't worry us but this is a third floor walk up. This wasn't clear at the time of booking. Be aware if you have mobility issues. - Having small issues addressed was a hassle. We needed an extra key and when we rang we were told the housekeeper would bring one the next day. The apartment isn't serviced daily so it was unclear who we were getting the key from. It wasn't put in the room while we were out. In the end we gave up. Maybe try asking for two keys at check in if you think you'll need more than one.

There was a kitchen, but not a table to eat on; a small glass coffee table wasn't suitable for anything. There wasn't a heating system in one of the bedrooms; it was very cold there; there was only one pair of a key, and if one person left with the key, all others had to stay inside, because the door to the apartment could not be locked without a key: you should give people at least two sets of keys.

Address given in confirmation email was wrong street number for apartment. Apartment not ready for occupancy at 3pm as guarenteed. No washclothes with towels.

Ok location. Sufficient air conditioning. Plenty of hanging space. Plenty of clean towels.
Was told there was an en suite in the apartment and there wasn't. Cleaner came in before the departure time and started to remove bedding while we were still packing. Door looked like it had been damaged.
Great sleeping space. Kitchenette was modern and clean, with full glasswear and silverwear. Location was good, nice neighborhood, very young crowd. Owners of apartment were very helpful and accommodating.
Sheets seemed a little dirty, definitely washed, but looked as if they could use new sets. There was a hole/leak in the bathroom that dripped when the upstairs apartment took a shower. NEEDS to be fixed before anyone else stays.
