Large, well appointed room with comfortable bed. Loved the style and decor. Good location near the Sunset Strip.
Wasn't told that there would be an event at the hotel taking place that evening until we checked in. We were informed we were not alowed to use the restaurant or rooftop bar due to it being a private event. Really??? I was upset because the restaurant and bar were a big part of why I chose the property and now you're telling me I either have to stay off site or be escorted in and quarintined to my room?? They said they gave us wine and chocolate to "make up " for it which was laughable! (Mini bottle and a chocolate bar!) They also delivered us a coffee maker we requested in the morning but no coffee.... I guess we we're suppose to buy the coffee and bring it ourselves?? They didn't even ask how our stay was, just handed us the bill at check out!!! I felt like as long as they got paid to fill that room, that was all that matters. I felt like our experience at the hotel did not matter one bit. If they are going to host an event they should rent rooms to the party goers and not outside guest because clearly that's all they cared about! Very disappointed.
A true hidden treasure only with new staff
1. The decor is amazing. I could live in the hotel! 2. One of the men at the reception when we checked out (the one in the checked shirt) and the waiter who served us during breakfast were very friendly, warm and helpful.
1. No one to help with luggage when we arrived. We have 3 huge heavy luggage bags and you have to come down a steep staircase from the entrance to the lobby. Needless to say, we have to manage the bags to the room ourselves. And when asked how to get to the room the second time, the receptionist merely gave us the directions instead of showing us how to get to the lift. 2. We told the reception the night before that we would like to check out an hour later at 12 noon and he said no problem and he'll sort it out. At 11am, the phone in the room rang and we were both in the bathroom and therefore could not answer. Then someone knocked on the door to check on us. He went away and came back min later and asked us to call the reception!!! Come on, shouldn't the reception call again instead of asking the guests to call?!! I tried to fine the tel but couldn't - so had to go to the reception. When I arrived at the reception I was asked when I was intending to check out in "not a very friendly manner". I was surprised and told him (not the checked shirt guy) that I already informed by the reception last night that it was all sorted out. He said that I should confirm in the morning - in a manner as if we should have known! Told him I wasn't informed. He did apologise but then said (in a not very friendly manner) that we need to check out by 12 noon at the latest as there are new guests checking into the room. I wouldn't have given such an unfavourable review had the price of the room not been almost USD500 per night.
great room and location, stylish interior and furniture and comfortable bed, great location to explore LA
nothing to complain about
It's a really classy environment, with young, energetic, competent people working to deliver high-quality accommodations. The location is superb, also - and if you don't have a car, you will be able to get ANYWHERE in town by bus.
It's LA. They host parties all the time, the guests are invited to them and the focus of the hotel seems to be on young guests who will love the buzz. If you're not the partying and drinking kind, you may not love it.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, fan above bed, kitchen, shower!
Nothing, it was all great!
The location is excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great shower too.
Perfect stay and staff (Kai) was very helpful.
Location. Quiet. Room layout. Nearby restaurants and attractions.
No ice machine. Check in was botched. Between the video shoots and the weekend party scenes it was hard to be in the lobby or lounge area.
design. kitchen. bath. water pressure. bed.
noisy. no gym. restaurant wasn't good food.
Very comfort, great decoration.
The style and decor were excellent, room was great in terms of size but lacked attention to detail in certain areas, I.e wine and corkscrew but now wine glasses
When we arrived there was a function on in the restaurant which meant the only dinning option was to eat in our room, not great as we wanted to experience the whole of the hotel.
- Big rooms with kitchen, washing machine etc - Very friendly and helpful staff - Great food - Great wifi and FREE ;-) - Great seats in the lobby area. They have a big table where you can sit and work on the computer. Free of charge ;-) - Enough parking space. You can do vallet for $5 if you want, but its really not needed. - Lots of things todo in the lobby area. Party's, exhibitions, etc.. - Lots of restaurants and Starbucks nearby. Ihop is just across the street. - Very safe neighborhood
- If you have a room on the street side, it will be very noisy. - Parking is $26 a day
Very good location and service. The facilities are awesome. Highly recommend it.
It's good to go warned that it's a "party friendly place". I stayed in the hotel during the weekend and on saturday that was a loud party in the hall. But nothing that has compromised my stay
Almost everything. We had our building tented for termites down the street and chose to stay here because it was only 2 blocks from the house. The staff - Amazing. Great cable.
We had a two bedroom. There are no doors on the bedrooms so if someone is watching tv in the downstairs bedroom it echos to the upstairs. Also awkward if you are sleeping with a partner. No Bathroom upstairs requires 3am run down stairs. Only one shower and the downstairs bathroom doesn't have a shelf or drawer. Tea pot has no whistle and you can be severely burned because the handle is not insulated. Shower in Master ill designed. You have to climb over a very tall side to get in.
Tried to charge us a more expensive rate then what was booked. (Approx. $400 more in total than it should have been).
Really liked our room with kitchen and a great size. Location was perfect.
I really missed a swimming pool at this hotel. I knew one was available around the corner at another property but it was missed.
Room hip but cozy décor and large size. Very nice atmosphere in the common areas (reception, patio, lounge), popular at dusk with the local hip crowd. Location at the heart of West Hollywood.
Not much, really.
Amazing location, gigantic rooms, nice design, cool staff, good restaurant, parking on location, great deal
super loud on weekend nights, awesome if you take part to the parties, a bit less if you want to sleep, quiet the rest of the week
Room internet excellent, bathroom very good. location convenient. Full kitchen and pet friendly
Parking charge too much.
The localization is great.
