The Oasis is in a convenient central location and has available parking. Kind of a a retro, mid-century look to the building and design which adds to its charm.

I was initially placed in a room on the top floor, which I later found out was directly under the rooftop HVAC equipment. There was a constant roar the entire night which earplugs helped with, but didn't really eliminate. The next day I was moved to another room which was mercifully quiet.

The location of the Oasis Inn is great! We were minutes away from the civic center and shopping district, and had two muni stops only a block away. You can't beat the price....especially for San Francisco.

The hotel doesn't have AC. This wouldn't really be an issue depending on the weather in the city, but on a hot day it would not be comfortable. We opened our window and that allowed for a nice breeze to come in and cool down the room. Unfortunately that also meant that all the loud noises of the city now flooded our room. We are pretty easy going and actually didn't mind the noise after a while, but if your a picky sleeper then you might want to ask for a room that isn't open to the street.

Good location, Close to all amenities in San Fran, Good price also. Rooms were nice and big.

The staff were offended to help you at times, but you can get around that as with anywhere you might go in the world.

I choose this place because it has parking.

I asked to use the microwave at the reception and found many cockroaches inside.

I liked that they had a hot tub however wish it was opperational.

The lobby was small and when you waited for the elevater you felt like you were being watched.

Been there many times its clean inexpensive and after all in a town like s.f. You only need a comfy bed as there is so much to do,buses real close and secure garage for your cars

No coffee making facilities in the room San Francisco hills were an ordeal for me

Staff were friendly, and the off street, secure parking was very welcome.

Extremely basic, no breakfast, no fridge, and loads of things broken in room. WiFi was chargeable ($2), so we didn't bother paying for it. By comparison, our 8 other motels on the trip didn't charge for Wireless Internet access. Unfortunately the hotel was also in a bad area, and we had a very scary walk back to it, at only 9PM on the evening.

Good value for money at fine location. All parts of San Francisco are within reach from the Franklin/Eddy crossing. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for a stay of a few days. Parking is provided aand included in the price.

Even though the location is very central in SF, the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is not so nice. Take a taxi back to the hotel at night (if you can find one). Wifi did not work in the room itself.

Rooms at the front get all the traffic sounds...sirens, included.

The location was fantastic (within walking distance of the sfmoma and Japantown) and the room was comfortable and quirky...just the way we like it.

I've stayed at the Oasis and I like the location, the free parking, and the smoking rooms.

Since I'd been there before, I knew what to expect. I wish there were coffee makers in the room.

The hotel is well-located, clean and well-priced.

Wireless lan was not always functional, reception forgot to call one morning for wake-up, reception called taxi too early, so I was charged by taxi for waiting time.
