The hotel is located in a safe residence. If you are in San Francisco for fun and don't want to spend your money in a hotel which is in a neighbourhood you do not know, this is the hotel you are looking for. There is train to the hotel from San Francisco until midnight. The ride takes around 45 minutes and you walk 5 minutes once you get down at the station. I recommend you to pay the extra and get a room with bathroom, however the showers were clean as far as I saw. There are a lot of attractions like movie theatres and fine dining around. The room was small. Really small. The bed and furniture could have been better.

The room was good small but I thought it was cozy, the bathroom was beautiful and the shower was hot with great pressure and I liked the free water at the lobby. I also liked the fact that it had a laundry room. Very good location right downtown close to everything in walking distance. Price was good and the manager and staff was nice. The cleaning lady threw away things that weren't trash, what was not in the trash can. She also threw away soaps that I was still using and I think it is wasteful ...I mean I was the one using them. She also threw away my shampoo that was on the shower floor. I complained because if something is not in the trash what makes her think it is? Also the location is extremely loud, so it's definitely not for relaxing nights.

Very flexible with our needs. Really assure our comfort. A good clean, basic place to stay at an affordable price. I would stay here again Times of the day and evening were a bit noisy (day care. local night life), but things were quiet at night.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was great and helped me out with any problem I'd have. Not only that, it was the best price and location at the same time. It's right in the center of the town and you can enjoy the feeling of it being very much alive in the evening, with only a few steps away... Hm... The microwave in my room did not operate properly :) However, as much as I can see, the only problem that somebody could have in this hotel is the not so very often change of towels and sheets (regular cleaning). During my stay (july/august) it was only once a week. I had no problem with that, because either way you get 5 towels for use. Nevertheless, maybe it would be useful if it would be mentioned in advance, so one could organize for it and not waste resources :) - Anyway, that's why I think it's very much eco-friendly and I support it.

The room (and the hallways) smelled very strongly of air "freshner". I value real cleanliness and desire to breathe air not polluted with chemicals - for this reason only, I will not be returning to this hotel.

I liked absolutely nothing about Pacific Euro Hotel. It is a dump with no hotel parking so I had to drive around for 45 minutes looking for a parking space. The room was dirty. The bathroom smelt like urine. The stand only shower was clogged. The bed was more like a hard box spring. I was concerned for my safety due to the shady characters also staying there. I was tempted to go sleep in my car. Unbelievable that I paid $70. The state should come in and condemn this building!

It was very inexpensive, and it was clean. We stayed 4 nights, and in that time our room wasn't cleaned by the maids once. We had to keep using the same towels and sheets every day. The bottom sheet of the bed wasn't fitted, so it would fall off every night and I would end up sleeping on the bare mattress. There was a hole in the floor where someone dug up some tiles. There was no place to hang up our clothes and we had to go to a graduation with wrinkled clothes. The room was hot, it didn't have AC in the room, the AC was supposed to come in from the hallway through a tiny grill over the door, which didn't work well to keep the room cool The first night we opened the window to cool it down, and a group on teenagers were talking loudly outside our room all night.

Very friendly staff and comfortable beds. Very good central location with easily accessible and cheap parking area next door. Good restaurants and cafe's nearby. On one morning there was a lot of noise from the roadside. Probably not a problem if your on the other side of the hotel..

For a business trip it's great. Price is right and the staff was friendly. I'll will stay there again. It's a little noisy at night and you would hope for better than a folding chair as the desk chair in the room.
