Superlative design and wonderfully eclectic aesthetics create the perfect environment to feel the comforts afforded by this flagship boutique hotel.. Incredible service perfected by some of the loveliest people I've had the good fortune to encounter on my travails, they've managed to perfect the difficult balance between excellent and attentive service provision and yet manage to be neither intrusive, obviously corporate nor overly attentive... The rooms are more like apartments, excellent facilities well maintained and beautifully appointed.. Quirky, extremely tasteful and stylish, delivered with humour, panache and yet practical and functional. The hotel itself hosts private parties and events and its a vibrant and organic feeling environment, the ambience is very conducive to both business and pleasure, I noted many different styles of meetings taking place in the gorgeous lounge, everything from music execs and their noteable clients and a tea catering company organising a pre-Oscars party!! All were treated equally well and discretely. The food is very well presented, and eminently affordable...this is simply the hotel all the others in WeHo should aspire to.. I recommend it highly and would definitely book to stay here again. Can't fault the place, unique and peerless.

large room size understaffed. frequently the front desk was a voicemail at all times of the night. loud party routinely weekend nights render the lobby impasssable.only two towels--they 'would' bring more-- but not for $500 a night. And, they only service the rooms ervery other day. I had a 4 night stay and never had my room serviced. 2K later. the listi goes on sort of like that.

Our room was large! Even more than I expected. There was everything in it: fridge, oven, toaster, forks, knive, spoons, cups and stuff... The same night we checked in there was a party in lobby in evenings of Friday and Saturday. Start time was 9:30 pm till 2 am. It was so noisy and loud downstairs that we couldn't sleep being on 3rd floor. And the last day of our stay people downstairs played Bingo game, so it was noisy as well. Also I had problem contacting person to talk about reservations/cancellations. I called them many times 2 week before going to San Francisco, left her messages, my friends called her many times and also left few messages, but that lady - Cara didn't call back even once, didn't reply any mail and didn't contact neither me nor my friends to understand my problem. And when I arrived to hotel and asked to meet her, they said that she lives in New York :)) Whatever.. If you want someone to help you with any issue regarding reservation or cancellation - no one will help you except Cara, but she is unavailable or out of office any time you call or send email. It's too bad such managers work for that hotel!

It was close to my daughter's condo. The bed was spectacular as was the shower. Bar was awesome. It is very cute. It took two days to cool the room down after my arrival. The remote which was used to operate the fan over my bed I could never locate. Fan stayed on the entire time. I was not bothered by the parties, but it would be loud for many people on Friday and Saturday night. Tissues ran out first day. Never were replaced.

We got a great deal on booking.com, perhaps because it was a Sunday night...not sure. But it was a bargain as the hotel was classy, the room enormous and well-appointed and the location very good. I'd recomend it for sure. We had no issues with the downstairs bar, as some people did. In fact, it was quiet as a crypt.

The hotel was in a great location for us as it was pretty central to the majority of attractions (West Hollywood) and we had a car rental. Its directly accross from the IHOP - Bonus! and within walking distance to East sunset boulevard with plenty of restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly and of excellent assistance when offering ideas of where to eat / shop / go! - especially Josh, he was very helpful. The room was as described very clean, amazing shower, all amenities (washing machine, oven cooker, iron etc). When booking through booking.com the parking information states that it is free to park if you are the public but it charges if you are a guest. surely this should be the other way around? Either way we were charged $26 a night. Also there was a room service fee of $25 per night, and the receptionist made if clear at check in that as we were only staying for 2 night our room would not be serviced, so what is the $25 dollars used for?.

Over all design We did not get the room we booked and paid for. We have not had our complaint yet addressed by management. the room was a bit worn out: drawers no longer working, stereo broken.

Boutique feel permeates the whole premises. Rooms large with handy kitchenette facility. Groovey funster feel about it which was nice instead of the usual chain hotel experience. Great rainhead shower. Nice Bose radio/CD player. Pleasant part of the city and felt safe returning to hotel late at night after local dinner out. Reasonable selection of restaurants nearby on Sunset. Only queen size bed. Had to go to shops after checking in to get some tea/coffee/milk as no basics supplied. TV is small, complicated and functions poorly due to internet delivered signal. Hotel location not the best for sightseeing ie we used public transport to get to Hollywood, Getty, Santa Monica etc ie buses and metro and it always took longer than we hoped to get anywhere. Will hire a car next time! Restaurant not open for dinner on Sunday or Monday nights.

Location was great Only attempt at cleaning room were after 4PM - too late. Too little provided in room (eg coffee maker, dish soap), and have to ask for each and every roll of toilet paper - that's nickle-and-diming and not in line with the quality of the hotel.

The hotel offers a terrific stay experience; very enjoyable in every way. The room was very spacious, stylish and upscale; great design and internationally renowned furniture pieces. All the amenities are first-rate- a genuiune pleasure to be in the room. The kitchenette provisions are very good, so it was a pleasure to prepare some light meals etc and spend time in the nice room. It is more akin to staying in a well-appointed bachelor condo. It is very well sound-insulated, offering terrific privacy. It has a charming interior courtyard bar with lovely plants sheltered from street noise, a pleasant place to gather chat or relax. The elevator from the parking lot did not stop at our 'half' floor. So we humped your luggage up one level of stairs. However, their staff would have done it for you
