    Lots of space, comfortable beds.

Cooking facility was limited to a micro wave but sufficient for a short visit of 2 nights.

very friendly staff. had a pool and a reasonable breakfast menu from the restaurant situated in the hotel. had a kitchen spacious room which would have been perfect for a weekly rate. very nice view and hotel was not super busy.

some of the furniture in our room was in need of a little TLC. rugs in the halls were in need of a good cleaning or change altogether.

The location: a 10 minute walk from Georgetown and a 3 minute walk from the metro (which is but a few stops from the mall) The hotel: Big rooms, Helpful staff, Microwave oven and a small but usually empty gym (open till 22:00)

The location: Very close to the George Washington medical center, Ambulances are heard quite often (but are soon ignored and never bother sleep)

We checked in late and the receptionist was very friendly and good.

It could be cleaner - carpets are obviously old and in need of either replacement or just remove

We where with our 2 grand kids for 3 days 2 nights. Room was spacious enough my husband could "escape" the grand kids to unwind and they had their own space. Although the kitchen and living area furn was a bit outdated, the suite was extremely clean thru out, which we prefer the cleanliness before modern. Mattress/bedding comfort was excellent. Bathroom small but there was an extra half bath which proved to be handy so size didn't matter. All staff excellent, knowledgeable and friendly, especially Jacqueline/front desk, Dawit/front door-valet and "Pear" in housekeeping all went above and beyond our expectations.

The only con we can think of was the location of the hotel being next to the hospital which resulted in sirens at all hours. We were aware of this from other reviews, and as stated from those after the first night you really do adjust. Even our 13 yo grandson son who slept on an air mattress by the sliding door commented during breakfast that he didn't wake up like the night before.

The location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Foggy Bottom across from Washington Circle and close to all attractions. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The bed is super comfortable. The food at Cafe Bistro is fabulous as is the room service. The room was clean. The bathroom was very nice and had an ample supply of towels and toiletries including cotton. You can make your own freshly ground coffee every morning with their fresh coffee beans, grinder, and coffee maker. Nice touch. Wifi, TV, air conditioning, a beautiful balcony with a view, all terrific.

I didn't like the scented candles in the entrance. For people with chemical sensitivities, the scent was too strong. The kitchen is outdated and not equipped to cook a real meal. Hardly any silver wear or cooking utensils. No strainer to cook pasta. The refrigerator was extremely loud. We had to disconnect at night.

Large, comfortable rooms with great balcony. Great kitchen area with coffee grinder and cooker as well as other mod cons. Hotel has a small pool. Very well positioned so you can easily stroll to the White House for sightseeing or Georgetown for dinner. This would have been our favourite hotel if not for the elevator incident as we were leaving for the airport.

We were on 7th floor. Our 11 year old became trapped in the elevator and stuck on her own for more than 20 minutes. We immediately got her to sound the elevator alarm and waited. No-one came up to the 7th floor and identified themselves as a hotel manager. I rang the front desk from our room and then took the other lift down to ask for help. I was told a maintenance man was on his way. Later, when a maintenance man came up and attempted to open the doors, he could not do so. I went down to ask for help at the front desk again. They said they'd called the fire brigade. I walked back up the stairs to the 7th floor. Later, the maintenance man turned off the power. We were frantic with worry. Our family forced the door open. My poor niece was a complete wreck. Then the fire brigade arrived. How can an elevator in a modern hotel not have the sensors to open immediately if someone is trying to step out?

Hotel was great staff was friendly and informed nice treats and water in late afternoon

The 2nd bed/convertible sofa was not at all comfortable. The staff offered a rollaway, which was appreciated. Unfortunately that was even less comfortable (You try sleeping on one)

Our suite was very spacious for our family of four. The location was excellent - right across from Metro and within walking distance of Georgetown. Staff members were extremely courteous and helpful.

The location was a bit noisy with sirens (hotel located opposite a hospital and a fire station). However, we knew this at time of booking and requested a quieter room overlooking back street. We obtained this and only noticed the sirens in our room our first night.
