This resort was very enjoyable, down to that heart-shaped Jacuzzi! The kitchen was a kitchenette, but we didn't do much cooking. There was a grill on our private deck that we never used but will next time. I would definitely stay again!
I only wish that the coffeemakers were a little larger.
Bed was very comfortable & clean. Cabin was nice, loved fireplace & deck near the river. Could let 2 yr old be a 2 yr old.
Microwave had not been cleaned - burnt popcorn... Could have provided more dishes in the kitchen, perhaps small freezer in the fridge (colander for straining spaghetti). Wifi didn't work at the cabin we were in (furthest from the office)
Nice people, good location, you drop anchor there or hit the road knowing you have a nice place to come back to
I didn't book enough time there to really enjoy it.
The location and access to outside woodsy area and Oak Creek Fire place cozy Staff were awesome in providing us with the best
The location is great! We liked that it had a microwave and small refrigerator.
The unit we stayed in (#23) needs to be updated. Old carpet needs to be replaced. The bathroom needed to be totally redone, it's outdated. The tile was cracked on bathroom floor, bad grout job, not very clean. The unit smelled kind of smoky.
location View Parking Hot tub
kitchen lacked basics Kitchen was very dirty Lacked cutlery and crockery to a basic standard
Location. Ambiance. Price.
Uncomfortable seating in unit.
Room 23 has an unusual floor plan. One br has window unit air conditioner, small sink, fridge and a table. A folding door separates the 2nd br and also prevents any cool air from reaching 2nd br and bath. Person in front br has to go around bed in 2nd br to get to bath. Door is very squeaky and wakes those trying to sleep. Shower is so small you can't turn around. This room is the worst I have ever seen and I would never stay there again. Advertisement is deceiving.
The location in Oak Creek Canyon is fabulous. Not too far from uptown but yet far enough out of town to be in the woods. A quick breakfast at Dairy Queen was quite convenient.
The shower stall is very tiny and the pedestal sink doesn't leave much room to unpack toiletries.
Out of town so perhaps a bit quieter. The room we had was at road level, so not as good (but cheaper) than the others at a lower level behind.
A log burner in the room smelt excessively of tar, which gave my wife a headache until the staff produced a scent burner to counteract the appalling smell. A jacussi in the room also took up too much space; thus cramped for personal possessions. Nowhere to eat nearby; required a drive in to Sedona.
The location was top notch. The grounds were cute.
The carpet was awful. Bring flip flops. Tile or linoleum would be a better choice in a pet friendly lodging, but the bedding, bathroom, fridge and microwave were clean.
The drive from Sedona at night is dangerous. The room is deteriorating and in need of maintenance. The refrigerator needed to be defrosted and barely worked.
The location and atmosphere were great. You could walk outside and go down the hill to the creek and it was so peaceful with the water running in the background.
We stayed in room #10 which is very small. The bathroom was only 30 square feet in size. It was impossible to sit on the toilet in a normal way due to the sink cabinet being in the way. You had to twist yourself sideways in order to use the toilet. The shower stall was very small. It was like something out of a motor home or RV. The bathroom was certainly not designed for comfort.
The staff are friendly and very accommodating.
The room was filthy. Stains on carpet. Paint peeling off the walls. Bathroom was gross...hair on jacuzzi, in shower and all over bathroom walls
we liked being close to the creek. Nice to have a fireplace in the cabin. private balcony was nice
cabin was dated. could use a remodel, repaint. you could see where the cabin hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, in a while. shower was made for small children not adults.
Liked the two room arrangement and jetted bath.
We left before dawn and the area from my room approaching the parking lot was pitch black and I fell over a large terracotta pot placed in between two pillars that were at the end of the walkway. I advised the mgmt. Of this situation to which they said they were sooo sorry.
location and access to oak creek
unit 12 no closet or hanger
This property allows you to feel like you own a cabin in the forest. Great little bungalow.....with a kitchen and large deck with bbq. Perfect for our little dog. The property also has a little creek flowing through and is right across the street from a Dairy Queen and a small market of local crafts.
The toilet sometimes had trouble flushing.....
Location and grounds Comfortable bed
Room was so small that there was no room for luggage storage. The bathroom was also very small with no counter space.
Working fireplace supplied with Duraflame log, matches Gas grill on private balcony with comfortable seating, all the dishes, utensils etc to cook nearly anything; a bag of microwave popcorn- my husbands fav nighttime snack, was even provided! Sleeping with the balcony door open, to the sounds of the rushing water, fire going, and a comfy bed. #11 as great view!
Carpet around the jacuzzi grosses me out, however it did not smell. It's just knowing how many times the older, commercial style carpet has been wet..... We would stay there again though!
The location Grounds are beautiful Very comfortable bed Everything was perfect
Nothing to not like
We found this deal on Booking.com and we couldn't be happier with our selection. The location is GORGEOUS situated right at the opening of Oak Creek Valley. The porch swings and lawn chairs are so relaxing and the room was an incredible value!! The fireplace and the jacuzzi were an excellent bonus! We will definitely come back!!!
There is almost no sink/vanity space in the bathroom but it's a small trade off for the jacuzzi tub!
Quiet property. Liked creek access.
Nothing. Well that creek & slide rock were closed.
Location location location! !!
Carpet by the jacuzzi....bad bad idea. Needs to be replaced by laminate or tile
