great budget hotel that is very clean and good value. the manager and staff were great and very helpful. Next time we need to stay in this location, we will book this hotel. there could be a few more places to eat close by, without having to use the car.

People were nice. Close to a nice country resteraunt. small single shower only 2 small thin pillows per bed towels & wash clothes where very hard paid same price that i could have paid for a better hotel with better ammentities and a pool. i only chose this hotel because i confused it with a previous hotel we stayed in.

The managers were very friendly and helpful. This facility is no longer under this name though the sign has not been changed, it is now called Wanta Linga and does not offer a continental breakfast as the add for Lakeview Inn states. It is an ok facility for the money but has not been updated since the 50s when it was no doubt built originally. And again though the add says pets allowed, there is a sign in te office that says there will be a $100 dollar charge if you bring a pet in.

The room was very clean and had new carpet. It appeared that they had been done some recent renovations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also reside on site which makes it a plus in my opinion.

It was clean and relatively comfortable. Very worn and dated rooms. Definitely needs some work updating rooms and replacing worn furniture. Okeechobee apparently is well known for it's fishing. Lakeview Inn seems to be a favorite for sports fishmen and has been for many years. Parking lot and hotel was pretty much full of boats and equipment when we arrived.
