Location is convenient, the room was dated but very clean. We stayed in a room with several beds and a kitchen, two of the beds were comfortable, one mattress was probably too old to be in service. Kitchen was a nice feature, but pots and pans/utensils were limited, making it difficult to prepare a meal for 3.
Not a very good value for the price of the room. The staff was difficult to find, helpful at times, not helpful at other times. I usually prefer the Mom-and-Pop style motels like this one, but I will try the other hotels in Packwood before returning here.
Located next to super market.
Personnel unresponsive, office reeked of cigarette smoke, room was old, not well maintained. TV reception spotty, bathroom gross.
Convenient to Mt. Rainier. There were elk nearby at dusk.
Message from son was not relayed to me. Phone service in Packwood is limited.
View of Mt. Ranier.
Very small, old furniture and fixtures. Not very clean, insect infestation in the bath. Web advertisement was deceiving, indoor pool was not accessable during my stay. They did not have my booking.com reservation.
Location to Mt Ranier National Park is good and wildlife abounds in the town. Great place across the road to eat & drink and a supermarket next door.
Had no record of the Booking.com reservation, Booking.com advertised free WiFi but none was available, power outlets in room 35 were broken & not working, Staff did not make us feel very welcome on arrival - seemed rattled by the booking not being there.
Just the right place for where we wanted to go.
Large "party" in the next room kept us awake until 1:30 AM. (Did not notify management due to fears of retaliation by party-ers.)
The owner did a super job of trying to make me comfortable.
The rooms are showing their age.
Nothing. They are no professionals. They don't respect if you have reserved your room. Booking has to remove this Hotel from his list.
They are not professionals. Don't spend the night in this hotel.
Close to Mt. Rainier to enable day trips.
When room was cleaned one day, we did not receive 2 clean washcloths. Also we found a cigarette butt on the table next to our bed. We do not smoke. Price was high in comparison to the quality of the facilities.
They had a room when I needed it. In fairness, the hotel is under new management, so things could get better, It is a SMALL local motel, and does not seem aimed at tourists. Staff were pleasant and courteous. room was small but clean. mattress was good, internet was good when it was up, and cable tv came in clear. it was mostly quiet, and you could see the peak of Mt Rainier from our window, through a local tree top. The price was not out of line with nearby motels, but value for price was low and competition looked a bit nicer.
It's not awfully far from the Mt Rainier park, but not close either. no chair in the room, but had a desk? office amenities were Coffee. end of amenities. no info on local attraction, Mt Rainier, although the park is the only reason one might find for staying here. internet was turned off or at least access to it early in the morning well before checkout time. It was a bit pricey for the room size and overall experience.Window AC worked, but really, Window AC? It was not cool enough to even try the strip heater, but might be a so what. I would not stay here in winter.
I liked the fact that we could book a room when all other rooms in the area were full.
Walked in to the office of the Non-Smoking facility and was greeted with the smell of weed. The room key didn't work in the door. Had to go get a backup key. TV remote didn't work. Bath fan rattled our teeth out. Paid way too much for what we got, but...we were desperate. Next time, we'll plan ahead and reserve better acoommodations.
Nice location near Mount Rainier
Couldn't lock room because of broken door locks. Front desk clerk didn't seem to know how to check us in.
The mountains around the town.
Only place to get WiFi was in the front office.
When I arrived all of the paperwork was done and ready on the counter. It was very hot that day and the staff had the airconditioning on and the room was nice and cool. I stay in a lot of very expensive hotels and I slept better here than mosty of those. Store, gas station and a really good pizza place all right next door.
the new management is doing a great job. the staff was very pleasant and really patience with children. i had 2 very rambunchus boys and the staff was very good with them.
Convenient parking. Centrally located. Free wifi.
This place is dirty, mismanaged and echoes the semblance of a Twin-Peaks meth lab. We had, what appeared to be, fried chicken grease on our pillow case. Our friends woke up to a strange man standing in their room. There is no pool. There are no Kitchenettes. You're better off sleeping in your car.
It was off-season, so it was quiet. We ended up staying fewer days than we had planned, but that was due to a change in our schedule. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice.
There were no problems.
That I can book at any time and also that they give a military discount my friend wishes for a Boeing discount by the way although it was a fair price for a booking at the last minute
Tv didn't work the room was still dirty from the previous tenants. The beds looked remade with the dirty sheets. We didn't have any time to complain at the hotel so we just stayed in our clothes on top of the sheets. #gross
Location near Mt. Rainier National Park is ideal.
It's a typical low-end motel, which is fine, but it's ridiculously overpriced at $90/night. It should be more in the $40- 50 range at best.
Glad i didn't pay more than I did. I just needed a bed for the night and that is what i got. No breakfast of any kind either.
The Inn was located in the perfect spot as a jump-off point for Mt. Rainier National Park and Mt. St. Helens Windy Pass entrance.
The Inn is old and in dire need of repairs, remodeling and deep cleaning. The charge ($125) was ridiculous for the facility. Unfortunately, we did not know this until we got there, and saw it. If we cancelled they would have charged us for the night. We were stuck!
First tried to check us in to a dirty room. The people "managing" were the parents of the son/owner who "just bought it" and were doing their limited best. Overpriced for what is and the bed sucked.
it was the worst motel that I have ever stayed in
