Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant and bar is first class
Location was great.
In Pacific City. Vanity outside of bathroom in addition to sink in bathroom. A better value than unfurnished cabins at nearby campground. Staff was friendly.
Facility seemed to be in general disrepair. On site restaurant open only for dinner and expensive. Decorative outdoor iron chairs and table in room in lieu of indoor items. No drawers or dresser. Trip hazards on outdoor stairs. Needs a good handyman, manager said he had been away for sometime. Bed frame was broken or had came apart, did not realize why one side of bed was sagging until leaving and looked under bed for a dropped item. Also needed to vacuum under bed. Took 3 attempts to get a working room coffee pot.
The room had tan polyester sheets with a lumpy mattress. After returning to the room after dinner I was greeted by a large black bug which the manager claimed it was only a beetle. Everything felt seedy. I decided after not sleeping that I would just cut my visit short. Using the toilet one last time the handle feel off when I flushed. Icky and expensive!
Price was reasonable Accommodating to Arriving late
NO ICE MACHINE!
You can walk to the airport or the beach so it was very convenient.
I thought the price was too high but I couldn't find anything cheaper so I picked this place, mainly because it was so close to the airport.
Easy to find.
Bar food was overpriced and not very good. Restaurant prices were very overpriced.
I enjoyed the location; close to beach and out of the way of most of the main traffic. I liked the library and Greatful Bread Bakery/restaurant. Beautiful little town and out of the way and beaten path. also enjoyed friendliness of cleaning staff and prompt meeting of "needs."
too warm in my room; but that is normal for me; having to step up over the threshold. not having immediate assistance with desk. but really nothing to complain about.
king size bed
The 2-room suite on the first floor was spacious enough for the five of us and the beds were comfortable, It helped to have two TVs so the kids could watch what they wanted to. I also liked the colorful bath towels, nice change for the all-white or neutral tones of other lodgings we stayed at. Finally, I enjoyed the 12-cup coffeemaker and pots/pans and full kitchen setup. We were too tired to cook that night, but it would've been very easy to cook a meal on the stovetop.
The drapes/curtains didn't have a liner/privacy panel so you couldn't really open the drapes without having those walking or driving by look right into your room. During our stay it was pretty foggy so we couldn't really see the road, much less the surrounding area (not the hotel's fault, just our bad luck), One TV was a little too big for the dresser that it was on -- seemed like it might topple over.
nice people in charge
It's ok place if you very tired and need just to sleep and leave. Soft beds clean sheets.
No DVD player, WiFi work only in rooms close enough to office, very small showers. No vending machine, you need to drive to gas station to get water or snacks. Located on main street HW-101 next to airport, very noisy during day.
Staff was not as bad as pervious reviews stated. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The whole place needs an update from furniture to paint to bedding. Everything looks like it's from a second hand store and not in a good way. Cleaning is very minimal. There were visible greasy hand prints on the walls.
Cost. The crummy rooms and paper-thin walls would be more suitabley priced at half of what I paid.
The beds - Comfy Friendly staff Nice setup Nice dog Cool picnic area
The shower - Too small Unclean dishes Small Television No view Next to an airport - hadn't a clue Poor price for what you get
Place was dirty , too much money!
Location was ok. Bathroom was clean.
Musty smell. Went to the store to buy a candle to mask the smell. Didn't feel like I could walk barefoot on the carpet. Was scheduled to stay 2 nights, only stayed one.
Is easy to find and plentiful parking and friendly staff, and uses booking.com
A bit outside of town or from the beach, but seeing one usually drives to reach Pacific City this was not a major set back.
Towels were very nice and bathroom was clean.
No screens or torn screens on the sliding doors. With no air conditioning it was difficult to vent the room. Location was not great.
Close to beach and shops
Fridge in room didn't get cold kept having toilet issues ,kitchen staff slow small.portions over priced slow service
In the heart of town. Fairly good price. Fine dining restaurant on property.
Outside walkways, stairs, etc. in need of refurbishing. Upon check-in, bed looked like it really hadn't been made very well, and the coffee pot had not been cleaned.
The hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants & alot closer to the beach than it looked online. A 5-7 minute walk and you were at a gorgeous clean beach.
The beds were so hard that my back and hips still hurt.Everytime I used the toliet it sounded like it might overflow, but luckily never did. The restaurant/bar was closed the second night we were there.
Location is great, staff excellent,
The cafe had the best dinner and wine we've had on the coast so far.
The pillows were super flat but a very comfy bed.
