It is not very far from the center. Many restaurants in the neighborhood.

Rooms with one double bad are very small.

The rooms are big with plenty of space, the beds are comfy and the bath robes are really funky! The position of the hotel is very good as it's in the middle of everything. Easy walk to the White House, monuments and Georgetown. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Palomar is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and were accomodating to a couple requests I made. The room was clean and was surprisingly big compared to what I thought it might be like.

Not much here to report. I suppose the bathrooms are ok and could be remodeled to match the clean contemporary look of much of the rest of the hotel.

Location! Easy to get anywhere, close to subway. Very nice shops and restaurants around the area. Happy hour is great!

No much, one of the lift is not working during my stay. Had to wait for a while for the lift.

I loved the inside of the hotel, the room was great

Parking too expensive, not having a bar at the hotel was a disappointment

Room is very comfortable , it is on good aria, stuffs are professional .

I arrived there late in the night and I was ready to sleep , there is a mini bar in the room, but it is lacked. I called them and ask them to bring the key. I surprised why they lack it on such a good hotel.

Room was not cleaned. There was other people's garbage left in the garbage can and left on the floor. The room smelled of greasy food and there were dirty wash cloths left in the shower

The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the cold fruit infused water in the lobby was so refreshing after a day of walking & seeing the sights. Loved that the location was within walking distance to Georgetown as well.

The beds were not very comfortable.

Good location a few blocks from the white house. Spacious clean rooms & nice to have access to an outside pool, complimentary drinks at 5 is nice touch.

The dining area was closed while we were there so we had to eat out which was fine but requires a bit of extra effort. Free Wifi was not obviously available but we discovered it can be if you join their loyalty programme.

Executive king is huge, w/ yoga mat and programs on demand (free) Neighborhood has lots of restaurant/bar options and is close to the metro. Heated pool,

Shower temperature impossible to regulate. 2/4 elevators under repair. You don't get kimpton points for your stay when using booking.com.

Took 3 rooms before they could find a room that wasn't either dirty or reeked like smoke. Elevators are a problem very small and have to wait forever

The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Also the shower pressure was great.

First and foremost after a long trip we were taken to our room that was not ready. The bell hop was quick to get us a different room. The new room was nice but entering a room where it smelled like the vacuum bag needed to be changed is not what I was expecting. The entire hotel looks looks like it is tired and thread bare. Our furniture had nicks in it, the closets doors also were marked and the bathroom floor smelled like urine. I honestly have to say having travelled all over the world that this hotel is not worth the $400.00 dollars a night I paid. I work way too hard to see my money not getting a warranted value. The recommendations from the staff to take the Big Bus Tour was a disappointment. The bus service was never on time. We had to wait over 45 minutes for the bus out in the oppressive heat. Our final day in DC we took the metro and decided that is the best way to navigate the city.

Have worked for 3 hotel chains. Also stayed in in many hotels in most parts of Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. Business and vaccations. Palomar is the best one so far. Fantastic room. Great staff all over Reception, concierge, cleaning, bell captain, restaurant. Stayed in a king spa room.
