Clean, good location both for visiting friends in the Bywater and going out in the Quarter and on Frenchmen (best if you have bikes, though), waffle maker on the breakfast bar, very friendly staff Construction not very high quality, walls were very thin. Bring earplugs.

it was quaint. the people were nice. the breakfast was okay-fruit would be a nice additions. The space heater was wonderful, as it was cold on our visit. Plenty of blankets. Service staff did a nice job! There was too much window exposure to the lights outside and privacy. Some thick curtains that could have been pulled over the window and door frames to shut out the night lights in the courtyard are needed. There was also a missing segment of the blind on our door that allowed a passerby to see anyone in the bathroom. (Very uncomfortable). Anyone with a squeamishness about peeping toms would have left immediately.

I like the quaintness of the neighborhood. I love to walk in the city and it is a good 15/20 minute walk into the quarter. Pretty and good excersize. It was cold, I had to run the heater the whole time and the mattresses on one of the beds was terrible. In fairness, the other bed had a newer mattress and it was fine. not great, but fine.

Conveniently located, within 3 minutes to the French Quarter. Large spacious rooms. Good for the price we paid. Walls are paper thin, I heard the tv next door, and the conversation below as if the couple was in the same room with you. The continental style breakfast was basic, but needs something else...

Funk-tastic! Not clean, remotely updated, or quiet, but funky cool, almost boarding house style. Dog friendly, with 4 cats on the property. Cool patio open all times. History in that building is obvious. Staff was super friendly & helpful. A coin-op washer and dryer avail to use, which was great for me. Breakfast of carbs, coffee, and oj each morning, fridge, toaster, micro always avail on patio, plus mini fridge (clean) in my room. Some said they didn't have hot water pressure, mine was fine. Old school normal house keys for gated entry and your room. Plenty of free street parking available. Wifi worked fine but was told sometimes spotty. Easy walk to Frenchmens, then on to French Quarter. Didn't feel unsafe walking alone. Cleanliness of easy things was lacking, like floors, or the pile of dust & hair just swept out of the rooms just left in the hall in front of the door... Well worn and some stained linens, time for a toss.

Nothing. The sheets were dirty with something brown. And the prize is not real. After you leave the room you have to pay almost the double amount.

Front desk staff and cleaning personnel were very good. Location to French Market is good. Bathoom small and lacked enough electrical outlets Toilet ran all night long. No hot water for bath and water pressure was low. Door handle needs repair in bathroom.

The booking.com for the Inn description is not fair for the customers. Although indicated $59 as after a discount from a $110 value room, the actual room looked shabby. (It is the two double beds room) I would not stay even if it is free. The door is not aligned, the ceiling and room are like a temporary shelter. Some tree houses are built much nicer I think. Besides, the website did not say that there is no bath in the room. The public shower room was dirty and small. The Inn was very close to a bad security street. I felt cheated but the cancellation fee was $59 (the same as the room price.) After trying to at least take a shower and take a 15 minutes nap, I gave up my money and left . It did not feel pleasant at all. I did not dare to stay for the night till their breakfast. The only beautiful place about the Inn is the garden, and the staff is friendly. I felt terrible after that trip to the Inn. To be honest, I seldom complain so much.

The Olde Town Inn was a quaint & quirky hotel with character. The rooms were very spacious with lounge space. The breakfast was self-service in a shared courtyard area -pastries, coffee, toast etc. Staff very welcoming and friendly Quite noisy as rooms were centred around courtyard space. Not very modern but it added to the character.

The location was good for a reasonable walk to the French Quarter. It's a old building with lots of history, which was part of the charm. The patio was nice to have and we made use of it a few times, very charming area. The location made it very noisy at night and difficult to sleep. Lots of people used the area to park then walk to local bars and pubs, therefore the noise.
