Hotel Ocean  

It was in the middle of south beach

It smelled like raw sewage in the room and the ice machine was outside in the back alley. Unsafe and u healthy. There was a fire door that leaded to a stairwell and the doors to both those staircases didn't lock.

It has a very good location. Right on the South Beach. The Penthouse Suite has an awesome large balcony with Sea View. Large room and living area. I stayed during umf and still found value for money.

They had a microwave but no glasses or mugs or plates or bowls. Very odd. Lift door directly opens in the room. All curtains were broken so could not sleep as Morning Sun was directly on the bed.

The room was very spacious.

Free use of bicycles during our stay.

No coffee pot, cups, glasses, etc in the room. My wife was concerned about the exit doors from the room that emptied onto escape stairs and was worried about people being able to get into our room. Very aggressive restaurant people attempting to get you to eat there. I thought I was in Mexico or some other foreign country as they would not take no for an answer.

The staff was very helpful.

The noise but next time I won't book my whole vacation in south beach.

Location. Room was spacious. Very comfortable bed.

Customer service is super. Good breakfast (the same everyday) if you like light breakfast. Very tasty pastries.

Loved the location and the european feel

Old -needs updating, water pressure was terrible--just trickled out of faucet--very difficult to shower--no hot water, found dust in every corner of the room, had a very nice counter/refrigerator area, however, no glasses, paper towels, etc. -- disappointed in all these features

This is a value for money hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. The hotel does excellent music at night but it does finish by 11ish. Breakfast value for money.

Wish we had been told tea and coffee facilities in reception, only slight query.

Good location

Owners clearly aren't willing to spend $$$ for good remodel and upkeep. The tile work looked like a monkey did it AWFUL!!!...gum stuck on the fifth floor landing floor. Never cleaned.. No bathmats! Marginal TV...no cable...marginal wifi

I can't say I liked anything about it. Worst experience, for the money I spent I could of stayed at the fountain blue or the Eden roc and had way better service!

I got there at 7pm, check in was at 4pm. When I arrived the front desk told me that the elevator was broken so I had to walk through a dirty stairway that was where employees entered once we walked about 5 flights of stairs I see my room has no door nob they were working on it? Why it wasn't ready at check in beats me. So the women had us standing there for about 20 min while she went to look for maintance. I started to play with the unfinished nob and got us in the room. An hour passed and no one came to check on us. So I called the front desk and she said since we learned how to get in, she just left us there. I she didn't bother to knock check f we were okay nor call maintance to fix the lock that wasn't even on the door. It was my boyfriend suprise gift, and it was prob the worst. After telling the front desk about all this bad service she did nothing to help us out nor make our stay any better. Vallet was very expensive and it took me about 40 min to get my car. They have the worst service never plan on staying in one of those small hotels. There is no management you can reach. And they simply suck. Do not stay here!!!!!!

Clean simple great view nice courtyard - I would stay there again

Restaurant not affiliated to hotel but in front of it - rude, a ripoff, tried to charge me more for wine I ordered. I did not pay what they wanted but I am not a tourist. All those restaurants on ocean drive on the sidewalk are a disgrace

I liked that there was a park directly across the street. I had a problem with the television and they rectified it by changing my room and helped move my things. The staff was very obliging and there was a very good restaurant on the premises.

There was loud music untill 11 oclock. But it was a excellent location and I would stay there again.

Very dirty rooms, room service comes at 5pm without set of clean towels, very poor bed lining and very old matras

Found a bug, noisy in hall at 3am. Was not tenant was service staff. Additional per person fee for unused breakfast service.

Staff

Staff of the hotel was very friendly. You can come and drink a cup of coffee or orange juice with cookies whenever you want (not only during breakfast) The hotel is small, but very cosy. I felt really nice there

In hotel description there was a phrase that you can take bicycle in a hotel, but when we came there were no bicycles there.

The location is fantastic ! Opposite the beach! Round te corner to all the shops clubs beach bars ! where it's happening in Miami :)They also offer free each towels and beach chairs and they also offer free bikes to use which is a must in Miami to move around ! room was massive nice and spacious

The decor was old but they were refurbishing while we were staying ! the music is extremely loud from the restaurant below especially if ur not in Miami to go wild and for the night life ! Started at 11.30 am until 1am . didn't bother us as we tried to be out before and after. Be aware of extra tax and service charges ! like elsewhere in America !

On peut apprecier la grandeur de la chambre... Leur patio qui est sublime! La plage a quelques pas... Shopping a proximite!

Le petit dej vraiment naze par rapport a l'hotel! Le bruit tous les soirs jusqu'a 1 hr du matin. Donc je deconseille pour les familles avec enfants
