    This was the worst experience ever. The hotel had technical issues and had to cancel our reservation. They failed to notify us on time and altered us on 6 pm the day we were suppose to check in. We arrived at the hotel late that night and they sent us to another hotel telling us it was the same class hotel, which was untrue. We were forced to sleep in a dirty and unsafe hotel and they refused to help us find something else or offer us any other hotel. When we talked to the staff they had no idea what was going on and just kept repeating what they were told to saw, when we talked to the manager, they offered us no compensation and told us that they could not do anything to help us.

    There is airport shuttle from the hotel to JFK and LGA airport for $10 per person.

    The bed linen was very thin and the carpet was dirty. The bed was very saggy and not comfortable. You sink into the middle of the bed. There is no hot water (coffee machine) in the room.

    Location is so-so, not far from the shopping district in Queens and transportation to the city center in Manhattan Island is relatively easy. Check-in and check-out process were very quick, the staff was helpful.

    The shuttle service to the airport is only limited until 4 p.m. Not too friendly for those who board evening flights. Pretty pricey for a hotel located outside city center.

    My son and I liked the old fashion hotel. Yes! it needed some renovation but it is closing down on the 5th of January 2014. Staff were courteous and helpful. There was a Chinese restaurant which was great value for $5.25 for a large meal. Malls were 10 minutes down the road. A MacDonald just over the road. Half an hour into Manhattan. I would definitely stay again.

    No wifi or safe the in rooms had to go down to lobby.

    location is not to far from times square

    THE HOTEL IS OLD AND DIRTY, NOT COMFORTABLE and shuttle to airport is not free which was not clair in hotels amenties. would not recommend it to any family with kids. IT IS NOT 3 STARS HOTEL AT ALL

    This place is a dump !! We booked two rooms , they were not what we booked ! They said they did not even have what was on our booking email !!! Place smelled of POT ! Was discussing !!!

    The evening staff was friendly and helpful, and the driver to the airport was very efficient and friendly also.

    The restaurant / bar was closed for renovations and apparently had been closed for some time. Since we had just arrived from Europe on a eleven-plus hour flight, this was not welcome news. I would suggest that the website be updated to include the lack of services until these services are again available.

    Near the subway station to Manhattan.

    1. Old building. 2. Deteriorating amenities. 3. Dirty carpet. 4. Malfunctioning heating/cooling unit. 5. Noise of trucks at the back area of the building at mid-night. 6. The dining room was closed for renovation. 7. No hot water bottle in room.

    I liked the free parking lot with no fuss. The price was acceptable.

    It was a little far from the subway for us old folks. Very few amenities, E.G. coffee in room, microwave in room. The bar/restaurant was closed. There was a smell of sewer around the outside.

    Close to Grand Ave/Newtown subway, shopping, food, 2 major highways. Great city tour right from the hotel lobby. Ask the concierge. Also LOVED having free parking.

    Clean bed.

    No restaurant in the hotel - had to go out for breakfast and dinners. No internet in the room, free wi-fi in the lobby was so slow it was unusable. cleanliness was substandard for a hotel that was more expensive than holiday Inn I stayed in other cities. Staff offered poor local travel information

    Room was clean and tidy, staff replenished and cleaned room well.

    Attitude of the bell captain the Monday night of my stay. He was rude and seemed to be very irritable. He did not seem to want to give me advice regarding finding the location in NYC I was asking for, he did offer me information but I was made to feel like I was putting him out. I put in a written complaint with the reception lady.

    Location to where I was visiting

    The response I received when I called the front desk. I suffer from severe asthma and my room had no air conditioning and was very hot. I called the front desk and they told me the air conditioning had been turned off and to open the window. I proceeded to tell her about my condition and that the window was open and she said there was nothing else she could do.

    Had shuttle service for both jfk and LaGuardia airports.

    Restaurant was closed and had to walk about 2 blocks to get to something other than a McDonalds. Hotel charged $10pp for return trip to airport. This was not in their information!

    Was not clear that shuttle to airport when leaving would not be free ( pick up was ) Tired rooms, old, a bit musty Low cost was not really that low for the facility it was.

    İ like the location ,5 min from subway, we mostly went to Manhattan, 30min directly wth subway, but for this price acceptable. Staff was ok . Room was ok , comparing the money we have paid . Breakfast was offered nearby a restaurant.

    We stayed 5 nights , towels were changed often but not sheets . i̇nternet acces only at lobby. We had no big expactations due to low budget htl but it was a little bit old.

    I was going to us Open so hotel was only a mile or so from the venue. Hotel also had bus take you to us Open grounds but you had to find your own way back.

    The hotel had a great coffee shop on the first floor but it was closed for renovations. There was a diner 1/2 block away.
