Grand Palm Plaza (Gay Male Resort)  

Clean, near the beach (about 4 blocks), quiet and confortable. Nice complimentary breakfast. Good staff.

The hotel needs a renovation, it seems very old fashion in some aspects. Tv very old (tube!) and incredible videocassete/DVD equipment. Strange guests: nobody interact! I have expected to make friends there, but it was impossible. It seems a no gay hotel. In this aspect, I was disapointed.

The only positive comment, I can make is that your staff was excellent.

I was appalled to see the room that I was booked in. These rooms look nothing like what you exhibit on your website. I asked for a change of rooms which I received. However there was an additional charge, because I given the suite, which I had to pay extra for. The exterior of your facility leaves much to be desired. The ice machine was out for three days. Most of the time the heater didn't work for the pool. I feel sorry for your staff that has to deal with these situations. In addition I was charged extra because I requested a later check out. No mention was made, that there would be an additional charge.

We thought the staff and guests were all very nice and made us feel welcome. It's nice to stay in a place where you feel safe and secure and that the other guests were friendly.

The only thing that could be improved with Palm Plaza was the lack of a bar / or the ability to purchase drinks. This wasn't a big problem as we brought our own from the liquor store - but it would have been a bit easier if the resort had this service. Plan in advance and everything should be great!

Close to the beach. Gay friendly. Staff are friendly. Allowed us to check out late.

Mosquitoes. Old tv. Remote Control didn't work. Bad shower (super hot then super cold water.) Old carpet. Lame continental breakfast. Overall facility is still under construction.

Very run down and not very clean. We had many things out of order: the fridge produced a lot of strange noise, table lamps were not functioning, the front door stuck, the room was not very clean, both bathroom ventilation and heating were out of order.

Beautiful Grounds (a tropical paradise). Nice, clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The pool was out of comission one day for repairs. But, that was just bad timing.

Beautiful court outside. Older building. Ñice pool,However, The micowave in my room started smoking and made me scared and sick. No one on duty @ ñight. Very quirky guests.

The manger, Stephen, was a doll! Very welcoming, professional, and kind! The grounds were well kept and clean. The room was very nice and had a small kitchenette which we found very useful. It was very quiet, and the guests were very friendly as well, and we found that most are repeat customers.

The beds were not the most comfortable as the mattress seemed very old and not firm. We also had a problem with gnats in the bathroom.

Staff was very friendly and nice.

The main attraction is that it is clean, economical and really close to the beach and the rest of Fort Lauderdale. Ample free parking is a plus. It is close to the w Hotel and the Ritz Carlton, so it is in a very good location. Even though the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, the Ritz has a beautiful covered patio overlooking the ocean where you can eat and relax. I would definitely come here again. My impression is that the resort caters to middle to older age gay men who like to sunbathe in the nude at the pool. Not my thing but that was fine.

Está en ruinas, no hay jardines sólo matas plásticas, está muy deteriorado, y el área de toda la piscina ni hablar!!!!!

Отличный частный отель по разумной цене. Очень комфортный номер, удобная большая кровать, холодильник с набором завтрака, кофеварка, чайник. Бассейн, релаксирующая музыка. Все создано для уютного спокойного отдыха.

Контингент очень возрастной - пенсия.

Limpieza zonas comunes, gimnasio y estancias muy anticuadas, pero camas limpias y confortables. La señal wifi no llegaba a la 25. Desayuno de un zumo, bollo caducado y con moho y un yogurt!!!

Buena atencion por parte del encargado, super bien ubicado, cerca de la zona de rumba, de la orilla de del mar, las playas, la gente, es un lugar seguro, no tiene estacionamiento privado, los carros se estacionan afuera, pero el vecindario es seguro. Se hospedan personas mayores pero amigables, yo volveria a ir a ese lugar.

El desayuno es gratuito, ensalada de frutas, yogurt y muffins, me parece muy dulce para el desayuno, pudieran tener baggels o pan de sandwich. Del resto todo bien.
