Very cozy family hotel. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Great location: about 5 min drive from North Conway's downtown and 10 mins from Attitash Ski Resort. The outside hot tub made our evening amazing. Delicious breakfast cooked by sweet family couple (hotel owners) on a sunny veranda was a perfect end of our stay. Will definitely come back there again.
Ancient TV's in the room with only 1 remote. Pool area was pretty scary and the hot tub had trash around it. Everything was very outdated and when we came back in the evening we had no where to park
Room was kind of small
Amazing breakfast, great facilities
The rooms were very clean and breakfast was just like home. Fresh fruit homemade waffles locally roasted " strong" fresh brewed coffee in the sun room. Can't wait to bring my family. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable about local hot spots. Very family oriented and located just on the outskirts of the shopping strip. Look forward to a winter visit:)
The owners were great - so friendly and helpful. The setting is lovely and the breakfast waffles were out of sight! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The ENTIRE experience was wonderful! I can not say anything bad! The staff was wonderful to us & to our young boys! Breakfast was the best, cooked to order. Close to everything, yet a short drive so you feel like you're in the White Mountains, which you are.
Not easy to find in the dark. No satnav coverage.
Very friendly owners. Lovely breakfast. Good eating place opposite
The motel is in desperate need of cleaning and an upgrade. Carpets etc.... Were very dirty.
Breakfast was excellent and the owners very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful room with a fireplace, jacuzzi & skylight above the bed.Very comfortable room with a wonderful breakfast...homemade waffles!(Also convenient great restaurant across the street for dinner).
I liked everything
The breakfast and the staff. They were awesome. The cooked Waffles, pancakes. They had sausage bacon Texas toast fruit coffee juice. It was awesome. The breakfast made this great.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable. It may just be getting old.
Friendly and helpful owners Quiet location out of town Big breakfast- those waffles are seriously good! Clean Cozy cabin feeling Hot tub is great after a long day of Hiking Affordable and great value for money. Loved the breakfast room.
The breakfast is amazing! Since we were there 5 mornings, I could try them all. I think the banana/chocolate chip were the best. The owners were very helpful when we had questions related to the hiking and sightseeing we wanted to do. So nice to have a washer/dryer available.
Bathroom was a bit small and while having a sink outside the bathroom, an additional one in the bathroom would have been great.
Proprietors were delightful. Their love of wildlife sparked many conversations. Most of the other guests return frequently and the atmosphere was casual and very friendly. Free breakfast is always a plus, but the homemade blueberry waffles were truly world class.
Pillows extremely soft toilet ran off and on all nite Mattresses extremely uncomfortable Not enough room in the breakfast area. No place to sit so we left to go have breakfast elsewhere even though it was included in the stay.
Quiet location clean Very friendly owners Walking distance to Tuckerman Tavern
Messy office and entry area when you first arrive.
Excellent breakfast, especially blueberry waffles! The rooms were nicely decorated.
Rather old and worn in many ways, cleanliness could be better.
Nice staff, and quiet location on the edge of busy areas
There wasn't anything I didn't like about our stay at the Old Field House.
The owners are two of the nicest people you would ever meet. Very clean, comfortable rooms. We will definitely be staying there again.
The couple who operate this inn are lovely and extremely friendly. This was a warm comfortable stay with a great breakfast and a greaT value
The room was smaller than expected based on the pictures on the web site.
In General the stay was excellent. Everybody enjoyed it.
Casual atmosphere with warm friendly host and hostess and a terrific breakfast.
The place was In need of a good scrub; very hot at night; rather chaotic - and indifferent -breakfast.
Friendly welcome and quite spacious room. Nice outlook.
I have never writen a bad review - ever however this was soooo bad. Old, dirty, stinky, in disrepair, room way to small for family with 2 kids and no room but dirty carpet for suitcases. Carpets were dirty and not vacuumed in a long time. Clutter everywhere in and out. Ratings and rates way way too high for this property. Sheets clean old towels very thin. Said fire in evening but they did not have one on clear night. No offer to help carry bags up or down stairs and no elevator. Gardens overgrown with hoses on ground causing hazards. Pool nice but pool area messy. Place has potential but it is like staying at grandma's and she can't keep up anymore but won't admit it. Awful. I feel bad as the owners were a lovely older couple.
Owners - other than their friendliness and great breakfast every floor was disgustingly dirty and carpet so old and warn out and mess everywhere. Game room walls falling apart and in basement which stank. Covers on furniture dirty - I sat on them reluctantly. No vacancy in area or would have left. Breakfast tables sticky. Carpet by hot tub disgusting although hot tub clean and pool clean. Junk everywhere.
Splattered paint specks all over bathroom counter, children's chalk drawings on walk at entrance, appearance of office, very cluttered, windows dirty in room, piles of mulch and old branches on and near parking area. Expensive (Labor Day Weekend, I guess that's expected)
Very quiet, owners warm and welcoming. Felt like we were in someone's home. Incredible breakfast, watched goldfinches and a cardinal at the bird feeder outside the window while eating breakfast. Excellent water pressure and lots of hot water for showers. Queen bed very comfortable.
it doesn't bother me much, but I would love to see them to update the carpet if its possible
The place is like home to me. very beautiful wood work building. the couple who run the place are very nice. My 11 year old son love the swimming pool, hot tub. the breakfast is tasted. By the way, you may see bear coming for a visit in the farm
Water pressure in the bathroom was lacking, which would be a drag for a longer stay.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, fine range of accommodations indoor and outdoor. Casual, homey, but with more privacy than a B&B. Competitive price.
