Wonderfully located hotel, staffed by attentitive, helpful staff. The hotel accommodation/facilities are excellent. Overall a great experience. I will certainly stay here again should I be fortunate enough to return to Chicago.

Excellent on all counts - staff, location, price, facilities. Despite arriving New year's Eve, check-in was smooth and fast, an the complimentary wine hour was going on. Got an excellent rate on booking.com again despite it being nye and a last-minute reservation. Would definitely stay again Palomar made my first trip to Chicago special.

Location cannot be beat: in the middle of shopping and restaurants with access to the L. The restaurant and bar downstairs are excellent. Friendly, kind staff. Dogs are welcome. Wouldn't consider this a luxury hotel - more like a nice three-star. Rooms are not that user-friendly: they are smaller than expected, there was no closet, and the sliding door for the bathroom was definitely too heavy for small children. Not enough storage space for clothes and personal items in the room for people staying more than 2-3 days.

The concierge Jack made our babymoon getaway one to remember! He was knowledgeable about the city in terms of recommending tours and restaurants. He also went over and above in terms of trying to coordinate spa treatments and surprised us with non-alcoholic sparkling cider and strawberries and chocolate which was a wonderful touch! Spa treatments should be easier for the staff to arrange, currently cumbersome.

Staff was excellent. Room design>> beauty trumps functionality and comfort. E.G., bathroom is pretty but there are no towel hooks. Decoration in room leaves no room for your own stuff. Decorative pillows are useless and in he way. The minibar is stuffed and ther is no room for your own few items that you might wish to cool.

I love Kimpton hotels mainly bc they allow dogs. This hotel has a small pool which I didnt like and too many little kids that needed their own pool. :D

Attractive, new rooms. Within walking distance of quite a bit. Nice gym and friendly desk and valet staff. Lack of late check-out permission. Standard king rooms are a bit small, but that's Chicago...

Loved sitting in the lobby room by the fireplace. Very cool space. My daughter had cookies and milk. I had a great cappuccino.... Loved swimming in the pool. Smaller than expected but great views. Leaving....

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Rooms were very clean, modern and decorated beautifully. Will definately return to this hotel when I visit Chicago again! The restaurant didn't open up for breakfast until 6:30am.

O quarto King em que fiquei era muito amplo, bem decorado e com uma linda vista. A cama era muito confortável. O banheiro também amplo, com uma grande banheira de hidromassagem. O serviço de limpeza foi impecável. Os funcionários muito delicados, atenciosos e prestativos. O check in e o check out foram extremamente rápidos.
