Maybe more safety
The service. The staff. The complimentary breakfast The cleanliness of the hotel.
The location The limited and cramped parking spaces.
The staff was AMAZINGLY friendly and helpful. Very comfortable accommodations and great continental breakfast!
Our room was a little noisy with the fitness center's air conditioning and from the street.
Duke, receptionist was a great help, love him, staff is very helpfull, nice clean hotel.good breakfast, good bed, much room...just all
I was very impressed and my expectations were exceeded at the Opera House Hotel. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Every part if the hotel was pristine.
Nothing I didn't like. I would go back again.
Everything was really good from staff, food and sleep. I would come back next time definitely.
the rooms are pretty big
The staff was very helpful. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The front desk clerk , Andrew, helped us by arraigning our taxi, and showing us menus where to eat. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. If your going to a Yankee's game the stadium is about one mile away. We would stay again.
The only draw back was that they didn't have a hair dryer, like some hotels, in the room. Also if you wanted WiFi you had to pay for it.
The receptionists are awesome! Please say thank you to Andrew for me!!!
The cleanliness of the hotel and friendly staff.
I liked everything about it.
nice Staff price to quality good connection to the centre through publc transport good breakfast
a bit far from the centre not sure abotu the safty in this area
the room is just like home away from home
check out time
There was very friendly and helpful staff (Duke especially). They assisted me with anything I needed. The rooms are very clean and well decorated and the view isn't your typical skyline view, but after all it is the Bronx. Besides that the breakfast was great and they had a variety of food. From different types of freshly brewed coffees, to muffins, to New York style bagels. Transportation was also very convenient because of how close subway stations and taxis were. There are also many other stores nearby for your daily needs! Costumer Service was great!
I liked just about everything about this hotel: great service, clean and modern rooms, great gym, and very affordable for NYC. It's also located next to a very good Mexican restaurant, Mexicozina, and close to the subway.
This area of the Bronx can be pretty hectic. At times the afternoons could be noisy and the area surrounding the hotel a bit dirty. It can also take a while to get back from lower Manhattan if you're traveling late at night. Even still it's a great compromise for the price and amenities.
Loved the modern style of the room. Spacious bathroom, clean and comfy bedroom. Staff was helpful and informative. Excellent choice for taking in a Yankees game!
Good for silant place
The peloo were smil bad You must pay for Internet No parking "space for just 5 cars"
When I saw this hotel on the web, there was only one picture of the front door. When I stood at the door and as I walked in, I realized the picture doesn't do it justice. This place is amazing. The staff is excellent and the facilities to include the room were top notch. I would definitely consider staying again.
I called to check the rates, Andrew quoted $180 per night. I asked of there was a cheaper rate obline, he said yes. I booked online and got a rate of $135 for a deluxe room. Had I known my overnight would turn into four days, I would have booked it them. But anyway, my 17 and 12 year old son and I headed to the hotel while our home was being renovated after a flood... I was reluctant about the area, I know it as a shopping area and never saw a hotel there before.... We arrived before check in and the young lady clerk was VERY NICE! She told us we could leave our bags and go out. We decided to stay there and charge our phones first... We went out to pick up dinner and as we were leaving she stopped us and said our room was ready!!! I loved that. The room was very spacious and clean. There was a nice fridge and microwave as well as a tv with cable. The beds! Well let me just say that my sons wanted me to "get my own room" because thats how comfy the beds were.... We truly enjoyed our stay. We ended having to move to a smaller room because I only booked for one night, but our home wasnt ready for us.... They were so nice and moved us right in to another equally comfy room.... I dealt with Andrew(WONDERFUL MAN!), the young African American clerk( he was very nice!) our check in clerk was a young Latino lady(very polite and sweer!) I cant say enough wonderful things about this hotel... It's definitely a diamond on a rough street! Lol But I did notice a lot of foreign travelers there. Which is great because they were able to get a real NYC experince being in the S Bronx... The staff was SUPERB! I looking for an excuse to splurge and go back.... Lol
Service was great
My family stay at this hotel was wonderful giving the location. I must say I felt as if we was staying in midtown manhattan. Hotel was clean and staff was great
i loved how clean the hotel was. the room was big and the bed comfortable. staff was very helpful and polite.
i wish they had noise cancellation curtains. i could hear guys hanging in the street on their motorcycles all night long. kept us up
The accomodations were kept clean, the area was busy but it was very quite in the hotel and the staff were pleasant.
Parking is made available for the first five patrons to arrive; although we did find parking only a block away, but it was very inconvenient.
Everything super friendly staff and very helpful with directions on how to get around in New York for being our first time
There are not more opera house hotels in other major city's
Nice room. Decent size TV.
Greating person was nice but I noticed different info given to different guests by other staff members. No acknowledgment from does't person upon leaving.
Rooms were nice
Location poor poor surroundings. Houses with bars on the door homeless people everyone and their brother trying to sell you something. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
