Location is really good. Staff is helpful and you cannot beat the price for the size of room in NYC.
The staff mad rude comments about women leading groups which was extremely disrespectful to the leader of our group who was a woman.
The facilities were excellent for the price we paid. It was ideal for the size of our group, and the staff provided excellent food recommendations.
There's nothing that I didn't like.
I can say that we liked about everything.
It was warm, quiet, comfortable and cozy.
Housekeeping did not clean much at all. There was stains on the linen and the wifi was only in the Lounge.
Contemporary feel and around the corner from awesome stores.
staff don't seem welcoming
We had a room at the front and there was a It of street noise
Close to subway, resturants and shopping. Laundry facilities available.
Great place! Fantastic staff and service. Right in the earth of Lower East Side, near Chinatown and Little Italy. Highly recommended!!!
The man at the front desk said he smelled marihuana coming from upstairs and immediately called my room accusing us. I felt like it was only because we were young and black. It was not us, and we didn't appreciate the accusations
lack of hooks to hang winter gear at entrance to room
plenty of space to move about in the room. great shower
My only disappointment was that at check-in we were given the address of a place to park the car overnight and were told if we had our ticket validated by the hotel it would only be $27 to park overnight...we went to get the car the next day and were told there was no such arrangement with the hotel but they did give me a few dollars off. It still cost $39. We mentioned it to the front desk at the hotel and they said they never said that. Minor incident really..the hotel itself is great.
Would definitely stay here again. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the cleanliness. I also love that it is not in the craziness of Times Square. We got to roam around in more of a neighborhood type atmosphere. Will stay here again.
Shower was very finicky. Either hot hot or freezing. Took us a few days to get the hang of it.
The extra space provided by the suite was nice. We had 4 people in our group and 2 more who stopped by dinner. Close to subway stops, restaurants and Whole Foods grocery.
everything... see above
I stayed here because of lack of options... after 3 or 4 days if staying at the hotel alone, my family joined me for Christmas. the hotel botched my reservation, then tried to blame me for the mistake; these people treated me like a criminal, even after I had been a good sport and tolerated the sub par conditions of the facility... if you want the experience of being in prison (in both ambience and guest "service") then this is a great hotel for you.
wifi poor to null, kitchen not really workable if need any cooking, laundry needed repair
Welcoming staff, unique suite, non touristy location, handicapped accessible, pet friendly
There was nothing I didn't like about facilities
Helpful and friendly staff. Clean towels daily. Our dishes got washed without being part of our booking deal. Close to subways and a wholefoods market.
That we were on the 5th floor
I loved the location, and the parking was free on the streets. Overall the suite was very trendy, and I booked it again that's how much I loved it !
outdated kitchen, needs throw rugs to keep down noise, the heat was unable to be controlled and it was too hot.
the staff(Gabe), the beds, the size, safety, the location, the value, the cleanliness
No way to control the heat in the room. It was crazy hot at night I we had to sleep the the AC fan running and a window wide open. Gas stove was unplugged and gas shut off, I believe because the electronic ignition on some of the burners was out. I plugged it in and turned on the gas so we could cook.
Great location Friendly Staff Short walk to the Bowery & Grant Street Subway Stations
Was were we wanted to be in a great locationi in a neighborhood, felt like a real local. Near Chinatown, little Italy, canal street. Soho was great and New York was great. Would definitely stay there again. There were 2 of us but it would easily accommodate 4 comfortably
A bit of noise from street and room above, but really not that bad (especially for a big city like NYC - we were on 4th floor). Could get some wi-fi reception in room (only really avail in lounge, as advertised). Would be great to have more wi-fi access in future when we hope to return!
A good find. Surprisingly large apartment close to lots of restaurants, shopping, sights, transportation options - less than 10 min walk west to Broadway, less than 5 to Houston. Spacious bathroom, good shower/bath and handy kitchen with space to lounge. Spotless hardwood room and professional/ accommodating staff. Safe/secure - safe in room, but never felt we needed it.
Hasn't been updated since 1980-something. Mis-matched furniture, threadbare towels, no electrical plugs in the entire bedroom!
Roomy, like a small apartment
A great place with convient transportation.
The first receptionist was quite standoffish and I almost felt like I was serving him, not the other way around
Me and my friend stayed one night here. I was shocked at how big the room was, not often seen in NYC! Really good location, and the second receptionist was very nice. All in all very recommendable
