The shuttle was not free that I expected. No wi-fi in the room. It was noisy at night. Too far from the subway station.

Pan American hotel do not have pubilc free WIFI and need pay 12 USD/ day for WIFI. Further more, WIFI speed is so slow that it is not able to check email under this WIFI.

picked us up at JFK.Most hotels in that area would not.

No air conditioning, when I called about it was told the nights were cool I didnt need it. Ice machine didnt work. The room was filthy. and smelled.

Easy access to subway, resturant was pretty good, wait staff was friendly.

Very noisy, on Queens Blvd - traffic & air traffic. Rooms were not "sound-proof" so other guests comings & goings easily heard. Some of the front desk staff not very friendly - almost rude.

From the website, I thought the shuttle to the hotel/airport was included, but discovered when I got there it was $10/person--which is more than a cab would have cost us. This was upsetting!

I loved this hotel I felt very safe and comfy. It was really good and I liked that how close malls and other stores where to this hotel.

There wasn't really any good food around this hotel, actually I didn't like the food at all in NYC.

Ants and not just one found throughtout the bathroom especially on the toilet paper and holder. Also found in my friends room adjacent as well. Noisy on the first floor especially with air conditioners outside the room. One bed mattress was in bad condition too. Worst room I have ever had at this hotel.

This hotel is awful. First I book two rooms and they were at two opposite ends of the hotel also they state is smoke free but the room stink. When advised the staff they stated that is was a smoke free hotel and did not suggust a room change. This hotel was by far not cheap as I regular at other hotels and for the price of the rooms it was disapointing as the room where old fashion you couldnt see the tv because it was in a closet type thing but the doors only opened but so far it just look like a hole in the wall motel where people dont bring kids. The beds were hard and the sheet did smelt like cigars. Never again

They lie. On reservation I was told that airport shuttle is free. When we checked in we were told there will be a charge. On top of that the Shuttle runs every 90 minutes! The concierge was extremely rude, and scolded my children, and made them cry. As a result we checked out and did not stay.

The location is good. It's close to restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket. The subway station is also close by.

The hallway is dark and smelly. The room was not so clean. The room looks so old and so is the bathroom. There was no Internet signal in the room the whole 4 days we were there. It was definitely not worth the money we paid.

Friendly, prompt service and a great way to stay within proximity of the city affordably. The room was basic, but was clean and private.

The closest subway stop was slightly farther than it seemed on a map.

My husband &I staying over night. We had a resteful night sleep, the hotel is clean, bed hard but confortable, the hotel need renovations

The hotel is located a 5 Min walk from a subway station that only takes 10-15 mins to get to Times Square. The transfer pick up from the airport was also helpful.

The receptionist was rude and very unhelpful, we requested a cot in our room for our baby months ago when we booked, I again emailed the hotel a week before we were due to arrive to make sure the cot would be in the room as we have a young baby and would be travelling for hours and hours. When we arrived at 9.30pm we were told "no there is not a cot, you have 2 double beds instead." This was a ridiculous suggestion for a 1 year old and we were then told you will need to wait until 11 for the night staff to start and bring it to you. So after a long and stressful wait the night staff turned up at 11.20pm with a single bed, when we told him we needed a cot/crib his response was "well you will need to wait about an hour as I'm really busy I have alot to do." These two men, should not have jobs with the public, they ruined our stay over and over again by being so unhelpful and rude throughout our 2 days staying here. The hotel would have been ok but not until they get rid of the staff that are ruining it.
