The 65 acres of land with the Saco River close by was awesome, as was the great breakfast meals served up by Sandi. The rooms are unique and up to date with frig, coffee maker, only wished there was a microwave.
The lady bugs on the warm days, but Pete and Sandi can't stop mother nature.
Is located in a very peaceful and relaxing surrounds. The food is amazing for dinner (weekends) and the breakfast is excellent. Pete and Sandi are wonderful hosts!
The owners, the room, the setting, the food, the atmosphere and amenities.

Having to leave to go back home to work!
Most gracious Inn owners. They took their time to chat with all the guests but never seemed lose track of duties. Loved the solar lights they were using for dinner in the evening. Purchased one for a friend we were visiting later... She loved it. Room was so comfortable almost forgot to close our door , it felt so much like home. Marvelous breakfasts.. Will return and highly recommend if you want a quiet, cozy, friendly place.
Situated beside a beautiful river on a large piece of land, this is the ideal place to recharge one's batteries. Loved everything about this place including the owners who were both extremely hospitable....they made us feel very welcome in their home.
Our hosts were delightful. Our room with private, attached bathroom was lovely. The grounds are nice. The breakfasts are delicious. The price was right.
Old Saco Inn has the warm welcome and hospitality of an inn with the spaciousness and comfort of a larger establishment. The friendly innkeepers work extremely hard to keep their guests happy. Our room had a very comfortable king size bed and an oversized bathroom. Breakfasts on the porch were lovely; the menu varies each day but is rich, tasty, and beautifully presented. The Inn is located in a beautiful spot, with a river meandering next to it and kayaks available for guest use. The common rooms are wonderful, with several sitting areas. We came for three days, and it quickly felt like a home away from home. We would gladly come back.
Sandi and prtr are the nicest hosts Great dinners on weekends
Some rooms no air conditioning
all of it
The gourmet breakfast was delicious each morning. Rooms were adorable and quaint. Pete and Sandi were hospitable and accommodating. The grounds were kept up. The Inn was recently painted and very clean. It was a very homey place and I hope to be able to visit again sometime.
Nothing, I was very impressed and happy with everything.
Pete and Sandie were a friendly, hospitable couple. We had a great room, fantastic breakfast and they suggested places to go to for dinner as they only serve dinner Fri and Sat night. The Inn is on the riverfront, has kayaks and plans for a golf driving range in the future. In winter the skidoos come to stay. They had an honesty bar on the premises. We loved it.
Nothing to dislike.
we loved it and will return
The pub, and the setting.
The breakfast, although good, was a little spartan.
Owners are terrific! They make the stay so personal. And, because they have a small bar, we couldn't help but meet the other guests! Fun! Great value for the money.
The Inn is very quaint and quiet - beautiful surroundings. The people who run the inn are exceptionally nice, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. We will be making a return trip just for the pure pleasure of being there.
A little trouble navigating the shower (in our room) as it was either too hot or too cold - 2 handles - may need to be upated a bit.
