Holiday Inn Express Daytona Beach Shores  

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and slept well. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job of keeping our room tidy each day. The hotel was convenient to a causeway that crossed the bay to the mainland.

The breakfast was pretty good. But, the eggs left a bit to be desired.

I loved the location. The rooms were large and comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was not as expected. The eggs had been sitting a long time and were hard with no taste. The lady at the check in desk was not friendly at all BUT the guy at check out was wonderful and very helpful.

I am extremely upset with booking this hotel. It is specificaly stated that the hotel can be paid when you check out of the hotel and before I even checked into the hotel my card had been charged and when I called to tp find out why I was told it was a formality that had to show but would not be charged and that I could use whatever card I wanted to use. When checking out I was not allowed to use another card and the card I reserved the room with had to be used. This was never stated and I had to rush and transfer money to another account to pay for my room. This needs to be removed from the website due to the fact that is a lie. (This is for Bookingonline and not the Holiday Inn)

I like everything about my trip by it being my first time on the beach and in florida, and i'm 41 years old. Plus I got to see my daughter get married on the beach .The hotel was very clean and the ladies working at the front desk was very nice.

I go to Daytona every year for Bike Week and Biketoberfest. The only compliant is the price was very high. The highlight of the hotel is the staff. Everybody was very friendly and helpfull, congratulations! I was really impressed.

Liked the breakfast buffet, the clean rooms, and the great view.

room was updated and new also comfortable was a very nice hotel ,great breakfast ,

found a cockroach by are luggage just as we were packing to leave. entry door needed to be adjusted it got windy and the wind was making loud sounds through the gaps between the door and frame ,it also was blowing in the air conditioning unit .

Everything at the hotel was great exept the BED Mattress which was horrable a big hump in the middle & a hole on both sides, should have been changed years ago.

The staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was clean and quiet. Great value!

Lovely room right on the shore. Very clean. Great gal at the front desk as she was so helpful.

This is not a complaint about the hotel but some jerk had smoked in our room. The hotel did their best to remove the smell but we could still smell the chemical odor remover. People who smoke in their hotel rooms think that one or two won't be noticed but the odor is repugnant... Don't smoke indoors!

Little out of the way

Everything was absolutely wonderful. My family and I came down for a funerial and the staff were very accommodating. We drove from Maryland and got in very late. Everyone was very nice. Absolutely an outstanding hotel and award winning customer service.

Nice room and a great breakfast.

I was very impressed, the quality was very high, towels were like the ones at home, beds were very confortable, everything was like brand new, I loved staying there, was very nice getting breakfast every morning.

One thing outside of our door on 10th floor was flooded from rain

We liked everything. The Cleanliness was the thing we were most impressed with.

The view was awesome. Ocean front rooms were perfect.Complete with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Comfortable beds, modern amenities, I.E. tv, alarm clock, shower, blow dryer, iron, safe etc. The business center downstairs was a welcomed surprise. The hot breakfast buffet had many options to chose from. The pool was also very nice. Plenty of table and chairs surrounded it and there was never a shortage with easy access to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Express Daytona Beach Shores and will definitely be back. Thank you.
