To illustrate the professional and wonderful service of the resort, our experience was the $2 used on thier vending machine. Water did not dispense. Not a big thing but we called the desk to let them know about that the vending machine had problems. To our surprise, 15 minutes latter, a staff delivered the bottle of water to the room. Small thing...$2 worth but shows the dedication and effort of the staff to satisfy thier guest. Kudos to the staff for thier excellent service.
Although the rooms were very comfortable and really clean, the resort should consider some upgrade with thier furniture and curtains.
the bed is super comfortable, the room was incredibly clean, the staff are exceptional, the shower was amazing, and the scenery speaks for itself.
We stayed in one of the cottages and loved it. Beautiful room. We had a fireplace with a private back porch. Quite restful and relaxing.
Thankfully the hair dryer worked, although it appeared to be 70's or 80's vintage!
The location is beautiful, the gardens are stunning, the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole experience was relaxing and fun and I wish we had planned a longer trip.
The buffet breakfast wasn't great. Food was both under and over cooked. Also noticed water damage to the baseline boards in the bathroom.
no public transport
We spent just one night. Loved having a patio off my room, loved I could take my dog everywhere there. (even the tram) It was so relaxing!
All of us liked our entire visit & of course the perfect weather .we took the tram our 1st evening and the narrator was excellent. Dinner &breakfast were great..we enjoyed the entire gardens on foot the day we left. Good value.
Room was very warm and bedding far more then needed. Almost left a note saying I slept/used only cover sheet and 2 pillows.. so no need to launder everything.
The tour guide/driver on the garden tram, the plantings every where (with Hummingbirds!) nice room and patio, the peaceful, quite atmosphere of the resort.
Chairs in our room needed new padding-uncomfortable to sit on for more than a few minutes. The set up for the food in the breakfast area was awkward, the toaster and juice pitchers need to be arranged so there is more room for people to use them.
spacious rooms access to Oregon Garden breakfast could be eaten outdoors looking at gardens balcony on room
Soda machine wasn't working wasps at breakfast table
It was beautiful
Unit next to ours has their air conditioner next to our window and it was constantly on and noisy
Loved everything about the resort, except we has no wiFi reception in our room. The lounge entertainment was great, live music!!!
No WiFi in our room
The room was clean and quite.
Thought the food was a little high priced.
Serene valley views. Intimate feeling. Nice staff.
Could not accommodate a late checkout
My daughter and I stayed in a double queen room in building "D". Very nice, much like a bed and breakfast room. Bathroom was well tiled and pleasant. Room was well furnished, including a real chest of drawers and matching desk and a real fire place. There was a back door that opened onto a little back area with chairs. Staff was attentive and helpful. Free admission to Oregon Gardens, there's a spa and breakfast was well above par.
Can't think of a thing.
the quiet atmosphere. Rooms were nice.
1. had dinner one night, food was not as good for the price I paid. Breakfast was chaos, no server was there to direct, always out of food in the bins. The restaurant food definately need improvement. 2. One of my pillows smells a little musty. 3. I expected a lot more flowers on the grounds.
I loved the peaceful and quiet surroundings and I also loved hearing the birds chirping and singing.
The setting is beautiful with views from the restaurant toward the garden. We liked the private patios and well- kept landscaping. There's a nice variety of plants around all the cottages and most are labeled. The package with dinner and breakfast and entrance to the gardens is a good deal. Very nice staff and service in the restaurant. This was our second time visiting during the tulip festival - will return!
The comfort of the room...good, clean bathroom facilities, comfortable bed, cozy fireplace heating, and wonderful garden location.
The comfortable beds
staff all get five out of stars...hard working and fun at the same time ..i will be back..
The staff were wonderful and helpful, the room spotless and quiet and the grounds are fabulous.
The "patio" looked out over the next building's side wall.
Very enjoyable 2 night stay, everyone helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back.
Staff, particularly in restaurant and lounge, very pleasant and helpful.
Had trouble reaching the front desk due to phone always transferring to message machine.
the room was quiet and cozy the food was good
the bar was out of three alcohols that we wanted to consume...baileys,crown royal, kaluha...I thought that was unreasonable for a holiday weekend...there was also taxes charged on our stay when our booking.com paperwork said no taxes
The room, the front desk people, and the lounge and live music.
Half of the reason we stayed here was to use the hot tub. It was very disappointing that it was not available for use.
