We enjoyed the location of the hotel as well as the comfort of the rooms but did not utilise the breakfast or restaurant facilities as we found facilities close to the hotel that offered what we were looking for. |

Great location, can walk to all tourist sites in SF, including Chinatown next door and Union Square 2 blocks away. Very comfortable and clean room, nice amenities, good service by all staff. Great beds! Expensive parking, like all hotels in SF, but public lot across the street for under $15 per night. |

The bed is to die (or sleep) for. Wonderful rooftop patio where I enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the full moon rise among the skyscrapers. |

The staf was very pleasant and eager. The location was good and the room very comfortable. It was nice to be in a green hotel. I will return there to stay. |

The hotel was very pleasant, clean and in a great location. Price for what we got... aka value. The hotel cost over $500 for the weekend (fri and sat) and was not any better than the Holiday Inn ($120) that we stayed at near the airport on Sun. Also the mini fridge didn't work in the room so it was impossible to keep drinks cold in the room. The advertised rooftop balcony was highly overrated and hyped as well. |

The decor was pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The rooms had a new and fresh feel to them. Small rooms, but more than enough space for a few days. |

Great location, many excellent nearby restaurants; close to Muni, bart and convenient bus routes, including the Cable Car; large in-room safes and good sized rooms; roof terrace that is very relaxing. Wireless access was better in some areas than in others |

Excellent location, room was spacious , very quiet . Amazingly comfortable bed ! Very clean bathroom, nice toiletries provided , Wifi was very weak, almost useless, but free connected internet facilities ( in a small, hot room ) were welcome . Staff were not very courteous, and to be very honest - probably because I was a sole woman traveler , I noticed they were more courteous and more helpful to single male travelers ! Very disappointing sexism . Free tea and coffee maker in room did not provide milk for hot drinks . Also , use of gym facilities for a stated " nominal" fee - was $15 per visit , certainly not " nominal" ! |

Overall it was well-situated, the staff were helpful and everything worked well. Liked that it was Green + free wi-fi a bonus. |

I was impressed by the design of the hotel and the attractive and comfortable appointment of the rooms. The dining was excellent as well. Staff was very pleasant. Not enough TV stations. Elevator makes unpleasant beeps. |

It had a great feel and was smack dab in the center of things. Very friendly staff, very comfortable bed. All in all, this is where I will stay in SF from now on. |

An Eco-hotel, with a great location! Right near the entrance to Chinatown, a close walk to Union Square - we are locals and we took the BART in from South San Fran - it took ~ 20 minutes to get to Powell Street Station - walked up the hill- and there was our hotel! Great! The Roots restaurant on site is terrific serving organic local fare (try the truffle fries)! and the rooftop seating area is lovely - (windy, but lovely)! with great views of the city. The bath products are EO - which are great, natural, and go with the eco-theme. We would definitely stay at this hotel again! nope - other than there are 2 elevators - one was not working on the 2nd day of our stay - |

Very quiet room, extremely clean, apples at front desk, chairs on the rooftop for working with colleague, friendly staff, green consciousness 1. Restaurant for breakfast seemed geared only for proper full breakfasts. It would have been nice to be able to purchase a muffin or bagel on my way out to my conference. However since there are tons of little food shops all around, it really didn't matter. 2. If it's possible to have available umbrellas to create some shade on the roof, that would be ideal. |

Location was good. Staff were helpful. Rooms were generally quiet. I liked the green aspects of the hotel and the decor was very simple but peaceful. In morning the water in nearby rooms was a bit noisy. |
