Location of the hotel is great, just 10 min walk from subway station Grand Av/Newtown. Also the hotel offers free shuttle from JFK and LGA. Shuttle to JFK and LGA costs 6 USD/person. |

Very spacious and a clean room with a decent price. Employees were nice. Plus you can store your luggage for a dollar if you arrive before check-in time. It's a little far from the city but reasonable for this price. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. You hear spanish rather than english around here. |

Hotel staff was amazing and dealt well with our "weary travel syndrome". After a 12 1/2 hour flight, we were very cranky. Hotel provides free shuttle service from both La Guardia and jfk. A small fee of $6 is charge for return travel to either airport. The drivers are kind and extremely helpful. The attached restaurant was reasonably priced and had great basic food. Always fresh coffee and hot water in the Lobby. There is also a MacDonalds across the street. Macy's current Santa stays here, so how bad could it be. It was kind of fun to see him roaming the hotel. |

Quality establishment, competent staff, timely shuttle from airport, clean, comfortable and good value. Restaurant was good value for money, polite staff. One small room maintenance issue was addressed efficiently, and immediately. Distance from Manhattan could be an issue for some, however I enjoyed the New York experience, riding the subway was easy and fun,and quite efficient. I had a front (Queens Blvd) room which could be a little noisy at times, but didn't really bother me too much. These two issues were very minor and did not detract at all from the experience. |

Upon arriving at JFK at 5:10 PM on 9/16 and called the hotel to have a courtesy pick up to the hotel. We were told the driver was approaching JFK and she would call back shortly. She did not. Upon repeated calls to the hotel we were told the val would be there shortly. We arrived at the hotel about 7:20PM in the hotel van. No, I am not pleased with the whole experience. |

Nice hotel in a nice area. Free shuttle to the hotel from JFK, which was prompt. Plus only costs $6 each return, which is excellent value for money. The location is OK, but takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Manhatten. If you are only visiting for a short trip, it may be easier to stay in central Manhatten, as its quicker to get to some of the sights. But saying that, the Subway is 3 blocks away and you can get to Manhatten on one subway train, the R or the V. There is also a bus stop a short walk away which will take you to the subway station/back to hotel. There is also a lovely diner nearby 'Pops', which is good value for breakfast or dinner. Plus I enjoyed the local 'Sunrise' bakery for cakes and buns. |

Excellent location in Queens for Flushing Meadows and direct train to Manhatten. Airport shuttle hotel provides excellent. Lots of trips and important information available at hotel. Bellman was extremely rude on final day when asked just 1 question. Charging $5 for printing a 2 boarding passes(2 pieces of paper) on computer was extreme. |

The hotel was really geared up to facilitate visits to the US Open Tennis, running shuttles there at very reasonable cost, preprinting travel instructions and providing the schedule of play in the lobby. Also the TV included the Tennis Channel. As this was the purpose of my visit I was very satisfied but the hotel was good in every other way too. |

The overall experience at the hotel was good. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The rooms were cleaned daily. The maid accommodated our needs without us even requesting extra services. The location from Manhattan. Public transportation requires at least two hours each day to go to and from the city. The neighborhood atmosphere does not match that of the hotel's. There was also a lack of television channels. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. There is parking on site, which is a plus. The lot gets crowded on weekends, as there is a club downstairs. Noise was not an issue at all though. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's all I ask, really. |
