I didnt like the fact that when I checked in they took a fee of $100 and I was told that I would get refunded back the day I check out....... When I checked out they told me the fee will take 2-5 business days!!!!!!!

Location was perfect. Place was quiet at night. Bedding was confortable enough. Staff was friendly.

I liked that they had plates, forks, etc & everything was clean. The staff was very friendly & they responded quickly to any issues we had. The location was perfect & the stores & restaurant in front were very convenient.

Parking sucked..we parked about 5 blocks away & paid $16 a day.

Like everyone who takes the time to write this reveiw, I liked the location. The two ladies who works the morning shift are excellent. I like the 24 hour convinence store attached to the hotel and the cafe tables outside.The kitchen in the room is a huge perk considering that south beach restaurants are expensive. I picked up some groceries and made wraps for lunch most of the week. Ate out for dinner most nights. A case of water in the room and lots of beer helped us limit the cash we spent during the daytime beach hours. They were even able to valet my Limousine. I've been to Miami a few dozen times and none of the more expensive hotels could valet my limo and for only $45 a day...and I could take it out as many times as I wanted without any extra fees. I also like that they offered to clean my room every day and the maids cleaned with bleach.

The previous reviews I read when I booked this reservation made me walk into this hotel really wanting to hate it but the staff was so awesome. I didn't like was that they don't serve breakfast in the morning. I didn't like the (for lack fo a better word) Gay dude that works the evening shift but even he eventually warmed up to us. I think his vernacular can easyly be mistaken for a attitude but the dude seemed kinda cool towards the end of our trip.

The hotel was centrally located and the staff was approachable, professional and helpful. The rooms and kitchen were in good condition.

The bathroom was a lot to be desired. The tubs need to be updated in the room to match the room. Also, the water temperature was very spotty.

Check-in process took way to long. Should be a credit card and you're good to go.

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms were dirty. Bathrooms even worse. The bed broke during while sound asleep. I am suing.

The place should be shutdown.

It was close to the beach.

We were up all night because of the noise from the floor above. When we finally asked for assistance from the "service" desk around two am she responded by telling us she didn't believe anyone would be making noise as loud as what we were describing. Yes that was her actual response. When we checked in we were told the hotel did wake up calls so we asked for one for our very early flight. No wake up call came; no apology when we asked why; no explanation or smile either. No greeting, smile or thank you when we were leaving. The could not have made it more clear they couldn't have cared less for our business nor if we enjoyed our stay nor if we would ever return...which is pretty obvious...

The room was roomy and the bed was good. The location was great. Very close to the beach.

The clerk at the desk was not friendly or courteous. When I would smile or greet him coming and going he did not return my greeting or smile. He did roll his eyes though. The staff was obnoxiously loud right above our room cleaning extremely early in the morning. Also, I understand the reasons for check in times, but the clerk was very very strict not to allow us to check in early whatsoever... The third time we tried to check in we had to wait thirty minutes. The bathroom toilet leaked water out. I didn't bring this to the clerks attention so to avoid any further interaction with him.

Corridors and bathrooms need renovation......but good for the price. Why pots and pans when no cooker?

Location is the only good thing about Ocean Reef Suites. I will not be coming there again.

I was sincerely suprised, when after tipping the reception girl and asking to call for a taxi in advance, I had to find out at 4 A.M. that my taxi to airport has not been ordered. The new guy at the desk said he did not care about what happened and that he would not call his colleague, could not help me out and actually asked to shut up. So rude!

Close to the beach.

The hotel is dirty. You find hairs everywhere (towels and linens). The bathroom is small. If you have a room close to the road it will be very loud because the windows are old and not noise-proved. The air in the room smells very strange. The A/C is very loud.

Dirty rooms, lots of dust. Average hotel. Lots of noise because of renovations.

Location close to the beach and to the Ocean Drive Avenue in South Miami Beach

Modest roomservice, In some rooms very lound sound of air conditioning and ice maschines from nearby shops, No own parking possibilities and therefore rather expensive valet parking - 20$/day + tipps.

It was very central to everything on South Beach, Room was big enough for four adults. Although we were not there long enough to use the kitchen facilities I am sure we would have had we stayed longer, Staff were very helpful. Would recommend.

The fact that the cleaning of the corridor's carpet was probably not vacuum for months, causing allergy from the moment that I would walk in. The cleaning personnel would come to clean past 3 or 4 PM when I was resting. The nbathtub was old and stained and they charged me the deposit for damamge that was there already. The recepcionist that did the checkout had a poor attitude.

Excelente localização. Apenas uma rua da Ocean Drive. Perto de lojas. Em baixo do hotel tem um mercadinho que funciona 24horas . Pessoal muito gentil.

De carregar mala até o pavimento superior até onde estava o meu ap. Pois não tem elevador, nem quem carregue as malas.

Não há area de desembarque, vc precisa carregar suas malas da rua, em fila dupla, subir escadas, pois não tem elevador, as paredes são extremamente finas, vc está dormindo e ouvindo tudo que acontece no hotel, mesmo sendo o chão carpetado, vc escuta todos que chegam e passam pelo corredor, a mala não roda no carpet e vc precisa carregar malas e, quem já foi à Miami sabe que se compra muito, então mala com 32 quilos é normal!!! Pensa no peso!!!!
