1. Enjoyed the home made scones and fresh coffee every morning 2. The beach was clean and private with all facilities virtually for just ourselves 3. Pool also clean and private
Our room was small but very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed provided. The grounds were beautifully planted and maintained, the bayfront tiki hut ideal for picnics. The staff was welcoming and took a personal interest in travelers.
The exterior is great! Very nice patio with a great view over the bay.
Peaceful pretty location but just off highway so easy to get to places. Little beach & jetty area. Nice pool area. Lots of areas to sit or sunbathe. Free use of pedalos & kayaks. Complimentary drinks & scones for breakfast. Very peaceful.
Room was a bit on small size for family of 4. Wifi didn't work in room.
Large house close to beach. Not crowded, calm. Kids liked canoes free of charge! Also we liked free scones for breakfast. Thank you.
Coffee, does not match european taste. Proposal: espresso or nespresso would be wonderful!
We loved almost everything about it here. The staff was very kind, room was spacious and clean. The scones were amazing!!!! Will definitely be coming back!!!
Wi-Fi wasn't the best, could hardly ever get on, however, it was not a big issue, we were out enjoying all the amenities the resort had to offer
The location right on the lake side with free use of kayaks free morning coffee and home made scones lovely.
Wi-Fi poor in our accommodation
Location and layout
Superb location, stunning, small enough to be quite intimate. Friendly staff. Sunset to die for.
Loved the laid back atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful grounds, delicious scones, complimentary use of the paddleboards and kayaks and the relaxing beach.
We really liked the spacious room with full(!) kitchen, the beach with SUP and kayaks, the dvd player and library we could use. It was very clean and we even could enjoy sinfully scrumpious muffins with coffe in the morning. Management really thought the whole place through and oh, the garden and SALT water pool are great too! Carpark right next to cabin and great sunsets.
Approximity of the road.
Extremely clean Great value for money Friendly beyond belief Great breakfast treats
Water / beach not that great, but its that way everywhere in the Keys - gave to go offshore to get to good snorkeling.
Beautiful property, clean and well kept by a friendly and knowledgable staff. Overall an excellent place that we would definitely stay in again.
Wi-Fi was dodgy at best, we relied on our 4G phones and couldn't get much of anything via wi-fi on the laptop.
Relax, relax, relax, relax. I hate to sound like a broken record. If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place.
Room #25 is outstanding, but it's the only one. We upgraded to it first night, but unavailable next. View superb. Overall property location excellent. Rooms 1 thru 4 may be fine (did not see inside), but likely not #25 quality.
Although we prepaid half year in advance, were booked into worst room in complex (#22). Refused it, stayed in #23 second night which was somewhat better. Included continental breakfast (scones and coffee, tea) should be available earlier than 8am.
Stayed for 3 nights on our way back to Miami airport. Key Largo is one of the quieter part of the keys Nice lodge with fridge and coffee making facilities (don't forget your filter coffee). Free coffee and homemade scones which was a bonus from 8am-11am. Garden and surrounding grounds are well looked after. We found all staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have particularly good weather, so could not take advantage of the beach front as much as we would have liked. Would recommend if you want to chill out!
Not a real problem for us but just thought I'd make other guests aware. Wifi does not work from inside room #22. But you can connect from sitting on the stone bench outside the bedroom window.
Scones in the am, kayaking on the bay, great sunsets.
Road noise, faucet didn't work in one bathroom, grounds a bit disheveled. Evening front desk clerk a bit rude, mellowed over time.
Friendly staff, lovely scones, serene place, nice sunset view, clean room and bathroom
Room little small to fit in 2 suitcases
all was fine; beach, garden, localisation, quietness, breakfast complementary, wellcome
standrd bedroom and bathroom is a bit small; pity but for 2-3 days it is largely surviving!
The location was fantastic, better than we had anticipated
There was nothing we did not like
It was clean
There was construction right out side our door. Room was very small, bathroom terribly small
This is a family owned resort and the owner is onsite. The property is beautiful with access to the water and free use of kyacks and paddleboats. Our room, while small was recently renovated, clean and comfortable.
I had booked for 2 nights but received an email the next morning that the room was only available for 1 night. The owner was great about working with us and making a recommendation for other accomodations for the remainder of our stay. I would definately stay here again.
accommodation. view peaceful & relaxing setting hassle free
nothing, liked everything about the place
Free kajak/paddleboat renting, some plates and cutlery in the room
Wifi could be better, probably fleas in one bed
I really liked the set up of the rooms and the outdoors, the place is very clean and updated.
