Room was great , easy In and easy out, close to the fox theatre.
Very nice staff and the beds are like sleeping on clouds...
The location and room location was great and the view was excellent. I loved the lounge area and the staff was great.
No free WIFI and the television selections were horrible. I've never stayed at a hotel with no pay per view was offered. Also the bathroom was really small. The elevators took forever to come up/down. Had to wait for the elevator almost 10mins each time used Fri-Sun.
Valet driver damaged the car, told me a rate that was not the actual rate.
- Friendly staff at breakfast - free WIFI at lobby
- $10 for Wifi at the room - expensive parking fee - noise from freeway
Right down townOakland
Key to the roomdidn't work three times
The beds were comfortable & the blankets were amazing! Made the stay worth it!
The air conditioner was extremely loud every time it automatically turned on & the room was too warm to leave it off. The sounds wad Soooo loud it sounded like a helicopter taking off in the room! I called the front desk in the middle of the night & even complained.
We reserved for two couples who were speaking at our conference in Oakland - they loved the accommodations, the proximity to downtown Oakland, the plushness of the amenities
prices in restaurant were too high
Concierge Room is a plus!
Brilliant service at check-in. Great SFO views from room. Bed wonderful.
No area available to change into travel clothes after storing bag on leaving day.
Check-in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Clean room King bed Corner room/quiet $132 per night was a good deal considering we booked 30 min before arriving.
Room was not cleaned after our first night. Valet parking was expensive. Not many options besides valet if you have a car.
Easily rode BART to very near the campus; parking was inside the garage/hotel complex. Comfortable room with a view was a bonus.
Breakfast seemed expensive, so we ate at Gabriela's Coffee right across the street - which was excellent.
Location, nice staff
Rooms small, no ammeneties ie no pay per view tv, no breakfest expensive parking
Location was awesome. ....price was great staff was wonderful. ..will always stay here
The only problem I had with this hotel was that there wasn't a hot tub in the pool area.
After hours restaurant .
I like this neighborhood, there's some good food around here like Cock-a-doodle cafe for brunch, an italian cafe 817. The hotel is conveniently located near the 12th Street BART STATION, but this is a sketchy area at night and people should avail themselves of the hotel services of picking them up and bringing them back to the hotel. However, I was not informed of that service until after my husband and I were held up at gun point at night around the corner from the Bart station.
My husband and I were held up at gun point late at night around the corner from the near by 12th Street Bart Station. Even though there were 2 police cars around the corner, and I was screaming at the top of my lungs, no one helped us. BE CAREFUL AT NIGHT and use the hotel's pick-up system.
Great clean hotel and save a few bucks by not being in the middle of SF.
Too many bums in the area but I guess you can't really escape them in SF
Value was terrific! San Francisco hotel prices in August are outrageous Oakland is a great alternative.
My ONLY request for this hotel was A QUIET room. Instead, our next door neighbors were very young, and very loud from 115 am until 4 am we were exhausted. Called front desk, initially taken care of then started up again with no follow up
Never even went to room
I booked the room wanting 2 beds and online there were 2 beds shown. This was for myself and a friend I would not share a bed with. When I checked in they only had a king and an air bed. And Air bed was NOT acceptable! And then after I found a room at a different hotel it took me 30 minutes to get checked out and get verification that I would not be charged. And the girl I dealt with moved very slow and was rude.
The staff was great.
Was told I could get a roll away but got to the hotel and they ran out of beds. Then was told I could get a air mattress but call to get the air bed and they ran out of them.
Liked the service. Liked the location.
Room was not fully cleaned. They sold out double beds after i requested it a week in advance. The bed they brought up to the room for my disabled son was uncomfortable, large and dirty.
The food at the bar wasn't that good. No microwaves in room
