Located less than a 5-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, this Honolulu hotel on the island of Oahu has free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. Each guest room features a private balcony.

Old hotel. Staff could be friendlier. Coffee and tea facilities could be more generous. Accounts payment mishandled !!
Room: Asked for a quiet room with a sea view and got exactly that. Slept like a baby. Cleanliness: Was cleaned every day and each evening I returned was spotless. Staff: Happy and very helpful each time I required their assistance. Location: Straight across the road from the beach, 10 minutes walk to zoo or aquarium. Close to bus stops that take you to U.S.S. Arizona etc. Water containers supplied that you could fill with cool water from various stations throughout the hotel. Great idea to reduce the use of plastic bottles on the island.
I had to sign out at the end. I could have stayed here a lot longer but home was calling.
Location and bed- especially pillows- want to order some.
The way we were treated at checkin when we advised we had late check out which we booked with Booking.com - not helpful to start with - we phoned Booking.com and they no help at all! Very stressful and eventually manager honoured our deal but very displeased with the way Booking.com and hotel handled things.
Location to beach
Loved the comfortable beds
Homeless people hanging around outside all day and night.
closeness to beach
no comfortable seating in room or public areas of hotel
the closeness to the beach, the comfort of the room.
soundproof wasn't good, was able to hear everything from next door, it was too loud at night when trying to rest.
The staff were awesome, always helpful and aproachable. Location was great especially for our family with kids. Air conditioning all around the Hotel was a bonus! Thank you for our great stay.
Parking payment per night was expensive. This should be included in the accomdation stay or half price.
Location is excellent and easy access when arriving and departing. Room fine and just easy all round
Nothing really. Just what I wanted
Ambience and the facilities are really good
Clean, grat location, great view, great restaurant
Location! Location! Friendly staff!
Beds not as comfortable.
Upon arrival the staff were awesome! Made us feel welcome and after a long flight they were fab to deal with. Great location and the best one we have stayed at so far in Waikiki. We will be back to stay with you guys again! Mahalo! From NZ crew.
The location of the hotel was very good and the aquarium was impressive. Change over of the room in terms of housekeeping was excellent.
The restaurant staff were dismissive when we waited to make a booking for dinner. We waited without assistance while staff set tables and chatted when the restaurant was empty. When we eventually made the reservation so the kids could see the mermaid we were told the only reservation was for 8.30pm and we weren't guarenteed full selection from the buffet at this time if they run out of things yet the price was the same. The restaurant was expensive for a family of 5 and I thought this response was poor. Staff seemed unapologetic. When we went back the next day to try and change our booking to a time when we would be Guarenteed food, we again waited for nearly 15 minutes to be served. By that point, I simply cancelled the reservation and chose a local restaurant instead.
Quite, comfortable, best view from the 36th floor.
Good location nice and quiet rooms
Wifi dropped out a lot
Location, close to beach, restaurant's, shopping.
Room décor is out dated. Furniture is out dated. Bathroom out dated.
Location location location ..
Everything from the early check in to the lovely gift from the late check out and a view to die for! The hotel was in a wuieter location but everything still at your doorstep and a stones throw to all the action of waikiki
Location, view, large balcony & room, in room safe, large comfy bed, removable shower head.
Hotel interior & room furniture apart from bed is a bit dated. Restaurant in hotel a bit pricey for what is on offer. Despite having 4 lifts in operation, constantly had to wait & be packed in like sardines with all the Japanese tourists, which I feel this hotel mainly catered for.
This was my third time to stay at Pacific Beach Waikiki. Our flight landed at 8am, having no pre-arrangements made to get to the hotel we paid for return transfers in arrivals, this was $57 for two people The journey is about 30 - 35 mins depending on traffic, however if the driver takes 'the back roads' it can be as little as 15 mins (as was this journey) At checkin we were welcomed by employee 'Sina' who was one the most nicest genuine people I've ever dealt with on checkin!! - Sina was so warm, polite, happy, nice (and all genuine / not put on), it was a pure pleasure dealing with her, to the point that I actually looked at her name badge, and was so surprised she was only a 'regular' employee and not a supervisor or manager / assistant manager... (Pacific Beach, take note: I check into many hotels every month all over the world, 'Sina' is a one in a million employee and you should realise that employees like her should be rewarded! A pure asset to your hotel that you need to hold onto - and you should give her some reward / acknowledgement - even if it's only an extra paid day off to take at her choosing, she really was a pleasure to deal with) The room was on the 9th floor, as we walked in there was the closet on the right (complete with a large electronic safe) and to the left was the very spacious and clean bathroom, complete with ample towels, complimentary toiletries (even a toothbrush n, toothpaste!). The bedroom had two queen beds which were really comfortable and had x4 pillows each (which is perfect as we wanted lots of pillows), there's a flat screen tv with multiple English speaking channels, there a work station and our balcony was perfect for relaxing on in the evening with a bottle of wine people watching, and during the day the 'partial' view of the ocean was actually amazing!
The only flaw I have was when I went to book a tour at the concierge desk, employee 'Sienna' was one of the most uninterested employees I've seen in a long time, there was no enthusiasm and she came across that she didn't care at all, and wasn't helpful in the slightest, I was booking a tour that ended up being $190 and she didn't even go through the tour details, this was very off putting considering you can book tours anywhere in Waikiki, I would recommend her to attend a customer service course, or remove her from a customer facing role, I would happily return to Pacific beach, but if I see 'Sienna' on concierge I will be taking my tour business else where.
The politeness and helpfulness of the staff even at a very busy period; room with view and excellent and welcome air-con.
Hard sell in cosmetics franchise. Possibly a con artist or credit card fraudster?
It was nice to have the beach Infront of the hotel
Parking was too pricey, no microwave and other necessities, if needed you would need to pay for them.
