Pool area played some terrible music, too loud. People complained and finally some subdued reggae got put on, which was better than before and more relaxed. Still bizarre that a resort of this magnitude uses a music service with commercials. Also, beware of construction on Mondays (jackhammering and pool repairs). Overall, I paid over 1k for 2 nights (I got a cheaper rate too). While this place is super nice, it feels 15-20% more expensive than it should be. They are the only game in town at this level, so it is what it is.
Amazing grounds, views, comfy room, built-in fireplace, attentive/courteous staff. Bunnies, birds, tangerines, and a variety of plants. The resort is stunning and well-maintained. You're treated very well by the staff, who remembers your name, always greets you pleasantly, and is there to serve. Spa facilities are wonderful.
