I wish the room description about having a shower and bathtub was correct, the room did not have a bathtub.
Comfortable room, clean, nice atmosphere, big shower.
Might get a little noisy at times
Simply one of the best hotels out there. Everything from the staff to the rooms to the location. Love my stays here
I've never paid a price this big for such a small room. The hot water wasn't hot enough. There are works in the building next door and if that wasn't bad enough, you hear everything that happens in the corridor
The beds are great
Check in easy and friendly, bar staff terrific (I think it was Roberto and Chris and Eddie), bed was as comfortable as any I've ever slept in.
The Location is very bad as its location is a bit far from the attractive spots! The construction next to the hotel is very annoying! I asked the front desk several times for find a better room away from the construction, but sadly no one seems happy about accommodating my request. Upon arrival, I've pointed out that we're a new-wed couple and we'd like to arrange the room for us, also this request was ignored!
Cleaning staff is fair, at best.
Staff was great!
Stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago (mid week) and the room rate was $163, this time (mid week again) the same room was $239. No explanation for the increase. Standard rooms are very small Heating units in the room are loud No mini bar or mini refrigerator in room Only one ice machine in the entire hotel on the 12th floor 2 long hallways away from elevator Construction in the lot attached to the hotel will be going on for at least a year so for 8 hours a day you hear the beeping of trucks and jackhammers. (Higher floors are less noisy though so request a higher floor away from the construction side of the hotel)
The lobby is cozy and inviting Great little bar, nice seating areas, live piano music in the evening The location is great (24 hour CVS and 24 hour Westside Market directly across the street) Decor is hip and modern Rooms are clean and comfy Shower pressure and temperature are great Beds are comfortable but a bit high
The room (double deluxe) conceived for up to four was a bit cramped. The wardrobe really small. The furniture was kind of lower end of ikea. I am also not a fan of dark colors, so I find corridors and lobby a bit somber . We traveled over Easter which probably made room prices go up. Combined with low euro the stay seemed pretty expensive for what you got. But may all this is just New York :-)
The hotel is located very conveniently close to the subway in a relatively calm and pleasant neighbourhood. Nice restaurants close by and central park just two blocks away. Staff is very friendly and welcoming . We asked for a room facIng the calmer 77st and in a high up floor.
Staff wasn't to welcoming and somewhat snobby. Besides that I don't think they clean the drainage when others stay. Took one shower because of that.
The area and the comfort wasn't bad at all. Very accessible to local transportation, also pretty affordable.
The remodeled hotel has a lot to be desired. Why fix something that wasn't broken. The inside decor of room right out of Sears Catalog or Ikea. Basically non existent storage/small type gym locker with no backing.
Pleasant Staff especially Angie and Tasha. This was our fourth stay, great location. The hotel was so much better when it was ON THE AVE!!!!
The rooms were too small.
The location was very good, very close to the subway and great restaurants close by. Very friendly staff. The hotel decor was very classy.
Parking is tough and expensive. They tried to be helpful, but it's best to leave your car home.
The hotel is conveniently located near the subway which made for easy access to mid town and beyond. Morning run in Central Park was nice.

Staff, Loby and Comfort
No minibar in the room. Windows facing a wall, no view at all.
Nylo is a very nice hotel and the staff is very polite. Big and clean room.
Small rooms (in general), but the worst thing is constant problems with the heating system, no working and SO noisy! The people there give no solutions, just "upgrades" for future visits...each visit same problems!
A heavy metal piece of ceiling crashed on my head as I stood in the bathroom! Exposing what appeared as broken pieces of asbestos! I suffered whiplash and headaches. The manager moved us to another larger room. The security had 3 men who came and were also horrified.. I could have been killed.
The kind doorman
The decor in the room was odd, but perfectly fine. The room was great actually. No complaints!
Breakfast at Serafina, dinner at Serafina, a crazy good doorman who hailed us a cab in a second, a truly helpful concierge, easy checkout.
the room was awesome! Bed was amazing!
Bedbugs in the bed. Pretty horrifying.
Management was nice when we checked out after we discovered the bugs. Room was lovely.
The Hotel is confortable. The neighborhood is nice and subway station is near.
Paid wifi, shower was not clean when we arrived but they fixed it properly
Location, room was very comfortable, amazing bed.
Paying for WiFi. Also it was very noisy, because of all the building works next door and opposite. The building works started at 6am one morning! Not great when jet lagged.
The beds were extremely comfortable. Good staff who seemed to enjoy their work. I had stayed at the hotel when it was On the Ave and the staff then were miserable and the atmosphere wasn't great. NYLO had a good buzzy atmosphere and the bar staff in particular were lovely.
There only is Free wifi in common areas
