Location is great, staff is great, place is also comfortable.

Internet connectivity is terrible. They contract with wifi-soft, an incompetent company which took me more than 4 calls and could not solve the signal issue. The Ethernet outlet is not working — the equipment on the other end does not do DHCP so it’s useless. The entire hotel seems to be living on a choky 1mbps connection, which is sometimes less than what you get on a mobile phone. The hotel staff was surprised by the issue but did not resolve it in time.

The staff was wonderful, the rooms were well appointed and very clean. I loved my stay here!!

Location, walking distance to the many business meetings I had. Clean design, comfort, no fussy intrusions from staff.

My room was next to the housekeeping closet, so it was noisy. I valet- parked my car at the hotel, and when it came time to check out, I was told it would be as long as 25 minutes for my car to arrive. The receptionist pointed me to the fine print on my valet stub, stating that this was the case, though I should have been told this upon check-in. Thankfully, the receptionist was able to get the parking company to put a rush on my car delivery, as I had just a half-hour to make an important radio interview. My car arrived within minutes, and I thank the receptionist and contract parking company for making it happen.

If you keep the air conditioner on during sleep, it will be a little bit noisy.

I never ate there but the restaurant didn't look very welcoming. For breakfast much cheaper to go across the road to Starbucks or one of the many coffee shops unless you want a full-on breakfast.

Very nice hotel - central location between China Town and Union Square. IRISH BANK BAR - over the road is one of the best pubs I ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff are amazing, friendly and the atmostphere can be as quiet or rowdy as you want depending on were you choose to sit.

The people were great and the hotel was much nicer than i expected. very comfortable. The room was quiet and the bed terrific.

The gym was sparse with equipment. Maybe even put some free weights in a rack on the wall since the room is small. I heard that from a few other people who were there.

Your staff was very helpful with late check out since we ran the Nike Marathon and wasn't sure when we would get back to take a shower and check out.

Location was ideal for exploring the city, hotel staff were helpful and hotel was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel.

This hotel was a perfect choice for us. The room was spacious, well-appointed, very clean and comfortable, and quiet. The location allowed us to walk to most points of interest. Walking was our choice. Of course all forms of transportation were easily accessible. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

On reflection, we didn't give the restaurant a chance. It seemed to be empty most of the time. We did not see a menu posted or available in the room.

Excellent location for San Francisco holiday. Every staff member was helpful and accommodating. Free wifi. Liked hotel so much that we booked it again after our jaunt to Napa Valley and as we were returning guests, got a discount!

First assigned to room on lower floor - no natural light at all. Asked to move to higher floor, which was much better.

So close to everything. Great location. Many restaurants close by. Tourist bus right in the corner. Grant Avenue and the Chinese gate were right there!

I liked the room and the green features of the room (once we figured out how to turn on the lights). The location was great.

While the room was great, the staff was just horrible, but by benign neglect and outright hostility. Upon check in, they informed us it would be a 50 dollar charge to get a second bed- which would have been ok had this been presented with a better attitude. Then, they failed to show us how the green features of the room worked, so we spent about half an hour trying to figure it out. When we called, they did not come up and show us, they just said, "oh, you have to do this" and hung up. Same with the internet service. When I went down for coffee I was ignored for about 10 minutes (in an EMPTY resteraunt), then the person who made my coffee left and let it go cold, then served it to me anyway instead of making fresh. It was the first time in my life I did not leave a tip. Note to management: in this economy you should be able to find staff who want to work in customer service positions!
