The location was not bad
I arrived a few hours before noon and I had to pay $40 extra for that! The smell was horrible because there was a seafood restaurant in the first floor The bathroom was old, dirty, and the bathtub was rusty, the towels were rough to dry with! The TV only had few channels and mostly were in Korean language! The air conditioning was not working!
It's good has fridge clean and and in the middle of everyt
Attitude of staff was excellent.
Location, Affordabilility, WiFi
Close to Koreatown Plaza.
The air conditioning too lound. There was a diaper underneath the bed.
Location Reciption was smily and helpful
Old hotel Not clean
Although the staff spoke little english, they were apologetic and agreed to refund the second nights costs when we cancelled due to the filthy room.
The room was filthy, there was hair from the previous guests throughout the dirty bathroom. The sheets hadnt been changed as we found food in the bed. The carpet was filthy and we cancelled the booking for the second night. The window locks were and there was a lot of noise from outside.
Lounge/mini kitchen/livingroom Breakfast provided Locally within walking distance to food mart/eatery
Need to clean rug/tile floor in rooms Thorough vacuuming More parking
--Free parking is useless because it is shared with the restaurant that is located in the hotel --Disgusting room, didn't even want to take our shoes off in the room because the carpet was so old and smelly --The bed was uncomfortable and was barely supported on a broken box spring --The bed sheets were stained, smelly, old, and cigarette holes all over them in the "non-smoking" room --I think there may have been bed bugs, we both got bit all over --Room reeked of cigarette smell --Towels were really old and smelly --Furniture was all old and definitely in need of replacement --Poor customer service! I asked the front desk for more towels, and they said they weren't getting any until later on in the afternoon (?) and told me he would leave two behind the in the cabinet for us behind the desk...all I would have to do is ask. Well, when that time came and it was a different guy behind the counter, he was extremely rude and short with us. When I tried to explain to him that the other guy said he would hold some in the cabinet for us, he yelled at me yelling, "What, you think I'm a liar?! There's nothing back here!!!" RUDE --Overall just a really old, dingy, stink, GROSS hotel. Please do not stay here!
staff was friendly and the price was affordable. close to Universal Studios, Walk of fame, and the Beach.
Parking was tight and the carpets were dirty.
The karaoke bar in the basement is Fellini-esque fun, on occasion. The hotel does provide coffee and cereal in the lobby. The grandiose name of the place is amusing. The location is fairly central.
About 90 percent clean but also 90 percent shabby. Deactivated room key well before checkout. Some language difficulty. Parking situation ad hoc. Pretty much like a hotel you'd expect to encounter in another country with lower standards.
Dirty. Location was bad. Facilities were run down. Staff didnt inform us of anything. Didnt let us know which floor our room was or when check out was.
This hotel is great if you are looking to stay in a safe area in Los Angeles for a low price. Price- quality balance is good, the staff is nice altough they don't speak really good english.. but that didn't bother me.
The hotel is not near any of the touristic attraction. Hollywood, Santa Monica blvd, Hermosa Beach etc. are all a pretty long way. But if you know this before you go there it is still a great place to stay.
In Koreatown & not too far away from subway station. Good price. A restaurant with good Korean spicy soup in the same building. Big room, clean & quiet.
They didn't let me leave my luggage there after checking out.
They provided bottled water in the refrigerator for free.
Parking space is limited.
Costumer services is bad. The guy there didn't seem to care. They have three different check out times posted. On line at 11:00 am there at 12:00pm and if you ask it's 11:30am.
It was really good for your money. It was way cleaner and nicer than I thought it would be. Don't let the outside of the building fool you. They have parking, which is always a plus in LA, and its in the center of Korea town, so it's really convenient to just walk to places if you wanted to. I speak Korean, so it was fine, however, my friends I was with did not. If you don't speak Korean, it will be hard to communicate to the person behind the lobby desk: they don't speak much English. Besides that little minor fact, everything was great. Its a decent cheap place to stay if you are a little concerned about cash. It also has AC which was nice.
I wish they installed an actual lightbulb instead of lights. It was kind of dark in the room, but whatever.
This was the final place we stayed in the US, after a 7 week drive across from Orlando. It was easily one if the best places we stayed in and was a good location, in the heart of Koreantown. Reviews we had read mentioned the wifi was poor, but it was good and consistent. Also, the staff are Korean, and don't speak a great deal of English, but more than enough for what we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and stay again myself in the future.
The only problem we had was that the extraction fan didn't work in the bathroom, so it was constantly hot and humid, but this certainly wouldn't be a reason not to stay here.
Cigarette ashes on the bathroom floor. We are non- smokers.
Air-conditioning, very small fridge in room, Friendly staff, microwave in lobby, onsite covered parking, complimentary cereal provided in mornings
Staff speaks broken English if at all, Bedding didn't feel clean, room had very poor lighting
Really like the location; close to Korea Town and our relatives..
Since they did not receive the confirmation fax from Booking.com and i did not take my printed copy, i was charged at higher rate. I don't think its hotel's fault..
Great location. Very close to Wilshire and the Metro.
Hotel needs renovation. Looks and feels very dated. And the bath tub was clogged.
