We wanted to tour the Alamo. Spent about 2 1/2 hours on the tours & watching the movie, wonderful. Enjoyed Boudro's Tex/Mex food on the magnificent Riverwalk after river tour, all just a few short blocks from our Hotel. Sa people were very friendly. We have booked 12 hotels thru Booking.com throughout France and Florida in past 3 yrs. All wonderful experiences & as expected & very good. Booked O'Brien for 3 nights,& booking.com confirmed. O'Brien put final invoice under door after 2 nights. Asked front desk about booking, 2 people at desk said 2 nights was what we had. Rather than argue, we changed shuttle & plane res & came home early. I will find 7 carry a phone # for booking to carry on next trips to solve any issues.

I slept on the floor. I served 28 years in the us Army and we had better rooms. I will never stay there again or recommend this hotel to no one. Room smelled awful and I told the manager, she just ignored me. 15Th & Saturday 16th $205. I slept on the floor Bith daysYou could smell the sewerage, and bad air condition problems, whirl pool bath tub filthy, vert high off floor could not shower because I am 5ft tall. They said they were over booked to move me. Bed sheets had a lot if body hair and smell human odor. They charged me for Friday $185 &

Location. Parking.. In line to check-in with one person ahead and computer goes down. The staff person checking in was frustrated per her voice tone told me I would need to come back later unable to check us in. So I ask about parking? She stated the parking across the street for the hotel was already full and would need to park across the street corner lots. So I ask How much is there charge? She said she didn't know. So if your lucky enough to get there 13 spots you pay 10.00 The hotel has 39 rooms?? After being there couple of days and walking by front desk we hear there 's also parking in the rear?? The staff person checking in never said a word about rear parking? Anyway we parked across the street corner lot and the whole time prayed no one would break into our vehicle as it was just a public parking lot.

Location of the hotel is within easy walking distance to the River Walk. The rooms are recently remodeled and well-appointed. Everything you need at a reasonable price compared to similar hotels in the same area. Hotel is nice but bear in mind it is still quite basic - parking is charged at an additional fee and is in a lot opposite the hotel. Breakfast is along the lines of what you get at Super 8, La Quinta and the like (but rooms are much nicer).

Perfect location with comfortable rooms It was horribly noisy at night. We especially requested (via booking.com) a quiet room. We got the noisiest - the breakfast lobby was outside our door, so were the lifts. Our room was on the second floor facing the street (with heavy traffic through the night). We hardly slept. Either booking.com are not handing on requests or the hotel is ignoring them..

It was a terrible stay. It was so loud from traffic it was unreal. I asked to be moved, but there were no avaialable rooms. The coffee machine did not work. There was a homeless man begging for money, when we did not give it to him, he began flipping us off and then threw 25 cent to us in the lobby area. It was not worth the stay.

We loved the staff, Delissa, Debra, Megan, and Arthur, they are the best! So helpful and friendly. We loved the location, the cleanliness, the very nice renovation that was done, and the furnishings and carpeting. The rooms are nicely done, with plenty of amenities. I liked the details, all the little touches. The rooms were really, really clean, the sheets fresh and crisp, the mattress and pillows very comfortable. I really enjoyed the balcony with the view, and the wrought iron tables and chairs, especially the glider chairs, I had not seen those before. I do with the room had had a small refrigerator, that would have been nice. They did keep some food for us downstairs behind the desk in the lobby for us tho, that was nice.

I really liked the ability to be close to the Riverwalk as well as the Alamo Dome for the Marching Championships. The staff were a big help in all areas of information, courtesy, and accommodation. The only thing I would mention would be the parking issue. There are apparently 19 spots for approximately 30+ rooms. In our instance, we had worked it out with the front desk where we would be able to park in the staff spot and they would block the entrance. This seems to be a common practice.
