Location 24hr front desk coverage Good WiFi in lounge area Comfortable beds
Tatty kitchen Dated bathroom
Location near Soho and subway. Two blocks from Whole Foods. Close to many restaurants. Friendly staff. Bouncer at door in the evenings. Big bathroom with tub and shower.
Apartments are somewhat run down, shabby. TV remote did not work. Hair clogged the bathtub drain. Had to buy kitchen sponge and dishwashing liquid for short stay.
Large rooms, location.
At check in even though I had booked the queen bed room option the person at the desk said I could have a room with two twin beds. When I said i did not want that room he asked me to pay more to get a room with 2 Queens. When I refused to pay extra he did give me the available room with 2 queens for my original booking rate.
location and kitchen
smell of the building
We loved the vicinity to Wholefoods, great rooms, light, politeness of staff.
The whole concept of independence from the usual hotel type experience.
Nothing not to like
The location is great, close to everything such as subway station, Chinatown and the financial district. The staff are nice. Plus, we got a huge discount.
Staff was very welcoming and ready to help. Comfortable beds to sleep.
Wi-fi was very poor, fair signal only in the bathroom, but still very slow even to download text messages and e-mails. Not working in the dining room and bedroom at all.
the hotel was in a central position, near of 3 subways. Little Italian was nice, but it was to expencive. The price for the hotel was right. You get every day new towls. Youer room was complete cleaning every day. A perfect service.
The elevator was very slow, it is better to go.
Good location and good value for money.
No hot water and slow internet. Streets really dirty in that area. Need more bins and street cleaners. Would choose another area due to grubby area.
Huge space and full kitchen amazing for NY!
It was great
The location is great so close to Broadway and to China Town and Little Italy.
They didn't finish cleaning our apartment on the first day taking away the used towels and forgetting to replace with new towels. However they were quick to replace them when we pointed this out.
we thought this was a really comfortable apartment and good value for money; we were a group of 4 adults and it worked well for us .It was exactly as advertised though it wasn't clear there was an elevator which was great and should probably made clear as part of facilities .Beds were comfortable and towels were changed daily; good facilities locally and good transport links. The staff were really helpful, we were able to store our luggage on our last day . We liked the freedom of being able to come and go as we pleased. This is a good value for money option for a new york stay
There was nothing we didn't like - it was exactly what we expected.
Basic but everything we wanted/needed. Great value, great location, spacious room.
Front desk guy was hard to deal with.
Proximity to lower Manhattan side
lower floors a bit noisy when window face the street
I didn't like that coffee wasn't in the room. Coffee maker was there, and it's becoming expected that at least some servings be included with an overnight stay.
Feels like an apartment. Great for my group of friends. Loved location. Staff was very friendly.
Plain decor in apartments
Location was really convenient and fun.
It wasn't as "non-smoking" as promised but our complaints were taken seriously and changes made promptly.
This is a very good budget hotel that strikes a perfect balance between price and quality. I had a suite room with separate kitchen and living room. It was clean, though only slightly on an old side, and I only had to pay app.$ 130 per night. The staff here are friendly. And the area has all the cafes, restaurants, and some stores. The New Museum is only a block away and NYU is about 15-minute walk. Overall, I highly recommend this place as this is one of the cheapest options in NYC that come with spacious, clean room and friendly staff.
Cool location. Great price. Spacious.
No coffee in apartment or lobby.
The price, the space,! the bathroom, the lighting.
The heating (too much), the kitchen (down at heels and poorly equipped), and the area which was so so, but close to better.
Staff accomodations were excellent. Location great, room great.
Parking is an issue. No availability to park in filled parking garages. Heat was very low in the room, although the heater was turned on to the maximum.
Location - 10points!
Room services were going in and out while we were at home.
Convenient to subway stations.
Wifi was very slow. Room was overheated, minus 3 outside, 30 inside. Bathroom was completely unventilated and after a family of four had showered it was like a sauna.
