Small room and a bad shower
Great value for money!!
Bed, towels, and Upper West Side location
The location is good, subway station very close, clean room, huge bathroom, nice bar/lobby with very nice bartenders.
room was very small (except bathroom), bed was quite small for 2 people, it didn't like that it was very noisy in the early morning due to neighbors, house keeping and door slamming.
Great location, amazing staff, comfort and cleanliness of room great bar and lounge downstairs
There is a renovation going on next building which may get loud at times but given all the positive things I think its totally worth it
Trendy hotel in a good location - Two blocks from a line 1 subway and four blocks in the other direction for lines 2 and 3 subway. Bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee machine in room was good. Staff were helpful. Room was clean.
WiFi in rooms has to be paid for - $14.95 a night. In this day and age would expect WiFi to be included as part of the room price. Difficult to get correct temperature in shower (either too hot or too cold - needed minute adjustments to get right). Thin walls - could hear paws of dog in next room scratching on the floor. There was a bit of a smell in the lifts.
excellent location, rooms small but well equipped, nice atmosphere in the (not really hotel-like) lobby
heating extremely noisy, very noisy construction site right next to the hotel, isolation of windows very poor
Good walk to Times Square etc
Location is great and so close to the most amazing park.
I was favorably impressed with the quality of the rooms. The lobby is also attractive and welcoming.
Front desk staff pretty brusque during check-in, which was surprising. But that was the only weak spot of my whole stay.
very cool hotel and nice choice of restaurants within the hotel. Loved the cluster of sitting places in the lobby; very comfy bed
the door to the terrace on the 16th floor was locked so we couldn't look out
The bathroom was nice and the bed was amazing.
There were no windows in my room. The balconies were closed. The room was really small. Overall the staff were just there. They didn't really help us at all. I would not spend any money staying here again.
Location, price, room, tv
charges for wifi, phone charges ridiculous. They should warn guests when they check in that phone charges are criminal!
Very cold in the bathroom. Large window needs insulation , I suppose.
The location, the lobby and the breakfast.
The noise from the room next door. Our room was separated by a communicating door, the walls are too thin. The bar could be improved.
Staff is top notch. Decor is hip and comfortable. Love the lobby bar and bartender (Charles) who's personality and drinks will put a smile on anyone's face. Location is close enough for walking and far enough to be away from tourist crowds. Will return again!
No free WiFi
Bar was great, very lively Good location Staff helpful
First room located beside construction site, awoken at 7am with loud digger
Easy walking distance to museum, Broadway show, great restaurants, shops. Spacious, quiet room. Friendly, helpful staff.
Chilly bathroom. Would recommend some radiant heat.
Location. Red Farm and Serafina restaurants. Very nice room.
No room service. Staff were overwhelmed, not enough help and not able to serve well.
Nice location, nice hotel, great for bringing your dog.
TV channels were lacking. No movies, etc. I like to watch TV before I fall asleep and there were only a few basic channels.
I loved my room and the vicinity of the hotel. I was only 2 blocks from The Beacon Theater where I was attending a show, and only 3 blocks from my favorite bakery Levain Bakery. The bed was more comfortable then my own at home. Loved my Keruig on my room I will defiantly stay here everytime Im in The Upper West Side.
Absolutely Nothing Everthing was Awesome.
I really enjoyed this boutique hotel for it's charm and the location was perfect for us. It's just a few blocks away from Central Park and in close proximity to many great resturants. The penthouse suite we stayed in had two terraces and a living space with it's own television. The bed was very comfy so my partner and I slept very well. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel definitely gets an A+ in the guest service category.
While we enjoyed the view of the terrace off of the bedroom, the terrace nearest the living area faced the rear of the hotel. The fluorescent lighting coming from the adjacent upper-level hallway on the north side of the building really ruined the outdoor ambience. Also, there was no refrigerator in this hotel room which made it difficult for us since we brought bottles of celebratory champagne with us for the occasion. Despite these details, I still rate this hotel very high and most likely will return!
I liked the excellent location, knowledgable and courteous staff, the size of the room, the quiet atmosphere in the room and the well edited decor.
I did not like that the toilet paper dispenser guaranteed that every stranger is handling the whole role of toilet paper and that the pillows smelled like they were hanging out at a bar all night and did not have an opportunity to shower before showing up in you bed.
Our stay was fantastic! Staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room was very clean and quite large, especially as this is NY where most rooms are small. Bed was extra comfy too.
The room wasn't ready when we arrived, requested a walk in shower and it was over a shallow tub. Fortunately it wasn't too much of a step up.
