Location is closer to sea world and other attractions.
Service is very bad: water pipe was broken and room was flooded. Can't get a good sleep while people were vacuuming outside our room.
I like the location because I didn't have to travel too far to go to work.
I didn't like the room that I had because it faced the trains and in the middle of the night I was awaken by the trains, the bathroom was small, and I was told that your facility was new but after checking in i found out that it was not modernized with up to date amminaties.
Beds were okay
Always clean Very good location
Wifi access was poor, it kept disconnecting Were renovating at the time, therefore didnt get the chance to try their meals Too expensive
Location. Easy to walk to little Italy and gas lamp area. 10 min drive from Coronado beach!
Parking lot was very small and difficult to get out of in the morning, wifi was very poor, no breakfast even though its advertised on booking.com. Over all nothing was bad enough to prevent a repeat stay.
Carlos at the front desk was very nice and so was the bed and pillows.
i paid cash when i check in and at same time they detected the amont from my credit card
I liked the proximity and that they were pet friendly.
I did not like being mislead by the false advertising of amenities on your site and on their site. You are led to believe that there are flat screen tv's in every room. No! Our television was full of static the entire time we were there. They report having a continental breakfast. No! They had a box breakfast with Hi c box drinks, cereal bar and 2 small Danish. No coffee in the office. We notified them immediately of the problem with the television and they said they would take care of it and bring us in a flat screen. Never happened. Their rooms were dingy and old. There were tears in the carpet, water spots on the ceiling and peeling paint on the bathroom door. The value for the money was definitely not worth it. There were other hotels nearby with comparable prices we could have stayed at; however we were misled by their pictures and advertising. By the time we got there it was too late to change hotels as they were all full. Be aware of what you are getting if you stay here.
not a lot
$50 deposit taken on top of room fee, they say it will be refunded! room in need of updating, safe did not work. reception staff indifferent
clean pool, good location, fair price
staff was no friendly
No enough parking, we parked across the street. Its says there is breakfast but when we went to go eat, the guy said they dont serve anymore. not recommending this place
Close to coronado ferry & little Italy, have a pool and free parking.
No breakfast although reservation clearly stated breakfast are included, next to the railway, you can hear trains all night.
The room was clean and there was really enough space.
The air condition didn't work so the room was really hot.
Not modern but comfy
I didn't like the fact the hotel featured the opposite of what the website had said. Our AC didn't work. We didn't have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and it was too pricy for being a basic room.
-location was the best, steps to the Maritime Museum -room 205 upstairs, king bed, fridge and a microwave. -different cereals for breakfast
breakfast depending on whose shift it was in the morning at the Marina Inn, decent or very poorly taken care of carpet in need of replacement in rm 107 (big black stains and wear)
They have a pool and free wifi.
The breakfast food was minimal, and the bananas and apples would run out and sometimes there would be none. The water in my room smelled like sewer water and there is only one maintenance guy for about 4 different properties, so no one was able to fix it.
fair value price
Location and wi fi
Room and specially bed should to be more clean Real closet is required Iron table is very dirty Breakfast should be included
The best thing about the Pacific Inn was that this place was close to everything that we did in San Diego. It is just one block away from the Bay and within walking to the Midway Aircraft Carrier. There are fish food restaurants just down the street on the Bay. Sea World is like 2 or 3 miles away and the Zoo is just as close. San Diego is a fun place to go if you like to walk. And the price was right at this motel. It was quiet too.
The place was clean but needed some fixing up in our room, tiles on the floor in the bathroom were broken. The ceiling needed to be painted. The one thing I really didn't like was there was no WiFi, they said that they were fixing it, so I could get on the Internet and into my emails. This would keep me from going back if there is no WiFi. Other than that it was nice.
On the bright side, the cleaning staff do an excellent job. My room was very very clean. Someone had clearly made extra effort to arrange the towels, pillows, etc just so. The room itself was welcoming.
This hotel could make people feel a lot more welcome on arrival by not assuming that every guest is a potential room-trasher. The $50 deposit is insulting and scary. Who wants to stay in a hotel where the neighbors are all room trashers? The key card doesn't improve the welcome.. It basically says you are staying in an unsafe place, lock your door, don't answer your door, you are not safe. Also, telling people that the pipes are broken, and sending them down the street to a *different* and much less attractive looking hotel (that maybe doesn't get as many bookings), without any kind of discount or prior notice, is also a little bit suspect.
At the time of check-in you are asked to pay a deposit either in the form of cash or through credit card inspite of complete payment of the room rent. The clause about the deposit is not mentioned in the hotel policies at the booking.com website.
Clean. Friendly staff. Proximity to the airport. Excellent Mexican food place waking distance. I'd stay there again in a heart-beat!
No in-room coffee, refer or microwave oven. But since it was merely a crash pad I almost did not mention them missing these amenities.
