The hotel really needs an update. Our bathroom was clean but very old. Our room was very small and the safe was loose in the closet. The staff was very nice.
We liked having a kitchenette and the central location.
facility is old
The hotel was central to everything, without paying excessive fees. The bed was so comfortable, and the staff were great.
Lactation and Starbucks coffee just 1 minute walk from the hotel.
When I arrived to the hotel I paid for my stay including all the taxes as requested plus I was requested to give $50 incidental deposit. After a few days I decided to extend my stay so I paid again as requested including all taxes. When I receive my receipt there was nothing clearly which would prove that they received $50 deposit. however I trusted them and I just enjoyed my holiday. Upon my departure at the reception I claimed my deposit back however the receptionist told me that from my deposit left over $6 in fact I had nothing extra from the hotel on the other hand there is nothing extra even no minibar in my room so there was no reason to take almost all my deposit. When I asked for an explanation they really did not want to clearly talk about it instead I was asked to signed a piece of paper as regards loosing my deposit which I refused as I did not want to give them my deposit for no reason. Then the receptionist told me if you don't signed you will get nothing and so I started to record the situation on my video camera in order to inform Hawaii Tourism Authority. After that they asked my to switched off my camera in promise to give me my full deposit back. So I got my full deposit back. When I asked for explanation I was told that they a made mistake and they did not charged me properly at the biginning of my stay I told them that their trade practices are very suspicious and not right at all to be charged when you leaving the hotel and you have no time sort it out when your taxi is waiting for you. The following day I called to the hotel and talked to the management about it. After the conversation it seems that they do it often to their guests and they did not care about it at all as they think that all is according the law and he can explain everything as regards the problem.
slow wifi at lobby
Staff were very friendly and the room was good. Free WiFi was great and the location was awesome.
The 'concierge' offered to help with sights, but turned out to be a timeshare salesman and we got 'tricked' into attending a presentation in return for a discount on Pearl Harbour - while the tour turned out to be a good deal it was a shame to waste two hours listening to the presentation.
Front desk employee was so helpful he was very nice talked stories with always smiling he was polite he made us feel at home...thank you Michel....
No internet in rooms and not working in the lobby. Cramped room, old run down bath and furnishings.
Hotel staff are not very friendly.
Not a lot, wouldn't stay there again. The cocktails at Chili's downstairs were the best part of the whole stay.
Being told the hotel was sold out and there were no rooms available despite booking in August for a late Dec trip and giving them the booking.com confirmation. The hotel were about to leave us to our own devices until we put our foot down then one 'magically' appeared, no apologies either. After a 9 hour flight from NZ this was the last thing we needed. Slow elevators and $25 non guaranteed parking is ridiculous.Loud air con and hair from cleaners all over floor.
This hotel was great location！
The bathroom is very small.
The location, close to all the shops and resteraunts.
Everything was very dated and old looking.
Elevators were slow & overcrowded. Check in was slow. Promotional pictures did not match rooms.
Location . Balcony . Gym. 10 minutes walk from beach.
Small room. Small gym. No parking ( 25$) per day. Some staff were rude and careless. We had to wait for at least 5 minutes for elevators cause they had one of them out of order
location is perfect with close walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.
The beds are to small, i sleep in a queen size bed, these were only double beds and we are only average size people. my daughter (17) had a bed to herself so she was ok. Wifi in lobby only and I could never connect.
Location is convenient.
Parking charges $25/day, if late their garage is full and you have to park in another one which is not far but hard with luggages. No temporary parking for checking in.
TV too small Room run down old looking Crowded Lack of amenities
Location is good
Hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. Carpets and bedspread are worn. Bathroom is tiny with old facilities
The unit has a kitchenette and is across the street to a supermarket. The price is great as compared to other hotels nearby. It's close to public bus and the hotel key allows you to use the Pink Trolly free.
International Market Place was torn down and being rebuilt by a new International Market Place. I assume the cost will increase as the vendors will probably pay higher rents.
got a great rate/ give discount on parking for veterans
the mattress was old & worn out the elevators were so slow,
Excellent location, 300 meters from the beach Waikiki. Bus stop at the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is close to many dining and attractions for tourists .. Large rooms with kitchenettes.
Cockroaches in the rooms on the 3rd floor, on the other floors probably also... ;)
Rooms were clean and comfortable but dated.
- Good location - Decent rate - Fridge in room - OK for a short stay - The bar next to the pool was nice
- No wifi in room and at pool bar - Bathroom is very small, not much room for your stuff. - Dated rooms, with wallpaper coming off the walls
