The breakfast was excellent, great location, and the staff was friendly.
Room at night was not dark enough.
Loved the upstairs patio. Nice room and great location. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Mattress hard and pillows too thick. A bit noisy due to restaurant work and neighboring facility but all quieted down by around 10:30p.
What a lovely B & B in a lovely place. Courtesy cheese and wine on arrival. A really good restaurant and a very good breakfast. Old City House and Inn is perfectly situated for walking all of the old town.
Did not stay long enough!!
We enjoyed the room and the location is located within walking distance of the downtown things to do.
Breakfast was not what we have come to expect at bed & breakfasts.
Great location for sightseeing e.g Stop for city tour trolley was nearby. Loved the restaurant; the food was very good and wait staff friendly and helpful
Too many stairs for the elderly. A ground floor accommodation is available if you know to ask. Restaurant did not open until 5 p.m.
Restaurant was very good. Service excellent, Room pleasant. Bed not the best. Parking was good and provided by inn, very hard to find parking in this area.
Sorry, the bed was not up to my liking, I am spoiled by my $2,000. bed at home.
Location Friendly Staff excellent breakfast
need a nightstand next to bed, no place to put glasses or an alarm clock
The room was very small. There was hardly any room to hang clothes. There was not an ice bucket in the room. The second night we were there the room was so hot we were sweating, and there was not a thermostat in the room. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.
The food and staff were phenomenal. The breakfast my partner and I had was absolutely delicious. The rooms were very beautifully furnished and decorated. The night we got there it was a little slow so we got upgraded to the more expensive room. The jacuzzi bath was just what we needed after a long road trip, very relaxing. The inn was located in a good area and made lots of sights very easily accessible. The Castillo de San Marco and Fountain of Youth were within a few miles. There was free parking which was very convenient as parking is a little difficult in the area. The inn wasn't your typical B&B but nothing short of a great stay. I highly recommend!!
Mattress was a tad too firm.
The staff was awesome. The food was fantastic and priced appropriate for the type of food and amount of food. Chef Juan's menu was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was like none I've ever had before.
The hotel room was not worth the money. There was no closet to hang your clothes other than on a hook and the dresser was very small. It was quaint but needed a face lift. It was cold both nights we stayed and the heat could not be regulated, so the room was very warm. I would not stay at the hotel again, but I would definitely eat dinners there.
staff was alwalys helpful. Food was superb at every meal.
room was very small and the mattress was extremely hard.
Great staff and fantastic breakfast. Room was beautiful and quiet. Nice little romantic get away.
The breakfast was delicious and fancy. The location is very good.
It's overpriced for what the hotel offers. The building needs some refurbishment, still keeping the European look. The breakfast starts to be served at 09:00, which is late for some people.
Location was great, easy walking to key historical sites. Restaurant just incredible, totally unexpected. Breakfast was excellent but in the restaurant, so didn't have that B&B feel.
This isn't something I didn't like, but it's worth noting that this isn't a typical B&B in that it's not a house. It's a restaurant with several rooms on the 2nd Floor, so there is no Living Room, Foyer, common space. It's your room and a Restaurant space.
Had a great time. Everyone was their best. Food was unbelievable and walking distance to all attractions in St. Augustine. We would got next time through.
No coffee maker in room.....
The staff, location and room was great, we really enjoyed our stay!
The coziness and the ambience. Great "happy Hour" where I immediately met lovely couples from varied places. The host wast charming and helpful. Bar & restaurant staff friendly and chatty. Super breakfast ( great "Benedict"). In the center of the historic city of Old Augustine. Near everything.
Can't think of much, except perhaps a firmer mattress.
The location was perfect, never used the car. Breakfast was great. Room was very nice.
That we couldn't stay longer
Great place to stay. It was a great location with easy access to everything. The food was absolutely amazing!
We had our wedding reception at Old City House Inn. Juan and his crew were absolutely amazing and exceeded every expectation that we had. The Inn is a beautiful little place with an intimate and luxurious feel. The food is consistently incredible! Every item offered was delicious, perfect temperature, and fresh! Literally everybody who attended made comments that it was by far the "best" food they have had at a wedding. No complaints whatsoever! We are very thankful to Juan and the rest of the staff at Old City House for making our special day so amazing!
Everything was great!
Bath towels were small and thin!
Location is perfect. Breakfasts were excellent
Towels were worn and need to be replaced
Breakfast was really good. The staff were the best people from all over the world. The little bar was handy. The free drink on our first night a really nice perk.
the sheets could be better and maybe a mattress topper. All the big hotels do that now.
-Best breakfast -rooms were super comfy and cozy, we had such an amazing view with our own private balcony! -staff was very friendly! -free bikes to rent out for the day -GREAT LOCATION!
Bathroom a little tiny for two not many towels/toliet paper in bathroom no mini fridge
The patio breakfast was outstanding! Service and staff were wonderful.
