Omni Hotel at Independence Park  

Three items worthy of note: First, great staff. They were not only knowledgeable and helpful, but across-the-board appeared naturally nice, outgoing and people oriented. Someone in HR is doing a good job. Second, good fitness room with a professional set of aerobic equipment, weight machines and free weights. Third, the hotel was able to accommodate bicycles. This was much appreciated as no bike is safe strapped to a car in a parking garage.

Three issues: First the bed in room 304 was not back-friendly. This means my back was sore each morning after what otherwise was a good nights sleep. Second, the temperature of the jacuzzi [in the fitness center] was too hot. As a regular user of such facilities, I would guess the temperature was 110 deg F or more. This is considerably more than what I'm used to and have seen at other facilities [~104 F]. Third The fitness center was not open on Sunday night.

The hotel was very convenient and comfortable. It's location was ideal for our short stay-we were touring some of the historic parts of olde city. I would definitely recommend this hotels for anyone who wants a clean upscale hotel.

Our stay was too short!

We came to Philly to explore the historical district. The hotel is perfectly situated for this plan - our room even over-looked part of Independance Park. The staff was great - very helpful in providing directions and making sure we were cared for. The Consierge made a great dinner recommendation in Reserve. We had a wonderful, but short stay! We would definitely return to the Omni and will recommend to anyone planning a trip to Philly.

Pricing in the bar - we paid $20 for 2 drinks! Also charged for drinking water. Put complimentary bottled water in the room (it's cheap!) And get control of your bar prices - we might have spent more time and $$ there if we didn't feel gouged.

An excellent hotel in the heart of Philadelphia - the location is perfect. Just next door to Independence Mall. Staff are fantastically friendly and helpful. If you have kids, make sure you ask for the free milk and cookies, plus they get an activities backpack.

Very clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. Rooms are cofn ortable and clean. I suggest this hotel!!!

I thought that everything about the Hotel was excellent, food, service and location. It is in a good location if you want to sight see and it is close to Penn Landing.

Really well located for the sights of Philadelphia. Room large and very comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Pool and gymn an added bonus and although a bit dated were very welcome. An excellent choice.

Restaurant food poor. Better to venture out and try local restaurants for breakfast and supper.

I liked the location the most. I was working in the US Customs House and it was only a couple of blocks away. Also, I enjoyed the ability to walk a couple of blocks and view the Liberty Bell, and other historic places. Many restaurants to choose from within walking distance as well. The room was clean, the hotel restaurant food was very good. Walking distance to the Delaware River which also has many places to eat.

Well located, spacious, clean and modern room. Had not received our booking.com reservation but were very helpful to accomodate us with a room fitting our need + gave complimentary overnight valet parking
