The location. The doormen. The Bar. The Restaurant.
The Front Desk person who checked me in was unpleasant. Plus we were not told that my Omni membership did not count because I booked through Bookings.com. So I didn't get any member amenities. This after many stays at Omni Berkshire! Same front desk guy informed me!
location, location, location; umbrellas available for guests; bedding and pillows; free internet as Select Guest members
lobby furniture was tired, almost ragged; our room was small; no drawers for clothes; as Select Guest members, we were supposed to get coffee in AM; we had to call to ask every day.
If you are a shopper, you are in the middle of the finest shops, but if you are not there to shop, there are nicer hotels for less!
If I'm going to pay over $500 a night, I want a view and I don't want to wait for the hot water for 20 minutes. I'd rather be in the newer hotels, closer to Times Square.
I specifically requested a room with 2 beds--either 2 doubles or a king with a rollaway. It was on my email confirmation and when I arrived they said it was not in my record, was not available and the BLAMED YOU. So, I would highly recommend that you have a better understanding with your hotel clients because they rudely said they couldn't help and that I should always book directly with the hotel, not through a third party. It was not a good experience.
Coffee delivery to my room in the morning.
My room shared a wall with the elevator and I heard it all night.
Window area in room cold
Excellent hotel with excellent service in perfect location for business travelers.
There was no business centre help during week ends and the rooms need more natural light
BAD BAD BAD I stayed in another hotel half the price less was much better The toilet was not clean when we checked in and the towels as well No free Wifi staff are not friendly and rude
Love the location friendly staff quick room service comfortable beds lovely lobby well appointed roomsWe
We had lunch with friends waited for service had to sk three times to be served and then it was forever!!
The staff was incredibly efficient and attentive and genuinely friendly - they really impressed me.
No free WiFi; no coffee pot in the room.
The hotel location was outstanding. The restaurant and concierge staff were very good. We would certainly stay there again.
I booked the hotel through booking.com. When we checked in, there was some confusion about the room we had booked (a suite). We were asked to go and sit in the reception area while it was sorted out. No big problem, but the reception staff could have been friendlier and more conciliatory given that the problem was not of our doing, and that we had been on the go, travelling, for more than 12 hours. The offer of a complimentary coffee or cold drink while we waited would have changed my perception of the check in experience.
Great service.!!!. Especially at check in. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The room was great!..the service was top notch!..location perfect! This will be my spot next time tn the City! Thank you!..We had a Great time at the Omni!
I can't think of anything.
Great location for our first ever trip to New York City. Walking distance to lots and lots of sites; including Central Park, 5th Avenue Shopping, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, Times Square, Broadway Shows.
Price is a little high, but that's mostly just NYC.
Frindly Staff. Goog size rooms.
The lobby is small for such a nice hotel.
When we open the curtains we saw an alley! No good! For the value it was k! For 400 we saw an alley!
This was my 4th stay at this hotel, it is almost boutique and in a wonderful position as you can walk almost everywhere and the subway is a block or so away.
The restaurant, it was practically empty at 7 - 8.00 p.m. on a Saturday evening which said it all. The bread they served was stale, the filet steak contained a lot of sinew. The waiter appeared indifferent to my comment about the steak, maybe a lack of understanding of English, he didn't understand my request for fresh mint tea, and brought peppermint with citrus, when I specifically said I did not want peppermint, and after having spoken to the restaurant manager, the waiter then asked if he could 'buy' me a drink. Again I think a language problem, but inappropriate. A lot of training required here, both for waiting staff and the kitchen!
Location, bell staff
Room quality, front desk pwrsonnel
location , free Wifi in the lobby
tea and coffee facilities in the room
The staff. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. Always a smile and genuine desire to help. Apart from that, the location, room, amenities all top notch. I will definitely return! Thank you.
close to everything but not in the crowds of Times Square cafe across the street great for breakfast, snacks Doorman went out of their way to make kids feel welcomed
Inconsistency of reservations/front desk (booked for two doubles then tried to confirm 3 days before arrival, told it would be king bed with roll away then checked in with one double and one king but room too small for roll away). Eventually the evening staff found a roll away and it worked well but seemed like it was the luck of which clerk was on duty. Same with waiving the WiFi room charge (first clerk said free if sign up for Omni rewards program, upon check out told that doesn't apply if room not booked directly with Omni but would waive it this time).
Not as fancy as I think
Location Size of room and bathroom Public spaces Business center Concierge
Poor housekeeping Poor mini bar replenish Poor attention to international clients needs No internet access if you book via any other agent except the hotel's web site, even if you are a member of their select club!
