No parking arrangement for handicap. Parking far from rooms when you have luggage. Bad lighting on road way leading into villages. Too dark at night.
The location on the Cape was excellent. Nice facilities in the villa I rented. The furnishings are starting to get worn but they are still very nice. The villa had a decent kitchen with everything except an oven, as well as a stackable washer/dryer.
They should have a bit of laundry detergent as well as some dishwashing soap to get you started.
Rooms were supurb, spacious and comfortable.
Although the hotel had 1 bar and 2 restaurants spread over two sites, choice was limited.
Many activities required you to drive on property to use them such as the pools and hot tubs. Queen size bed only available. Isolated location...you wouldn't know that you were on Cape Cod. High price for off-season. Had to leave early and no refund or adjustment was allowed, not even the "service" charge for the day we were not there! I still have no idea what "service" we got for the first day for an additional $25. Accommodations were on the golf course, but our room afforded us no view. Accommodations were nice but nothing special considering the price we paid.
Nice size living room, kitchen, bedroom with lots of light. Good view. Played golf and went to Chatham so location of condo was excellent for us
bed was very saggy so we didn't sleep well at all. 23C - you should get the mattress or whatever replaced
The room was nice enough - not luxurious, but very comfortable and clean and well maintained. It was nice to have a kitchen facility in the room.
I am not a golfer, so did not use the main feature of this hotel. I did not like being so far from the main building. People should note that the "villages" - the condo complex in which my room was placed, are over a mile from the main building which has the bar, big restaurant and the pool. This is not a short walk back to the room. You either have to drive or wait for a shuttle.
Nicely decorated rooms within a lovely resort with great leisure facilities. We only stayed one night but would have liked to have stayed for longer to take advantage of all the leisure facilities.
Our room was located a couple of miles away from the main hotel/beach which was not made clear when booking.
golf course, location, staff
bed was not very comfortable
The facilities were very comfortable and it was just like staying in a friend's apartment.
It was very difficult to find the pools. There were few staff members available to help direct. Parts of the grounds were available to only a certain level of customer. The beach is beautiful but it is difficult to reach with disability.
stuff at reception, golf course and other facilities, location...great place to take a rest
beaches were not well equipped and difficult/impossible to park the car...if you have noisy neighbours you will either not sleep soon or wake up very soon...:-( but overall very nice and good place to stay and I can imagine to came back once more even though we do not usually go to the same place again
Everything! The resort was spacious and you really felt like you were at an exclusive remote destination resort but yet centrally located. There was much attention to detail in all aspects of the resort community
Loved the golf, tennis, restaurants, biking trails andthe BEST bagels at Jo Mamas!
Rooms needed updating. Limited views.
overpriced accommodations are old, worn, and and in need of a serious upgrade. Sliding Glass door blinds in bedroom needed to be fixed was not fixed. Lack of beach access for guests on golf course side of the property.
Nice facilities, great pools for the kids. Walking out during low tide on the bay side was a nice treat for the kids
Nothing particular stands out
Poor service on arrival. We arrived to be told we were booked in for 3 nights not 4 as expected. I had confirmation from the hotel that I has booked for 4 nights but was told to contact booking.com to sort it out. I tried to contact booking.com but was unable to so went back to reception and spoke to someone else who eventually sorted it out. Since I have returned home and checked my payment I can see that I paid in full for 4 nights a week before my arrival. I emailed the hotel to explain my irritation but have heard nothing. Poor service. Would I return no as I do of think it is very good value for money
The workers at the hotel are always wonderful We see many of them every year.
We did not get the room we were promised, the front desk cleark Jade was rude. Our room was in the back of East Wing where we were awaken with an industrial lawnmower at 7:30 am. There was no bottled water in the room. The airconditioner went on and off all night so that we couldn't sleep. The outdoor heated pool closed one hour after getting there for a function. Once we were in the ppol there was so much junk, bloddy bandages and rocks at the bottom of the pool that most of us decised not to go on. The Hot tub was just disgusting. There were no towels there when we got there. This was the first 2 hours. Should I go on?
location facilities such as tennis & pool
room carpets were smelly
The hotel was great and staff was very friendly.
We thought golf prices were steep for Ocean edge guest. It should have been discounted.
Noisy room, young children were playing on upper level
Nice having a kitchen, enough space for all of us. An extra child cost $35 a day for a cot, and a one bedroom suite was only four two adults, two children.
The villages, where we stayed, we very removed from any activities at the "mansion", and there is this weird segregated feeling. Units are kind of dated. Arbor Pool is crowded and noisy.
I liked the room, the decoration of the room and the golf was nice. The beaches are beautiful however there was no access to the mansion beach so you had to take the car. Shuttle service is really nice.
No shutters to sleep so light gets in, noisy as people on top of us, expensive for breakfast. No healthy option to eat around the area.
We loved all the activities on the resort: pools, kids' club, tennis, golf, biking, organised family activities, shuttle to beach, and the great and varied choice of restaurants in the area.
We didnt like the queen beds in 1 bdrm suites. Would really like king beds. And for such a well-equipped resort, the pool towels were sub standard. Small, thin and the pool ran out of them daily by 1pm!!! Pools could have been a little warmer!
locations and large space of the facility , nicely spread out and well looked after service very friendly
slightly negative no cell phone reception in or around our room/villa which should not happen but not under the control of the resort
