OceanView Motel    

The lady at the desk was informative about where to eat and the best places and was very nice.

The room was old, dirty and did not appear sanitary. Location was poor. Advertised with ocean view. Oh no, no ocean view from our room.. The bed was horrible compared to other motels.

The owners upgraded my room to a King Size bed room free of charge. The room was clean, spacious, and You could see the glimpse of the ocean across the highway

The noise from the highway was quite high.

Room was clean and comfortable.

No Ocean View & Dirty worn out carpet. Not enough towels. No continental breakfast. TV no music channel and Limited station selections.

Unfriendly staff, currently under going renovations, noisy, refrig and AC didn't work, carpet is duct taped down in room.

The host were the very best imaginable. They were always caring and wanted to know if we were comfortable. The room was immaculate and cleaned daily. Fresh towels and linens daily. The host had a snack of some kind along with some mints, and a coffee maker to make fresh coffee in the morning or whenever. I most definitely would recommend this place for anyone. Mr. Vance W. I enjoyed the owners and how helpful they were to me. Also, the convenience of location to my doctors; family members and airport.

The motel was comfortable,had an elevator, and was close to beach attractions. Pop corn was provided.

Like the big flat screen TV Close to the beach & some family town restaurants.

Hot tube did not work. Need to clean the sofa/chairs.

I should get a lawyer. Dirty, delapadated, holes in the bedding, bad attutude of owner at check-in, cigarette marks on th bathtub, refrigerator plug was frayed, rusty vents, dirty and worn carpet, no kleenex, cheap toilletries, crappy television, a real shit box. I took pictures, wanna see them? Booking.Com, never again. You should refund my money.

Location, location, location and accessability to beaches, freeways, family, friends and business locations.

Limitations for disabled persons in regards to parking and elevator location

Family run, recently upgraded, clean, refurbished, partial ocean view, great value. Will stay there again when the need arises.

The rain was loud on PCH the night I stayed but since that happens twice a year in L A, not a problem.

The hotel was sooooooo nice!!! Several appliances are setted up, I used them to make my dinner The room has almost things that common visitors need If I need to go to travel that area,I will book the hotel again with no questions

It was simple. The rooms are huge, but the beds and bathrooms are worth it as far as size. But beware of an early checkin fee that I was not aware of! I even called and was not told of the few before hand.

For as big as the furnishing was the actual room could have beena little larger. Other than the room served its purpose of a place to stay for the night.

Price, location & STAFF :) You just can't BEAT the price of this establishment!!! It's literally a 'diamond' hidden in the SoCal coastal rough. The rooms are spotless & hospitality... impeccable!! Thank you OceanView Motel... I WILL be BACK!!!

Sreet noise :(... Motel sits on very BUSY highway so understandable. Double pane windows might be helpful :)

All of the hotels here on Pacific Coast Highway experience traffic noise. Units are pretty well insulated, but less trafic would be nice.

The view was ok but only because we were on the third floor! We could not see the ocean due to the tall apartments/condo in front of us though.

This is a beat up hotel, the carpet was so dirty it was sticky feeling to your feet, the carpet wasn't even attached to the wall and the space between the room and the bathroom area was gray duct taped! So not worth the money! Will not stay there again!

The room I was in was very clean and had a nice blond hardwood floor. There was also good water pressure in the shower (a big one for me). Even though there is a lot of traffic that goes by on pch, they have windows that insulate well and very good air conditioners that will cool the room off without much noise. Nice comfortable bed! Thank goodness these are nice beds. My back is very sensitive. The people at the front desk were nice and I love the aroma of curry in the office! I would definitely stay there again. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. (Including a great Indian Restaurant in the harbor mall just down PCH, plus Dimone sushi, Don the Beachcomber, and taco surf..

Really, the only negative is that all of the hotels along pch experience traffic going by all day. Probably more noticeable to me than most Californians because I live in Minnesota now, where it is very quiet.

Location Was good and close to the Beach.

The Receptionist "Indian" was Horrible! Had bad attitude and treated us in bad way. I had my Registered Service Dog with me and she was not happy with that and asked me what problem I have to be having a service dog!! She had no Legal right to ask me that and when I informed her that she threatened to Cancel my Booking. She Yelled at me and then told me she wants to Authorize an open amount as security for the room for any damages eventhough Booking.com mentioned only 200$ Was required!!! She has no respect to service pets and discrimated against me for needing one!! Not to mention the Reception had a horrible smell which was Indian Food smell. Never again to stay in this hotel or recommend it!!
