Pacific Beach Hotel    

Loved the location of the hotel. It was real close to all the action of Waikiki beach.

The parking garage was hard to access from the ocean side hotel room. You had to go down the elevators on the hotel side and walk all the way across the main lobby just to get to the elevators to go up to which level your car was parked on. There should be a central level that connects the hotel to the garage.

Location. Good value. Excursion services and valet all v,good. Breakfasts were excellent.

Nothing really. A torn curtain in room 12009 needs replacing.

Great location. Really convenient to the beach and shopping.

A little on the noisy side. Although this was mainly due to the construction near by rather than the hotel itself.

There was an additional amenity charge of $20 per room, which was not listed when making reservation.

It was difficult and sometimes confusing on how to get from the parking garage to the hotel rooms.

Bedroom very quiet and spacious. Laundry facilities good. Tea / coffee facilities and fridge in room.

Invariably had to wait in line for some time at reception and concierge desks.

Location & Attitude of cleaning staff

Management Bitter, Stingy and have never heard of Customer Satisfaction... Hotel Room Quality was nothing like the Website Photos. Small, outdated facilities... Simple stuff like Cheap construction of Glass Sliders and bathroom fixtures...

the beds are hard and you can hear the people in the next room like they where in the same room with you and you can hear all the toilets flushing all night and a lot of other kind of noises

Location is great. I paid for ocean front view which was truly amazing.The aquarium is beautiful and the sea food dinner with the staff was excelent.Parking was convenient from the building strait on 3rd floor.

By our mistake check out time was 11:00am not 12:00pm and we came up from the beach at 11:03am and the reception send a security guy to"escort us out" unless he was joking that's what he said.We left about half on hour later.It was an honest mistake.

Good location

As in my previous comments, in a previous email, I am adding the hotel towels were too small and too thin for a supposedly 4 star hotel.

Location is good.

The extra charges! Charges for parking the car in central Honolulu. I am a guest at the hotel, surely, it should be free. Charges of $20 plus taxes plus Hawaiian tax for wi-fi, beach towels and local calls. We all know local calls in the usa are free. If not, people have got mobiles these days! Charging for beach towels - that is a disgrace and as for with-fi, you go to restaurants and any other hotels we stayed at during our holiday, it was free.

Old furniture, dirty sheets, hard/small towels, old bathtub, ancient and noisy a/c

Best Location and the view from our room was spectacular. We slept with the sliding door open and we can hear the waves and smell the sea breeze. Staff was ok. Some were friendly and some were not. Room was outdated but clean. Bed was ok. Not too soft nor too hard.

Outdated decor and no free parking. Bathroom has no fan. Pillows were too soft.

Nice location, close to all the shops and restaurants, high towers for good ocean views.

Air Conditioning wasn't working in my room, sink and tub were flooding. It wasn't worth $200/night!

The hotel itself was very nice. The concierge staff extremely helpful.

Do something about the bird house across the street!! Those flying rats (pigeons) are horrible! Could not open your blinds in the morning without them diving onto your deck! Also a little disappointed in the fact that we had to pay $20/hour for a late checkout after paying over $2000 for the room! Also disappointing was the $50 single bed brought in for one night which kept everyone awake each time my daughter turned. The head board was rotten and the mattress likely was 30 years old - horrible! Thank goodness she was only there for one night!!! Room was very noisy - must be a/c for the hotel just above us but we did not ask to move so out fault on that one.

The location was great, right in the heart of Waikiki beach! The lady that was cleaning my room was very friendly as well. The room is clean, silent, spacious room.

Towels were pretty small. Too many additional fees that were not described on the booking process (like taxes, amenities fees, hawaiian taxes).

basically disappointed with Waikiki Beach in general .......... it could have been anywhere in the world. The hotel room was nice and clean but a little tired looking.

Delays at the front desk due to staff shortage and also computer systems that were down; also booking.com booking seemed confusing to staff there; and did not give them full information, I.E. that first night had been paid, rate on check in etc. This tooks some time to sort out and had to leave with a separate bill for each night.

Very friendly personal, tour guide lady I booked a car was very friendly to. Good position of the hotel, right on the beach and close to Waikiki. But upon next season there will be a new MacDonald's in opposite of the main entrance so it could smell bed in lover floors.

Its not ok to offer wifi for free when you have to pay at the end 20dollars each day there. Also the presentation of the taxes you have to pay (living tax, tourist tax) was/is very bad on booking.com and make a huge price upgrade when you stay several days like I did (13nights) during check out.

I travel to Hawaii about once a month. This will become my new favorite hotel. Location is great, priced fairly and clean spacious rooms.
