Very clean property, 1 minute walk to boardwalk and beach. Friendly and accomadating owner and staff. Free parking within 50 feet of hotel.

The place was very welcoming, with a homey kind of charm. We were welcomed and given all the advice we needed for our stay, where to eat, what to do, etc. I would definitely stay there again. Love the location, and the place was so clean! Love it!

My daughter had stayed at the hotel with friends about 2 years ago and upon entering the receptionist remembered her and her name. I had only made the reservation about 1/2 hour before leaving for the beach and they were very accommodating. The hotel was clean and friendly.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Parking right behind the hotel was convenient. The room was very clean and the overall appearance of the hotel was very neat and clean and organized.

I'm not a fan of stand-up showers.

From the staff to the location and everything in between I'd stay here again in a heart beat. Great place well worth the money.

Hotel was just great! When we arrived, we enjoyed taste and smell of freshly baked cookies and overall hotel was smelling very good, which is something very valuable I would say. Our room on 3rd floor was very nice, enough space, nice bed, very clean bathroom, we had tv and fridge. Also there were magazines to read in the reception room. Location was great, just few minutes from beach and at the same time not very near to amusement park, which meant quiet evening to sleep peacefully. But it was not the season yet :) I would say hotel is totally great place to spend whole week vacation, though we stayed only one night. We enjoyed a lot our breakfast coffee on balcony in front of hotel. It was also great that hotel offered free parking spot.

Only thing that can be improved: my husband woke up very early morning because the light was too strong even with window covers. I guess one extra non-transparent curtain would help.

This hotel was family friendly and clean. We felt safe and it was convenient to the beach, boardwalk and shopping. A few things that were negative, no breakfast, no electrical plug or vent in our bathroom, no elevator, had to lug our things up to the 2nd floor, although we were offered help. We would probably stay there again, but with so many other choices in Ocean City, probably not. For what I paid for a 4 day stay I was kinda bummed, although I booked a month before our stay so that's most likely why it cost so much. Next year I will book early and save on the hotel fee!!

The hotel was very clean and safe. Everyone working there was very friendly and willing to go out of the way to assist. Rooms had books with Ocean City information that proved helpful during our stay. Towels were replenished frequently. It was close to the boardwalk and the beach. It was a family establishment.

Rooms were a little small and outdated, but they were worth it for cleanliness, price, and hospitality. The shower temperature proved a little tricky to secure, but with little effort, it worked perfectly fine.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. I felt very comfortable there. I don't know if others will understand but I did not feel like a customer; I felt like a welcomed guest at a bed and breakfast (sans breakfast). The hotel, though older, is well kept and it is very clean. It was also quiet at night so I was able to relax and enjoy the evening as much as the day. Location is great... One block to the beach in the downtown area so there are good places to eat and visit nearby. The price is fair. I think it is a great value. Would definitely stay there again next time I visit Ocean CIty.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The refrigerators and microwaves in the room are great. Quiet atmosphere.

Be sure to ask for a bathtub if you have small kids, not all rooms have them. Rooms are small and there are minimal amenities - no pool, no hairdryers/shampoo/conditioner, but some things are available at the front desk.

John at the front desk was so great! He answered any questions that we had and really went out of his way to make us feel welcome there!

The beds could be a little more comfortable but its not a big deal. It should be known that it is a smaller hotel and everything can be heard so its not totally the place to go if you plan on going out late and coming back loud. Otherwise its great!

The staff was friendly and courteous. It felt cozy and welcoming. The location and value for the money were great.

I love staying at the King Charles Hotel. It is my home away from home when I am on vacation. The owner and staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond what is expected. The rooms are extremely clean! There is off street parking available which is hard to find in Ocean City. The walk to the beach is very short and the hotel is centrally located. Each time I visit Ocean City I plan to stay at the King Charles. There is no other place I would rather stay!
