Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach  

We loved Ashley at the pool bar and Marcello, the beach keeper! They were both the Most Friendly at the hotel! We weren't happy with the folks at the front desk! Not friendly and didn't notify us when our room was ready! We were about to leave at 4:45 when they never contacted us that the room was ready. Ashley at the pool bar was the only one that let us know our room was ready and we could check in. I amI afraid if we waited for the front desk to notify us, we would have slept at the pool!

The facilities were excellent and the pool area was great for small children. Breakfast was great to have at the hotel

The view from the balcony was beautiful! The room was nice, clean and comfortable.Did not care for indoor/outdoor pool. Weather was too cold to enjoy it.

The lobby was torn up and we couldn't use the front door.

I liked that it was the beach however we did not get to use it as the temp only reached 65 while we were there.

Would have liked the pool to be separated from outside more than by plastic. Again, was cool while we were they so we could not swim either inside or outside. Same with the inside hot tub - only used a couple of times.

Convenient to beach and local resturants. We love eating at Hazel's which was only a couple of minutes away. Even though construction is going on we never saw any of the workers or even any dust. Love that it is quiet this time of year and really reasonable priced.

There was nothing that we really did not like.

We had a problem with the dead bolt on our door. The staff attemted to fix the problem and did not have the replacement parts for the door. We were given another room with no questions ask. They reall went out of their way to take care of us.

See question 2. They did change our room after we complained.

1. Why were we put in a room for disabled? 2. the bathroom was in poor condition, wallpaper torn off in parts, tiles cracked and broken. 3 The coffee maker was positioned so it was very difficult to add water. 4 Overall the room needed to be redecorated

Location, size of room, amenities were great.

Price seemed high for off-season even though it was a Friday night.

We loved the view of the beach. The clean beaches. All the great places to eat that are close by.

We liked it all,the morning breakfast staff were so sweet and helpful. Wish there was a vending machine where the sign said "vending", but other than that it was perfectly wonderful. We will definitely stay there again.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was excellent, the ammenities were outstanding. Our room was beyond great. The breakfast buffett was excellent. I will stay here anytime I visit orange beach, provided they are not booked up.

The only thing I didn't like was I had to leave and come home.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all greet you with a smile. They were very attentive to my toddler son and made sure we had everything we needed for him including a crib. Great location!

I want to praise the staff for being so friendly.. The front desk and cooks were exceptionally outgoing. Margurita and one guy who looked like Santa ! :) Ive stayed at a lot of hotels in the past 20 years, I have to say this was a good experience.

I was going to upgrade my stay to a better view. I think offering the guest room position would be nice, but allowing online booking to upgrade rooms was my only concern.. Not a bad experience, but would have been nice to be able to have had a gulf view.. Perhaps an outside camera hooked to the tv cable channel would be a good idea to see the view, or, an online internet camera viewing like is done at schooners in Panama City Beach.

We have stayed there before in the past and we absolutely love it there!!

We stayed three nights and requested a roll-away bed, each day, never got one. They did bring extra sheets and pillows to us though...

Friendly, helpful staff Close to beach & very nice pools. Excellent breakfast! Really appreciated having eggs & other options instead of usual continental breakfast.

Honest staff I lost my 3 carat diamond ring and amethysis ring in our room and the staff was honest turned my rings into the office

I liked the location and the great access to the beach. The indoor/outdoor pool was great. Staff I encountered were all extremely friendly, check in staff, house keepers, maintenance!!!
