The one real problem was that there was street light coming in through my window, and the blinds weren't strong enough to keep it out. It's hard for me to sleep that way and I was more tired the next day.
It was just what I needed: a nice, clean, inexpensive, no-drama place to stay in a nice area close to the CalTrain. They can offer great value because their clean, comfortable rooms are a bit smaller, still with enough space for a full-size bed, dresser, desk, flat-screen TV with cable, and some floor space. I saved even more money by getting a room without its own bath. Poor me, I had to use the clean single-user bathrooms within 4 or 5 doors of me in either direction. CalTrain and tons of shopping are a few sunny blocks away. If I'm traveling alone, this is where I will stay the next time that I stay in Redwood City.
