O Hotel  

отель расположен в даунтауне в достаточно тихом месте. пешая доступность до хороших ресторанов, по соседству крупный универмаг майсис и спортивная арена, на которой каждый день происходят спортивные мероприятия или концерты. в отели очень стильное лобби и хороший ресторан с баром. очень приятно посидеть вечером у огромного дизайнерского камина. персонал в целом внимательный и дружелюбный. в номерах чисто. по вечерам в лобби баре и ресторане достаточно много модной молодежи.

в номерах присутствует какой-то несвежий запах. причем мы останавливались в нескольких номерах отеля, и во всех - зарах. хотя чистота - идеальная. нужно быть очень внимательным с парковкой возле отеля. мы оставили машину на семь минут для регистрации в лобби. результат: машину почти увезли на эвакуаторе, если бы я не заметил, то пришлось бы ехать за ней на такси. уговорил эвакуаторщика оставить ее на месте но пришлось заплатить штраф 225 usd плюс штраф за неправильную парковку 88 usd. персонал отеля видел, что мы приехали на машине но не предупредили нас что стоянка запрещена, хотя помочь уладить ситуацию с эвакуаторщиком попытались. после длинного перелета разбираться с запрещающими табличками не всегда с руки, поэтому надо быть внимательнее с табличками у дороги. очень много номеров окнами выходят на стенку соседнего здания, хотя это может быть даже и плюс - тихо в номере.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was good. Depending on where you were going in LA, you could get by without a car staying here since the Metro is so close.

The room was a bit dark. The wireless connection was somewhat unreliable.

The helpful and friendly nature of the staff from the font desk to the restaurant staff. The bartender in particular was personable and informative.The complimentary breakfast was good and the coffee was very good. The food the evening before was excellent.

the staff was excellent. very friendly and helpful. especially the front desk staff. the rooms were very comfortable. the location was unbeatable as we were attending a show at the staples center. being able to walk there and to grand hope park and many restaurants was terrific. the restaurant and bar in the hotel were also topnotch.

we could hear the music from the bar in our room until almost 2 am. we wanted quiet before that.

A very good location, near the Staples Center and walking distance to most downtown attractions.

My friend and I had booked a two twin bed room and upon our arrival they had given our room away and offered a one bed plus a roll out. They promised to have our room ready by 3 pm next day. Next day after checking out the city we came back to the hotel at 4pm and the room wasn't "ready". At this point I was frustrated and they once again promised to have the room ready by 10 pm. After dinner and visiting friends we came back to the hotel with our room now available. The hotel desk staff were very nice but seamed disorganized. They waived my 3 day "room service charge" which amounted to $36. The hotel also was short on cleaning staff for the rooms. We would wake up early in the morning, leave for the day, come back in the evening and the room wasn't cleaned. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast was poor and not to standard. Terrible orange juice.

I was in LA for a specific event--the Mark and Brian Christmas Show, which was held at the Nokia Theatre. My main concern for choosing a hotel was to be within walking distance to the Nokia. Of course, O Hotel was a perfect location. Much to my surprise, I was astounded by the bar/kitchen. I spent some time chatting with Adam, your mixologist, and had such a good time. I also enjoyed the food there. The room was small, but efficient, considering I was there for just overnight. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you so much! I will book at O Hotel again.

At 53 years old, the "uber-hipness" of the hotel was not my style. The staff more than made up for that small consideration.
