ruhige lage fast in der mitte von new york, erreichbarkeit central park in wenigen minuten, gute bus- und subwayanbindung. atmosphäre im haus angenehm.

die ausstattung des ersten zugewiesenen zimmers entsprach nicht Ihren angaben im internet (keine kaffeemaschine, zimmer ziemlich heruntergewohnt. die kommunikationsbereitschaft am counter ist unbedingt zu verbessern. es gab z.b. keine preislisten zur minibar im zimmer - nur auf intensive anfrage, es gab z.b. keine briefmarken und keine bereitschaft, welche zu besorgen, kein infomaterial zum haus oder hinweise zur umgebung...; die kompetenz des info- u. kulturmanagers scheint fraglich und nur auf die engere umgebung beschränkt - es war z.b. nicht möglich, eine info zu ballett oder tanz in der stadt zu bekommen....

Die Terrasse in der 16.Etage ist sehr schön könnte aber besser betreut werden z.b. nach einem Regenguss trockene Kissen oder eine Abdeckung für die Sessel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Manhattan, wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten usw. zu Fuß erreichen. Auch die Subway war nicht weit entfernt ( 2 min Fußweg ). Auch das Personal war zu jedem Zeitpunkt freundlich und konnte uns all unsere Fragen beantworten!

Die netten Mitarbeiter, der Klavierspieler im Foyer am Abend. Unser Zimmer war schön.

Das die Fenster nicht Schallisoliert sind.

Very close to subway and to the central park Good neighborhood, nice staff

Too expensive. We are a 5 member family from Brazil. Difficult to stay couple days. The car took more than one hour to get from the garage to the hotel This delayed our trip back to Maine. It was written that it woul take at most 45 minutes, but it took double time. If we didn't have such a long way back it would not matter

Location, Location, Location....The upper westside is my favorite neighborhood and the hotel is in a prime location to enjoy its bounty...Very convenient to subway, Lincoln Center,The Beacon Theatre, multiple cinemas, Central Park and great shopping.

Certain times of year are easier on the budget than others...Rates seem to fluctuate dramatically according to seasonal demand..

Beautifully designed & decorated rooms & public spaces. We enjoyed the neighborhood places to eat and shop. We particularly liked the mix of tourists and people who live nearby.

Rooms are small. It's not easy to read in the room.

The location was excellent; close to transport, museums, restaurants, etc. Sometimes the front desk staff were friendly

Just about everything else. It was dirty above the ground floor, the place needs a complete overhaul. Typically rude New York staff who behave as if they're doing you a favour by serving their clients. When I tried to point out to the Concierge that we'd been provided with erroneous information which led to (a) loss of 50% of the use of the City Tour for which we'd paid and (b) that this erroneous information had caused me severe pain for over an hour, he decided to argue with me and shout me down, telling me that I was wrong. After about 5 minutes of this, when I suggested that it be referred to his boss and another 10 minutes of the phone with him, I received a grudging acknowledgment that I was correct and an apology of which he choked.

Fabulous location, lovely rooms, great amenities, nice staff. Overall, excellent value for price.

Terrific location on the Upper West Side. Restaurant and bar were good in the evening. Rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable.

Customer service was spotty; sometimes excellent, sometimes mediocre, depending on who was working. Breakfast in the restaurant was poor to non-existent. The hotel has a stated policy of charging for touching or moving items for sale on top of the minibar-an outrage I've never seen anywhere else in the world.

Convenient location

Mistake on my bill at checkout; not as clean in the public areas as it used to be; needs updating. But great location and generally fine.

Good location. It's close to the subway (train 1) which goes to Lincoln Center, Time Square, SoHo, Village, and downtown without having to transfer. It's also walking distrance to most of the museums. There is a pizza, diner, and convinence store that open 24-hours across the street. Our plane landed really late at night and it's great that we can still grab a bite after mid-night.

We have a Deluxe room, and it's a bit dusty. The staff doesn't even bother to dust the desk, CD player, lamps and side tables by the bed. The towers and linens are clean but it definitely lack the attention to details. It's a luxury boutique hotel but the room, cleanliness and quality is more like a Best Western Inn. It's definitely subpar to Kimpton boutique hotels.
