- Excellent staff - Excellent wifi - 4-5 star finishings & cleanliness - Great shower pressure - Great location for the price. Close to DT LA and to walk to restaurants on Wilshire - Safe location. Never felt unsafe compared to some areas between Koreatown and DT LA) - No charge for parking other than tipping the valet
- 1-2 star bed (old boxspring mattress - was rock hard) - TV worked, but the picture was unwatchable since they were converting an over-the-air SDTV signal onto an HDTV (wow) - Toilet would run after flushing unless you flipped the handle back up - No ice machine; you have to go to the bar/cafe to request ice My suggestion would be to gut the entire lower floor of merchants (other than the sushi place) and convert them into a great fitness center / spa for guests of the hotel. I saw very little foot traffic into any of these vendors. I almost didn't stay at this hotel for this fact, but I made it happen by running outside and lifting with resistance bands in the hotel room. If you fix the above, you're easily a 4 star hotel!
This hotel was better than my expectation. Loved the valet parking with no fee other than some tips ($2 for each time we took the car out) for the driver. Liked the down comforter VERY MUCH. The air conditioner worked very well as the room has the controller and you can set it to your likes.
Breakfast was not included. Most hotels I stayed offer breakfast usually for the price I paid at this hotel. I ran out of tooth paste and asked for some coplimentary tooth paste and the answer was NO. I was not happy at all.
Very nice and clean hotel!
The location is not optimal and it is far from the main entertainment street.
We stayed at the hotel for a total of 5 nights and the stay was problem-free from start to finish. The facilities were excellent and the service provided by all members of staff was top-notch. Excellent value for money.
Service friendliness Value
Great location, very clean, comfortable and quit for sleep..
Reception desk stuff didn't manage to send my postcards.
Unnecessarily overpriced..and never think of having a breakfast here..things are too overpriced..bad location..overall a disappointing experience
Bilingual Service, Front Dest staffes are so kind
I heared Blackfast is prvided in free, but I've never got the information about that such as coupon and explanation. In case of customer's laptop doesn't work for Wi-Fi, I wish to provede even LAN Cable.
Clean bed, clean room. Receptionists are friendly and nice.
Breakfast is awful. Smells on floors are strange
+ Staff - Friendly and helpful + Nearby Food - if you like Korean food, there is plenty good stuff + Value - Tough to beat the price in LA for what you get here. + Free valet parking - Just a tip to the valet
- Area - although it didn't feel extremely unsafe, the front desk said "Do not walk outside at night. It is dangerous". I did walk outside during the day, and it was a bit seedy. Also, that made the rest of the family uncomfortable. - No pool
Reasonable price, friendly staffs, a lot of Korean restaurants located around the hotel
the facilities are a bit old
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had questions about my bill and one of the employees took the time to explain the breakdown of it all. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was very large as well and they had nice amenities and organic bath supplies. The fact they have free parking (valet) is a big plus because of convenience, but just remember you will have to tip the valet attendant. The hotel was quiet and I had a good nights rest. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The wifi connection wasn't very good.
Accommodations were nice with spacious room and good bed. Location was good - very close to the event I came to attend.
Did not like the feeling that I shouldn't be there unless I was Korean. Newspapers, etc. were all Korean. Employees all appeared Korean. Other guests appeared to be Korean. Did not expect to be in Korea.
Staff was very nice, especially the valet employees. Felt very safe in the area even though it is not the best in LA. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Bed was a little hard and most instructions and materials were only in Korean. Would have been nice to have a little more in English, as well.
Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, food at Take sushi restaurant is pricey but delicious. All facilities quiet and comfortable. Conveniently located next to Assi Plaza and dozens of other shops. If you are planning a Koreatown stay for any reason, this place is a solid choice.
View of 3rd floor interior rooms goes right out to a heavily used walkway, hampering privacy. Easily solved by keeping the curtains closed, but its a minor annoyance.
Room was nice and was cleaned to high standards
This hotel is meant for 100 per cent asian traveller as no american staff nor even english phone book in the room Eric of toronto
Pleasant And Helpful Staff.
There Wasn't Any Convenient Hotel Parking So You Always Had To Use Valet Parking Even If You Had To Go Back To The Hotel For 15 Minutes.
It feels like you are in Korea. Free valet parking.
Everything is very old and would need an urgent refurbishment.
It was a great location for visiting my son who attends USC - a straight shot and 10 minutes from campus. We felt very safe and felt appreciated by all but a couple of the people staffing the hotel. They have valet parking that is the only parking option, but is quite efficient. We were told to tip them $2 each time we picked up our car and they did a great job. I would stay at this hotel again for sure - good value and we enjoyed our stay!
Wifi signal was week. No movie channels on the television to choose from. No ice or vending machines on the floors. You have to visit the bar/coffee shop on the 2nd floor - it worked.
The rooms ware specaious and clean ...The staff was helpful and friendly. We bought breakfast and had both the Korean and American breakfast. Good food but slow service. We would stay there again
The location was interesting. You need a car but parking is free. A great deal in LA
WiFi access point kept working on and off
Excellent location for all things Korean - market, restaurants, cafes, etc. Free valet parking was convenient. Their bukuhguk soup and dehnjang-jjigae for breakfast is really yummy.
