Located across the street from the beach, this Cape May motel is within a 5-minute walk of Lake View Park. The motel features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 107 reviews Very good
Lovely view of the ocean, well-located away from the main center of activity in Cape May, but yet within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds, no trouble with the wi-fi.
Hotel is rather expensive for not including breakfast with a night's stay. The restaurant is very over-priced for the food served, particularly for breakfast, and the service was slow. Options are limited in the off-season.
Helpful staff, clean rooms and a fantastic view of the ocean. What more do I need!
Location is key!
The tiny bathroom. Too much square footage used in Living Room which with the view is hardly used. The bathroom is too small for even the shower....
Like location and view.
Air condition is noisy.
The pool and bar area was great, room was clean and comfortable. Right across from the ocean with a small balcony so had a good view. Shower worked with decent pressure. Staff was very helpful.
Was a little pricey but seemed within reason in comparison. Room A/C was not great but worked.
Hotel was very clean. We loved the room.
My husband who is a PA State Police was not granted the military discount. Every place, that we have been to before, extends the military discount to State Police. We came on this little vacation because our vacation out west was cancelled because my husband was deployed to participate in the Eric Frein sear and returns two days after we return. Sad that his service, dedication, and protection is not appreciated nor valued.
Ocean view was fabulous and peaceful
loved the cleanliness, the room was absolutely beautiful..comfortable, updated
choice of restaurants,
The rooms are clean, TV Channels are good, bed is very comfortable. It is an easy walk downtown
The front desk staff is not very engaging. The second floor room was right above the Tiki Bar, the noise wasn't bothersome but the cigarette smoke was. We were on the 4th floor last year and the view is much better.(obviously) The entire property should be non smoking.
Room location Tiki Bar Music Comfort of Bed Cleanliness
The view was spectacular
Rooms a bit small
too expensive for off season and no microwave in room.
Ocean view, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Meals and dining service excellent!
Noisy A/C unit when cycling on/off. Otherwise very nice.
Restaurant/ Pool(Bar)/ Beach Amenities/ Rooms/ Bedding/ Location/ View
Pool was good SeaSalt Restaurant Comfortable Beds Good Beach Service Good Location Housekeeping Was Good Right across from beach Ocean view room had an amazing view
Air conditioning was poor Only one elevator Breakfast not included in price No fitness room on site Bathroom was too small
The location and food were great. Great waitress at the poor bar her name was Plumeria. Very customer focused.
Some of the staff weren't very friendly at the front desk and the pool guy John was obnoxious and way too rigid.
Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. Service was very good. Beach set up with lounge chairs and food service is great. all employees were friendly
I didn't see the pool get cleaned at all and we had a pool front view. Also, may need a second elevator as they were always packed tight.
I think it was over priced! Not worth 589 a night!
The dining room was well staffed and the service was excellent .We needed a different room and that was taken care of with no fuss.We had a great time in Cape May and were pleased with our hotel .
We had to buy a pass for the beach.
Liked location. A few blocks away from the main stretch of hotels so beach was much less crowded. Hotel staff on the beach were great. Food at hotel .... Sea Salt ... Was top notched. A bit expensive but worth the price in quality and superb taste. An ingenious chef and kitchen staff. Front desk staff very attentive and very quick in supplying us with more towels and other requests. Sheets were of fine quality and loved the feather duvet. Cleaning staff did an excellent job. Very quiet in the rooms. I know that there were families with infants and small children in the rooms next to us and I never heard any noise through the walls.
Not that we watched much tv but there was no channel quide or info on TV screen while changing channels. Wished that the room's refridgator was a little larger. Wished ice machines were on every floor. Found the pillow top bed to be a bit lumpy and did not like pillows but that could be just my personal preference. There really was not much to dislike about this hotel.
Location was great. And modern and clean!
A little expensive. Didn't know about hotel tax surcharge and state charges. Tacked on another $50 or so dollars a night!
Air conditioning needs work - loud banging noise when it turns non and off. Not a good value for the money. Would not go back.
Nice pool area and view of the ocean. Good food at the hotel restuarant.Towel and chairs available to all guests on the beach. Trolley pick up right outside property.
Room was smaller than I thought for the price.
Beautiful pool and bar area, great service there. Right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to other restaurants.
I know Cape May at the height of the season is pricey, but for almost $500 a night I expected better. The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice though very small balcony. The room is set up to accommodate 4 people yet the bathroom was very small, no counter space at all. Shower was a good size but no tub. The biggest downside was just a general feeling in the rest of the building of being old and run down. The lobby was ok but the elevator was so small, very slow, and stuck in a corner with two service doors and a back door to the building right there. You could hardly stand and wait for this insanely slow elevator without being bumped into by staff going in and out of these other doors. It was awful. The corridors to the rooms are one wall of glass overlooking the parking lot with painted cement floors. At this price I expect more class, marble and chandelier in the lobby with a bank of elevators, etc, this place was just a regular old family beach hotel yet cost a fortune. They need to remodel the entire lobby and fix the elevator situation. I would not go back there at those prices.
Across the street from the beach, two room suite, king size bed and beddings were excellent, and has a restaurant down stairs. Also has private parking lot.Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Doesn't have a bathtub in room for small children, doesn't have room service must go down to pick up food.Didn't really care for tiki bar at pool open to any one off the street.(not really safe for small children).I paid 3,000.00 for 6 day stay between taxes and fee's, would have been nice if they included beach passes.
